NEW Qwen3 Coder Update!

So today we're going to be looking at Quen 3 coder next which is an openway LM built for coding um agents and local development. So you can see here's what's new. So scaling aentic training is 800,000 verifiable tasks efficiency. It supports open claw as well which is something that I get asked about a lot and we're going to be just looking at the setup and how to use this. So you

can see the benchmarks right here. If we take a look, for example, if we compare it to Deep Seek, Kim K 2. 5, GLM 4. 7, you can see in terms of this, it is outperforming them on S. Benchmarks. Now, it's kind of on par with Claude Sonnet, although Opus 4. 5 is still ahead of it, but that's understandable. And you can see the performance on coding agent benchmarks as well here. So on SWE bench performance you've got Quen at 70. 5 whereas GLM Z AI and Miniax is still outperforming it but you can see examples right here and also it's interesting that it's designed specifically for coding agents and local development. Why is that important? Well

if you look at for example stuff like open claw a lot of people are struggling with the token limits and everything else uh using quen uh sorry using these other models and so quen 3 kodo could potentially help with that. Right now you can host it on hugging face. You can see some examples of the different options. So you've got for example quen 3 coden x quen 3 codex fp8 quen 3 cod next base and then quen 3 kod next gguf right and these are all literally updated within the last 24 hours. Now if we take a look at the model scope you can see examples of the models right here. So if we click on this for example we can see the model card how it works. Some of the highlights, it's very

efficient with performance, advanced agent capabilities, versatile integration with real world IDs, so you can use it inside your local ID as well. This is the there's a lot of different models that come out from Quen, but this is the Quen 3 coder next, right? So, you can see the details of it right here, plus how to run it, set it up locally, etc. We've also got demos here on how you can push this model um with aic coding, right? So how you can use it for example inside your local ids. Now if we take a look for example here

we can see the demo one. So this is creating a chat interface and basically it can quickly create a chat interface using AI and then you've got an example of what the commands and the tool looks like. You've also got an option where you can clean up your desktop. Right. So using this demo, it's kind of like claude coowork where you can run quen locally here as you can see and then you can say please tidy up my desk and kind of like claude coowork works it will connect to your local files and organize your desktop. You can also use it inside client. So this is a demo creating a multiolor animation. You can see the example right here which is pretty cool. And then finally, which I think a lot of people are excited for, you can see an example of the demo with Open Claw. So if we pull this up, it's actually interacting with WhatsApp and it's actually created a web page for the new update from Open Claw.

The final thing that you can use it for is actually browser use, right? So you can actually search for a product on Amazon and get Quen to operate your browser as you can see right here. So there's all sorts of crazy stuff that's going on with this. You can code with it, too. And um it's a really exciting model. I mean Qua always coming out with new interesting stuff. Bear in mind Quenna are owned by uh Alibaba, but a lot of people are raving about it and it literally just came out today. So if you haven't already, definitely check it out. It's worth just looking at the benchmarks alone to see what's going on here. And the fact that they've included Open Claw inside the demos as well is kind of indicative of where this stuff is going.
