How to setup Openclaw in 5 mins

Today we're going to be looking at the infamous, the renowned malt book. So, if you've not checked this out already, basically what's happening is these AI agents, and I'm still trying to get med around it, uh, are taking over the internet on a Reddit style social media. So, we're going to be looking at that. I actually need to uh set up Claudebar from scratch today because I am setting up on a new Mac Studio. So, we'll come

on to that. We'll probably look at different ways you can set it up and stuff like that today as well, which should be fun. Um, we're going to get straight into this. So, if you've never used Open Claw before, CL, you know, Maltbot, Malt Book, Claudebot, however you want to refer to it. Um, we're going to be looking at the best ways to use it, how to get it set up, etc. And we'll go from there. So, it was previously no named as clawbot, then it changed to maltbot, and open claw. So, open claw is

changed to open claw. So, open claw is the latest name. It's changed its name three times in one week, which is uh always a bit strange, but you know, why not? And we're going to run this through Claude and say how to set this up. Do you know what? I'm even actually I'm going to go one step further here. into sub uh terminal and run claw code

and then claw code can help me set it up. Again, I'm on a brand new laptop, so it's pretty good to just install this stuff all over again to get the party started. If you've never set up claw code, this is how you do it. It's pretty simple and easy. Just going to do the oorthth. Okay. Boom. Shakalaka. Now, we're going to start installing OpenClaw. Remember the days when you have to figure out how to use uh how to use terminal if you couldn't code. So, we're just waiting for developer tools set up there. What we got in the questions? Ki says

I think it's actually good to install like the new version of open claw because it it'll probably have some features that we didn't have before with clawbot and uh I didn't switch everything over and obviously if you switch even if you install clawbot then you'd have to install open uh moldbot and then you'd have to install open claw so sometimes just good to start from scratch and set up uh open claw from the basics so let's get straight into this we'll take this command go straight in the terminal developer tools still downloading open up a new window. Okay, that's not worked. We got to wait for developer tools. Okay, great. Hey says make a

tutorial to exact way to connect anti-gravity and open core. Wouldn't recommend it. Honestly, the problem with connecting it depends. I've got videos on YouTube, so I've already made tutorials on it. One thing that I wouldn't recommend is I don't recommend the OOTH with anti-gravity, right? If you do anti-gravity oorthth login and then try and use those tokens directly on open claw, it broke for me and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone. Um, actually create a lot of work trying to reinstall it. If you want to connect open claw and use it say inside telegram but open up anti-gravity, I've got tutorials already inside the AR profit boardroom and on YouTube on exactly how to do that. So, if you go to the AR profit boarding right here, go to mold book and uh we have loads of trainings on anti-gravity and how to make it work with uh mold book. But yeah, you can just say like, okay, open up um anti-gravity locally for me and it will actually do it. I've got a few video tutorials on that. says, "What kind of hardware we require to start or if we require a new machine or existing? " Yeah. So, to be very clear, you don't need a new machine to do this. You can run it on an old laptop. I wouldn't recommend running it on a VPS. And what I'd recommend instead is that you just install it locally. You can do that on an old laptop. You know, it doesn't have to be anything too powerful. Connect it to Telegram and then it's running in the cloud once it's connected to Telegram. So, I would say personally that's the best way to do it. Thank you, buddy. All right.
