New FREE Chinese AI Agent DESTROYS Elevenlabs?

So today we're going to be looking at this free voice cloning agent called Quen. And this is essentially something that could do similar things to 11 Labs, but you can use it for free to clone your own voice or design voices as you can see right here. So you can actually load in an audio file directly inside here, type in the text you want to use, and then from here clone and generate an output. So let's test this out. I'm going to get an audio file from one of my most recent videos and then we'll download that and plug it into Quen and try and clone my voice. I'm just going to take a quick short clip to do this. So, let's take this one like so. Then we'll load it into Quen. Now, Quen traditionally is a chat style AI. So, it's going to be interesting to see how this performs. We'll just play back the audio here. Make sure it worked properly. There we go. All right. And then we can add the transcript of the reference audio if we want to. So, let's copy that. Plug it in here. And then inside this section, we'll say, okay, I like wearing orange hats cuz who doesn't, right? Then we're going to click on clone. See how this performs. And we've cloned the voice. That was really fast. — I like wearing orange hats. — Wow. And it actually works perfectly. — That's so good. That's what you got to bear in mind like if I create uh I'm going to play back the 11 laps and you'll see how this performs side by side. Right. So 11 laps is a tool that I pay for quen. This is a free tool we've just used online. So let's go to Texas speech here and we'll take my pro voice. That's the clone this one. All right. And we'll generate the speech and see side by side which one. This is crazy. So this is 11 Labs. Listen to this. — That doesn't sound as realistic as this one. So, let's play this back again. — I would say this just sounds a lot more like me in terms of my accent. Um, I think it's quite difficult sometimes for AI to replicate an English accent, but it seems to have done it perfectly. And that was really easy to do. Let's see. Let's try something else now. So, we'll copy this text and we'll use them both side by side with 11 Labs versus Quen. So, we've got the same text plugged into Quen as we have with 11 Labs. We'll see which one number one generates faster and then also which one generates the most realistic option. is actually amazing for generating AI voices and replicating. — Now, I would say that 11 Labs is way faster when it comes to actually replicating the voice and cloning it, but it doesn't sound that realistic. Let's listen to the rest of it. — It just doesn't sound that right, right? It doesn't sound like um me really. Now, let's go over to Quen and we'll play this back. — AI voices and replicating my voice, but is it really? The only thing I would say is it's still not 10 out of 10, but it's closer than 11 laps. So, you know, it's genuinely a really powerful model. Quick and easy to use. You can design a voice, you can clone a voice, or you can use a custom voice as well with predefined speakers and optional sound instructions, right? So, you can see here, for example, you can switch between different speakers like Dylan. Um, and then you can type in the [clears throat] text you actually want to use. Hit generate speech. You can also choose your style instructions. So you could say okay speak cheerfully or speak um excited or whatever it is and change the tonality. Now you can see for a simple sentence it does take 23 seconds but you know if you wanted to generate a longer sentence or a longer paragraph you could always just come back to it later. So let's play that back now. — AI is actually amazing for generating AI voices and replicating my voice. But is it really better than using 11? — See like even the fact that it's got the end of the sentence and then it just stops right there and pauses. Right. It's pretty cool. So, let's try this out now. We're going to say excited plus fun. Let's see generate speech and see if it creates a different style versus the original. Now, also what's pretty cool here, for example, you see this tweet by Adib, you can actually use a speech generation model and then build an app around it, right? So, you can create your own voice cloning apps uh using this free model and then build whatever you want with it, which is pretty insane, right? And you can see here, this was just announced a day or so ago. You got five different models. You can use it for free. State-of-the-art performance. You can get it on GitHub, hugging face, etc. And uh it really is an impressive model. So, let's see what we get back on this one. — Is actually amazing for generating AI voices and replicating my voice. 11 — and then you can also download that or you can share the link as well. All right. So, you can actually share the output um and download it too. On the voice design here too, you can actually describe how you want the voice to be and then design someone's voice right here. So what this will do is design a voice using the description. You can set the language here. So you could do like for example Chinese or English or Japanese or whatever you want. And then here's the actual text that you would use to create this. Right? If we play this back now, — it's in the top drawer. Wait, it's empty. No way. THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE. I'M SURE I PUT IT THERE. — RIGHT. And then I mean that's like a professional voiceover, right? It's pretty insane. Ola says, "How many steps you do in a day usually? " Honestly

mate, I'm the other day I got 36,000 steps. I don't know if you can see that on my phone, but yeah, it was insane. So, that's basically how to use this. Now, some people say, you know, voice cloning requires technical setup and perfect audio samples, but this is so simple. You know, the barrier to voice AI just collapsed from needing audio engineering skills to you can just record this on your phone, right? And that's like going from needing a professional photo studio to just using your iPhone camera. So, you can clone any voice perfectly from 3 seconds of messy audio recorded on your phone with zero technical knowledge required. Other people say, "Well, AI voices sound robotic and fake. " Not really, compared to that example that I created. And yeah, in 2023, yes, AI voices sounded like robots reading grocery lists. But now the game has changed completely with Quen 3 TTS. And I would say AI voices in 2026 are sometimes indistinguishable from humans. And the free models now match or beat the expensive ones in these tests, right? So really powerful stuff.
