NEW ChatGPT Code 5.3 Update

We have a brand new update from chat GPT. We've got GPT 5. 3 codeex. This has just arrived. Apparently has the best coding performance. It's faster than ever. Less than half the tokens for 5. 2 codecs for the same tasks. So it's 25% faster per token. Supposed to be quite good at computer use as well. And one of the interesting things about this is

Opus 4. 6 6 which also just came out today from Claude and Anastropic came out within minutes of chat GPT 5. 3 codeex. So you can see how they're basically competing um to win your attention when it comes to AI and we can find the full details here. So these are the details on GPT 5. 3 codeex and

they've said we're introducing a new model that unlocks even more of what codeex can do. GPT 5. 3 CEX the most capable agentic coding model to date. Right. the model advances blah blah and this is their first model. Here's all the details. So you can see um state-of-the-art performance on SWE benchmarks. Right here it's outperforming codeex 5. 2 and GPT 5. 2 by quite a long way. Quite good for development. So web development. So for example like web games and that sort of thing. Here's an example of something actually created. It's pretty cool. It's like a 3D game that I created right here. Here's another one. And you actually got the prompts as well here and you can play it yourself these games that it's created. So we can open it up and then start using it. This is a website that coded out as you can see right here. And we've actually got the full prompt that we can test out like so. Now let's have a look if this is available inside my codeex OS. So if I open up codeex OS which literally just came out this week as well. We're going to update this. You can see the blue button to update. Reopen it.

And boom. Shakalaka. We have GPT 5. 3 codeex ready to go. So, what we're going to do from here is we are going to create a new project. Let's set this bad boy up 5. 3 and we'll open this inside GPT codeex. GPT codeex OS is free for a limited time only. All right. So, it's not free forever. It's free for a limited time only. Just being 100% transparent with you. But you can test it out for free. Right. And inside there, we can get access to GPT 5. 3. Now I'm not sure which plan this is available on. So let's have a look. Oh, look at this. So yeah, GPT 5. 3 is available with paid chat GPT plans. Everywhere you can use codeex, the app, CLI, ID, extension, and web. Right. So it says everywhere you can use codeex. So I assume that if you've got access to codeex for free, then whilst that's available for free, you can probably get 5. 3 codeex for free. But I don't know cuz it doesn't say on the website. It doesn't tell me. All right. So I don't know 100. Now, if we go back to codeex over here, we can start coding something out. So, let's create a new project here. And you know what? I think this could be quite fun. I'm going to create a test. We're going to plug this in, right? Like so. And I'll create this website in the background. But one thing that I want to test this out with. We're going to add a new project here. Is we are going to create a new folder. And I'll call this open claw. Right. Open claw plus 5. 3 attempt. Now what I'm going to attempt

here inside this project is number one I'm going to uninstall openclaw and then I'm going to see if GPT 5. 3 codeex can figure out how to number one install openclaw from the GitHub but number two if it can figure out how to actually use codeex 5. 3 af inside openclaw as well or whether it's going to default to 5. 2 cuz if you can switch it to 5. 3 that's going to be impressive. Let's see how it goes. So what I'm going to do is take the uninstall instructions from the AR profit boarding as you can see right here just to remove this. The reason that I like to uninstall it quickly is because otherwise like if you try and update it or you try and switch over an API that can take a lot more time and work than just uninstalling it and reinstalling it. And then if you want to export the memory from openclaw you can just do that before you uninstall it. Right. So now what we're going to do is open up the open claw GitHub like so. We'll grab this. Then we'll go back to codeex like this. I'm going to say okay install this plus figure out a way to use codeex 5. 3 o with open claw. Let's see if it can do it. Now as far as I'm aware, there's no update yet from open claw that allows you to use codeex 5. 3. You can use chat GBT codeex but it's 5. 2 only from what I can see as you can see right here. We can switch between the reasoning as well. Look at this. You got low, you got medium, you got high, and you got extra high. That's pretty insane. So, if we go back to the landing page that we're creating now as well. Here we go, my friends. So, we've got the index html and that has finished creating this out. So, I'm going to say okay. Now, open it up. Um this is for the website that we created. Just taking the prompt off uh openly announcement to see whether it could create the same thing. So this is the page that we created using codeex 5. 3. Works nicely. Pretty simple and easy to set up. Literally took a couple of minutes whilst we were setting up open claw to get that sorted out. So that was pretty nice. I like that. Now let's go back to open core and see how it's doing. And you see here it says clone is in progress. Once it completes I'll install with pmppm then configure the test. Right. The cool thing about codeex is even though it says code and codeex in the name, it's pretty easy to set up, right? Like you don't need to be a coder to use this. And I'll tell you why. Cuz I'm not a coder and I can use it, right? I can build landing pages in a couple of minutes using this process right here. So, this is beginning to set up now. It's going to be MPM. Install it. That page looks clean, better than Claude, actually. Yeah, I would agree. As Sam says, is it five times better? And when I say five times better, I mean that it's got a five times larger context window uh when it comes to Claude. So that's what I mean by that. And then we're going to see how this performs. Install. So it's successfully installed OpenClaw. It says I'm now checking OpenClaw's provider model configuration to produce a concrete codeex 5. 3 setup. Now it's going to test if 5. 3 works. I have a feeling it's not going to work, but let's see. Let's see what other people are saying about Codeex 5. 3 as well. This is interesting. This is a uh a

tweet by Neil who says, "Codeex 5. 3 versus Opus 4. 6. The two long didn't read is Opus 4. 6 has 1 million contacts enterprise knowledge work 500 zero days found agent teams and claw code not benching as high as codeex 5. 3 now obviously benchmarks are self-reported right so you know you've got to test this stuff out for yourself and then GPT 5. 3 is winning on code benchmarks faster um and less than half the context window so opus 4. 6 has a much higher context window. This is interesting. Look at this. So, it set up a fallback chain, but I don't think it managed to run 5. 3 codeex. Let's try this out. We'll run a local session with open claw. See if this works. Just totally failed on that, not going to lie. Look, it says open gateway UI is up. But if we refresh this, it's not working. I say try again. Another thing that we could test out here is we have the previous version of the AR profit bordering website that I created. So, I'm going to say open this up and then I'm going to see if Codeex 5. 3 can actually improve the previous version of the website, too. We've already built a website with 5. 3. That was pretty good. I'm also wondering, let me just double check over here. Yeah, so it's not If you just go to the chat here, you can't see um 5. 3 inside the chat. So, just be 100% honest there as well. Now, if we go back to Codeex here, yes, I mean Codeex is not that good from what I can see. It's struggling to install open claw, right? It's being silly there. I've also said open this HTML up for the AR profit boarding website. And look, it's failed at that as well. It started using the wrong skill for setting that up and opening it up. Now, I do tend to find that with a lot of these tools quite often when you start using them, they're not as good as once they've run through the beta period or

for the first release. But so far, I would say I'm much more impressed with called Opus 4. 6 6 versus using something like codeex 5. 3. Right, just from what I've tested today, I can already see and feel the Claude Opus 4. 6 is working a lot better, a lot smoother than using something like Codeex 5. 3. However, it will probably take a lot more testing to figure that out. It's just like, you know, if it can't even open up a simple HTML, then what are we doing here? You know, says, "How can you not be tired after all those videos? Haven't you gone insane? " Not yet. The only thing insane is the updates themselves. However, I wouldn't say the codeex 5. 3 is insane. I would say Opus 4. 6 is a lot more impressive.
