Introduction and Initial Setup

Like I was messaging you and obviously I had tried to change the API from Claude to the one I was using now. Z. AI is probably not going to end up going well. — Yeah, this literally it was like working so well and then it totally messed up as soon as I switched to Miniax or anti-gravity. — Yeah. So, one thing that I have been

Memory File Setup and LLM Hot Swapping

recommended by people is I don't know if you've done this is you can set up like a memory MD file like on your desktop or wherever and that's where you want to spend like a lot of time on. So, like telling it like what time you wake up, what brands you've got, what businesses you're involved with, what you do, email lists, everything like that. Cuz then if you swap from one LLM to another, it can basically go and read that be like, "All right, okay. I know who Julian Goldie is. " Ah, that makes sense. So you can like basically — you can hot swap LLMs basically. — So you can save like the API keys and then go okay switch to this, switch to that blah blah. — You Yeah, you could theoretically do that as well. I don't know if you have got a let me show you. So if I I'll do is add to favorites. So I'm able to share my screen, right? So out of

Messaging Platforms and API Costs

curiosity, Julian, where have you got it? Where are you messaging it? Do you message it from chat from WhatsApp or Telegram? — I'm using Telegram right now just because I don't want to be sharing my WhatsApp with my grandma and everyone on there. — I've got it on Telegram cuz it might be using less API credits. — Oh, no. I didn't even think about that — cuz I was testing this earlier this morning, right? And when I was on Claude 4. 0, it was like 60 per message, which equates to like 30 p. I got it to do 10 tasks this morning. And it cost me like $6 and I'm like that guy can't be on. But I've also got this and I think you would probably quite like this. You set setting the alarms off.

Task Management with Trello and Daily Trackers

— Yeah. So I've got it to do like a I don't know if you've ever used Trello, right? But like I can track what it does. So this is the Max's tasks for the day. So set up Claudebot with Telegram, research 18 SEO video topic ideas, build a task board, set up WhatsApp integration. So, like I can see what it's done for the day as well. — Wow, that's insane. How do you do that? — Once we've got your Clogbot working again, what we can do is we can This is a really simple prompt. Literally, all you say is, "Hey, I need to track your tasks for the day. Can you create me like a Trello board design and then it can save all of the tasks? " What I've also done since this is I've also given it like a daily tracker as well. So, like you can select the date. So if you're referencing something in 3 weeks time, you can say, "Hey, do you remember how you done that task on the 26th of January, can you update that file for me? " And then that way, because what you typically find is after maybe an hour's worth of going back and forth, it does tend to forget certain stuff. Not all the time, but very fine details. So this way it keeps track of everything. — That makes total sense cuz you can also save stuff as skills, but I find like it's still not at the level I want it. For example, designing thumbnails, it's just not quite there. — Yeah. Uh, so earlier this morning we

Exploring Different LLMs and Their Costs

were chatting and I moved from Claude Opus to XAI. I believe it's called X or Z. AI. This is like the Chinese one. And it was funny cuz when I searched these guys, your video actually came up. Zai, was it Z. A? — Yeah, I know these guys. — So these guys, the API is really cheap. Like if I just log into my account really quickly. I'm just I'm trying to make certain that I'm not giving away like an API key or anything. It works out to be like $90 for the quarter. Let's see here. Yeah. So, this is their pricing model and it's just disappeared. Come on. API there. Why? What is this doing? Let's see. API. I don't know why this is not It's like redirecting me. Could you not redirect me? Oh, there we go. So, you can get the quarterly package for $180. I got this. But if you actually take a look at the LLM's LLM chart, like the it's not that low down. So if we take a look at this, right, you've got obviously if I scroll all the way to the top, you've got GBT 5. 2 right at the top. But this is like what I was taking a look at cuz I want like a blended mix of I don't want the cheapest LLM and I also don't want the most expensive. So if we take a look at Z AI, where is it now? ZI. Why is it not is this not got the Chinese ones? Yeah. So, Z GLM 4. 7, it's actually ranked number six. So, it's just under Sonnet 4. 5 and it's 60 cents per input, whereas 4. 5 Sonnet is $3 per input. So, it does stack up when you're getting it to do the tasks. One thing I will be brutally honest about is once I have changed to the GLM 4. 7, it has Max has drastically become a lot stupider. — Yeah, that's what I found. Literally, as soon as I switched, it was like boom, it's broken. — Out of curiosity, what's on yours? What has broken? — It's actually stopped replying. — Oh, really? — Yeah. That's not good.

Troubleshooting and Reinstalling Claude Bot

— I'm going to try it again. is you can run the demo again like the onboarding demo and it does fix that because that's what happened to mine where it was just like hey I don't have an API don't talk to me almost — a local machine if that makes sense — so if you were to get it to I don't know let's say you asked hey what's your clawbot called have you given it a name — yeah no I haven't actually — all right hey Mr. robot. Go and find me 10 video ideas on YouTube to do with AI. Right now on my Mac Mini, it actually opens up the browser and goes to YouTube. What does that look like for you? Does it actually do that live or does it do it in the background? — Yeah, so actually do it will pop up like a window, like a totally separate window on like Chromium or something and then just start using it that way instead. — I see. Okay. Yeah, that makes sense. — This is still even after the fresh reinstall, it's still totally broken. — Wow. Okay. — It was crazy. — Yeah, that's a bit of a weird one really

Live Demonstration and Task Automation

cuz you should be able to what I could do is if you want to like show like a demo of it, I can do like a team viewer into my Mac Mini and we can show like the UI and stuff on there if you want. And then we'll tap into Little Max as I like to call it. He used to be Big Max, but now he's Little Max. — Since he became Mini Max — since he went to I keep forgetting the name of that LLM, the Chinese LLM. It's just not as superior as claw. It's a lot more cost effective. — It's GLM, right? That's the one. — Yeah. Z. AI is the website. G. Yeah, GLM. — Yeah. — But what does make me excited about this is like right now the one constraint that we both have is probably the cost of the API, right? Which is obviously going to become cheaper with more LLMs improving and stuff like that. So like in six months time, 4. 5 would be able to do everything for pennies. — Yeah. which is crazy to think about, right? — Yeah. So, — stream surface says, "What's the error? " I think it's like something to do with the gateway when I check I'm going to check the gateway status in terminal, but you carry on. — So, let me move over to I just need to get my team viewer username and password and then we'll set this up. Okay. — It's weird now cuz it feels like I'm entering like the main frame cuz I've got two keyboards, two mouse, four desktops. It's just getting out of hand. It's hard to know what's going on, isn't it? I thought the same. And then when you're trying to share your screen as well, you're like, what's so — what are we doing here? Do — you know what? I think you should rename the title of this live stream to two idiots using Claudebot. Right. So device, can I log to Max and log on? Right. So I should be able to share my screen again. Share screen. Start. There we go. So if you can add that to the stage now. I think that's your screen now. I can see. Let me try and add this. Oh, I know why. I have to remove mine and then I can add yours. — We go. Is the quality all good? Yeah. Perfect. So, this is basically what Julian's Claude bot should look like. I'm running it currently on Z AI and basically this is the prompt that I use. So, initially I was using clog, but I very quickly realized that it was very expensive. And then two, it just made no sense cuz if you actually done the averages, it was probably going to cost around $130 to $200 a day, which in that case, you may as well just go and hire below the VAS. So, I'm currently using Z AI, and I did show the pricing before. So, that's what I'm using. you get the clawed control bot. So if you are on the desktop and stuff, you can go back and forth with it on here. Like I've named mine Mac. So I can say, "Hey, we are currently live streaming. Say hi to the viewers. " In some cases, it likes to be fancy and it'll send like a voice note and stuff, but because I'm using the Clawbot control, it's probably just going to reply back with just a regular text. Now, I have got it to do a few different things, so I don't actually have Excel open, but I got it to create a list of podcast guests, which is basically what it's done here. And it basically like just created like a list of people that I could get on my podcast like Corey, Steven Kang, BB, Wes McDonald, Jake Ward. I also did specify that I don't want like really high big names like for example Rand Fishkin because he probably might not be interested in jumping on a podcast. So it was able to find that out pretty well. What I've also done as well is with my Max, he's got like a to-do list, so I could add stuff to his to-do list or I could send it in like a message saying, "Hey, Max, remember you need to do this thumbnail or whatever. " And he'll basically move that over from his to-do to his doing. So, like for example, if I do create YouTube thumbnails, so that gets put in his to-do list. If you give him a task like this, you do need to prompt him inside Claudebot or you can just message him on WhatsApp. So, I've got mine connected to WhatsApp and it basically does all these tasks. So, these are all the tasks that click done. So, he set up Claudebot with Telegram. He researched 18 SEO video topic ideas last night. He built this task board. He set up WhatsApp integration. He created the memory system. This is something I highly recommend people to do as well, which I'll touch on in just a second. And he's also fixed the task board because previously it just had tasks for Max whereas I wanted tasks for me as well so he can assign me tasks to do. The memory

Memory System and API Key Management

system is probably one of the most important things that I would recommend even to you Julian because you what you can do and I don't know where he stores it. Might be like in documents or something. What you can basically do is he that's probably the thing that I spend the most time on because I'll say to him like, "Hey, this is my weekly schedule. This is the time that I wake up. I go to sleep. I do daily SEO videos. I've got a mailing list. I've got a conference. " Blahy blah. The more information that you can give the memory, the better. Because in your case, Julian, when you're moving from one LLM to another, you can literally just say, "Hey, go and read that memory file. It's got everything that you need to know about me and it will basically it's like a rapid fire on who Julian Goldie is. So let's say in five months time when chat GBT's got the better LLM and you want to use that AI or that API sorry you can very quickly just swap from one to another basically and what you were saying before you can also add in like the API keys and stuff like that as well. — Ah but yeah let's give it a task. I do think that with Z. AI AI it is a lot like it's not as smart as it is like if I say can you go to my Twitter and give me links to my last four tweets. Let's see if it can do that. Now Claude would have been able to do this very quickly and easily with ZAI. I do have my doubts. I wonder have you used OpenAI with this yet? No, but I heard some people saying the codeex is really good to run it with. And if you're on the pro plan, it doesn't cost anything extra. Something like that. — How much is the pro plan? — I think it might be 200 a month. — For 200 a month, if it could do like the daily tasks, uploading videos to your Twitter from your YouTube channel, scheduling in meetings, replying to emails and stuff like I would say it's worth it. And this will probably actually get all the tasks done. So, this is just hanging on me. So, one thing that I will say is when it's flashing red, it does mean that it's doing something. So, let's not cut to conclusions just yet, but so far for the viewers, you've probably just watched an hour and maybe 20 minutes of us breaking our claw bots, and we're none the wiser. — Yeah, this was I really wish I didn't mess around with it today, but sometimes that just happens. What I might do is install it on a totally different laptop and then reconnect it to Telegram. — Yeah, that would probably be my go-to. Or what you could do is you could potentially set it up on a Hetsner VPS. I've heard that that's $5 a month for something relatively cheap. — Oh yeah, there's one like that for you can use AWS, right? And it's got like a free version or something like that. — Yes. Yeah. There was a few people mentioning that as well. And to my knowledge, like this machine doesn't actually use that much RAM or usage and stuff like that because all it's doing is it's just calling on APIs, — right? Yeah. Like even right now, I've just told it like go to my Twitter and get me f five of the last tweets that I've done and like this is just basic browsing. You don't need like a stupidly overpowered VPS for this. — Yeah, this is just super basic stuff, isn't it? Like you could do it with a even a Chrome extension. That's the other thing that I set up was a Chrome extension before for this. — Yeah. One thing that I would probably start doing now that I've seen yours in action is I would probably set up like a almost like a mini folder like hard drive where it just stores all of its data cuz if it does go awall and you need to set it up again, you've at least got that backup there. — Yeah. Yeah, that's true. I actually got it working again now. — All right, perfect. — Wow, that was — What was wrong with it? — I don't know. Like when you go on those crazy terminal rampages. — Yeah. and you're just like, "Okay, what are we doing here? " Let me see. I can probably scroll up the terminal now cuz it's got my bot tokens for Telegram. Don't want to be sharing those. — But that was basically I had to uninstall it, reinstall it, run. I think if you have any troubles with it, if people watching and they're like, "Okay, I can't set this up or I'm struggling. " Just keep copying and pasting from bot with the errors to Claude, past in the GitHub documentation, and then just circle through that for 20 minutes. That's what I just did. Are you using clawed opus now? — Yeah. — What's So, let's do this because I think this would be quite an interesting test. When I was testing out before, it cost me 64 cents per WhatsApp message. Just uh hey, what's my daily tasks? Are you able to do that? And let's see how much it costs you because I think now the whole the fun about this is trying to lower your API costs because now everyone's okay, I've installed Claw Pop. How can I get this to do all my tasks in the most cheapest effective way possible? — Yeah, I see what you mean. — By the way, Z Z Z Z Z. AI just completely fell over. — All right, I'm just going to put some stuff in the chat now so it because it's got my pairing code on Telegram. — So, I'm just going to keep posting in the chat. I'm going to say write a long poem so that it covers all the previous chat with my tokens. — Yeah, you don't want that getting out. — No, — what I will do is I will I'll stop remove my screen from the stage. So then you can take stage. — That was really good of you to do that, man. Appreciate that. — No worries, man. Came in. — You just don't know. You just don't know what's going to pop up when you're sharing your screen. Could be an — I done a live stream for the first time. I think it was like last week or two weeks ago, and I forgot how easy it is to like pause Loom when you're doing like daily videos, but like when you're live, you're like, "Oh, this is like WhatsApp chat between me and my mom," for example. So yeah, you don't want that leaking. That's why I didn't set it up directly with WhatsApp because I was like my granddad could message me or my grandma messages me halfway through. It just wouldn't be good. Right. — So I've got Max on its own WhatsApp. — Ah. — So like for example, if I set him up on my WhatsApp like when we were messaging, he's just going to take control and just Yeah, I know Julian. Hey, how you doing, mate? He's just going to take over my life. — How do I see the Corsair then? — So it should be on billing. I've got I've sent you a link in the private. — Yeah, sec. — There we go. So, I'll keep a note of that. — All right, then. So, should we just do something basic? — What's my daily tasks? Something really basic. — All right. What should I do today? — It's going to come back saying you should fix me, mate. — Shut down Claudebot. All right. So, it's message there. It cost what? 2 cents for that message. — How is so much cheaper than mine? — What does this mean? Like, it's it wants to use Is this good? Should I Oh, you can't see that, I don't think. Yeah. So, it's costing. Yeah, it's costing a few cent each post. — So, what I would do here now is Oh, it's typing. What? Why is it typing? It's had some second faults. It's — It said, "Mate, your calendar is empty. You got You're doing nothing today. That's what you're doing, son. " So what I would do now if I was you is I would set up like the memory MD because then if say for example I don't know your MacBook goes corrupt or it loses whatever — and I would fill this up with as much information as you want people to know about you online. — Okay. So I'm just going to say okay I'm setting up a memory ID memory MD with a new LLM. give me plenty of info about me based on what hopefully it doesn't give anything crazy. You just don't know. You just don't know what it's going to come up with on the live stream. There we go. Look in a relationship. — Is that correct? I don't know. — That is correct. But yeah. — Yeah. — Do not suggest it. It said something. Do not suggest. — I don't even know. I don't want to I'm going to open that up in a separate tab and see what it actually suggested there. It could be anything. There we go. Right. No, it's safe. do not [clears throat] suggest reducing video output or slowing down content creation. It sometimes says, "You need to slow down, mate. Stop creating so many videos. " And I'm like, even Claude says, "I should do less videos. " Yeah, — I remember I got Chat GBT to roast me and it said, "Mate, you need to slow down on your YouTube videos as well. " So, even Chat GBT is roasting me. At least wait some time for people to view video A to then for you to upload video B. So, I think it's a normal thing.

Viewer Questions and Final Thoughts

— All right, we got some good questions. Uh, so Mike says, "Love the chat. Love the channel. You saved me so much research time. " And by the way, if you like my content, check out Kaz because he's got a great channel, too. Mike says, "Help me out. What's the main benefit beside chat apps? You can retain memory, but can it post to Facebook for you? Open versus code. What's the difference here? Cas would you say? " — I would say that like with chat GBT, right? It only starts talking to you once you have spoke to it. Hey, like you say, hey, create me a YouTube video idea. And then it will think and it'll come back saying, "Hey, you should do a video on clog or SEO or whatever. " Whereas with this, I would say this is probably the closest thing that we have currently, Gent AI, where it remembers certain stuff. So, for example, I don't know if you were listening before, but I was telling Julian that before I went to sleep last night, I said, "Hey, I wake up at 5:00 a. m. Can you give me some video ideas around 5:30? " because that's when I'm like driving and like I that that's when I like to box certain stuff off. So, it basically pinged me a message at 5:30 and it was it gave me free video ideas, some thumbnail ideas. It was also working throughout the night where it found like podcast guests that I want on my channel as well. So, it done like a lot of stuff. It can basically with this because it lives on an actual computer, the capabilities are a lot more. So, it can organize files for you. You can set up like an email address for it so it can schedule meetings and stuff. It can tap into Google Sheets, Google Drive, etc. — Yeah. Yeah, that's it. And I would say the other thing that I found is like you can throw an API key at it and it can just go off and do it like Okay, — 50/50 on that one. May — maybe with your GLM with GLM is like 50/50 — and yeah, kind of got stuck. But I would say out of I reckon out of like 10 API keys, it's probably got six or seven of them correct. It's just been like the two or three where it's kind of messed up on which is it's a great success rate cuz I don't have a clue where to put these API keys. No idea. — Yeah. Yeah, that's it. It's like where do you put them? What do you do with them? Etc. — Yeah. How's your memory MD coming along? — It's going good. I'm actually I'm adding 11 Labs API key and it's already created the memory MD. I've added AI Studio for generating images again now too. — Okay, that's good. — So, it's getting there and then I'll show it in the chat quickly now as well. You've probably got stuff to do as well today. You know, — I kind of want to do a separate video after this with yourself where we compare my SEO knowledge to AI's SEO knowledge. If you've got I reckon it'll be like a quick 15minute video. I think that would be quite a good comparison cuz while you're doing your AI thing, I can do you doing like the boring mundane stuff that everyone already knows and then we can compare the output at the end. — Let's do that now. If it's a quick 15 minute one, we'll jump on that and yeah, appreciate everyone watching the live stream today. — Yeah, thanks. Thanks for watching, guys. — All right. What's the best way to get in touch casing — with Claudebot? Maxcas. com. No, you can subscribe to my YouTube channel or Twitter. I'm fairly active on both somewhat active on LinkedIn as well. So, yeah, Casra dash. Anywhere. We've actually got a after this coming out very shortly, we've got a Claudebot three-hour course coming out later today. So, if you like Claudeb and you like to see it before it stopped working, check that course out. — You've got to love. — Let's do this video and then I'm going to go to sleep. — All right, mate. Cheers.
