Intro: Stitch MCP Update

New Stitch MCP server update is insane. Google just handed AI agents a design degree. No joke. Your coding assistant can now see designs, grab real UI code, and build screens from scratch. This is absolutely nuts. Design just became programmable infrastructure. And I'm about to show you exactly how this changes everything. Google Stitch just dropped something crazy. And I mean crazy. They turned a design tool into something that makes your AI coding agents way smarter. like giving them eyes and hands and a brain that understands design. Let me explain what

What is MCP?

just happened. Stitch is no longer just a design tool. It's now a remote MCP server. MCP stands for model context protocol. And if you don't know what that is, don't worry. I'll break it down super simple. MCP is basically the way AI tools talk to real systems. It's becoming the standard and Stitch just plugged right into it. So, what does this actually mean? Your AI coding agent can now see designs. It can fetch real UI code. It can generate brand new screens. All without you leaving your coding editor. No more jumping between tools. No more copy paste nonsense. No more converting files manually. The old way was this. Design something, export it, copy it, paste it, convert it to code, then fix all the broken stuff. The new way is this prompt. Done. That's it. That's the whole workflow now. This update connects three different worlds. Design lives in Stitch. AI agents live in tools like cursor, anti-gravity, claude, and Gemini CLI. Your actual code lives in React, HTML, Tailwind, whatever you use. And now all three of those worlds talk to each other automatically through MCP. This is not just a UI update. This is infrastructure. This is how modern AI tooling gets built. And it's happening right now. Hey, if we haven't met already, I'm the digital avatar of Julian Goldie, CEO of SEO agency, Goldie Agency. whilst he's helping clients get more leads and customers. Core Features & Visual Awareness

this update does. First, it lets you go from design to code inside your IDE. That's your coding editor. You can fetch HTML for any screen. Tailwind config is included. You can convert it to React, View, Flutter, whatever you need instantly. Second, you can generate brand new screens just by typing what you want. There's a tool called generate screen from text. It's powered by Gemini 3 Pro or Gemini 3 Flash and it's fully contextaware. It knows about your projects. screens. It understands what you're building. Third, your agents now have visual awareness. You can literally say convert the checkout screen to React components and the agent knows exactly what that screen is. It can see it. It can understand it. It can work with it. This is the big shift. We went from texton agents to design aware agents. That's massive. Fourth, this is a remote MCP server and that part is important. Most MCP servers read local files. They run scripts on your computer. Stitch MCP lives in the cloud. It uses Google Cloud authentication. It has permissionbased access. It's scoped to your projects. This is how enterprisegrade AI tooling works. This is the real deal. And here's

Tool Compatibility & Setup

the best part. This works with basically every major tool. cursor anti-gravity VS code claude code Gemini CLI any MCP compatible agent stitch is agent agnostic it's not locked to one platform it plays nice with everything now let me explain how you actually set this up I'm not going to show you every command but I want you to understand the logic because the logic is what matters one is Google Cloud SDK why do you need this because it's a secure authentication layer. It's how you prove you're actually you. It's the trusted identity system. Without it, none of this works safely. Step two is double authentication. You log in as the user. Your ID or agent logs in as the application. This ensures that the agent acting is actually you. It's not some random bot. It's your authenticated session doing the work. Step three is enabling the Stitch MCP API. This is project level access. You're giving explicit service permissions. You're telling Google Cloud exactly what this tool can touch and what it can. Step four is generating secrets. You need your project ID. You need a short-lived access token. These tokens last about 1 hour, then they expire. For now, you have to refresh them manually. That's a little annoying, but it's also super secure. Step five is connecting your MCP clients. Could be cursor, could be anti-gravity, could be VS Code, could be Claude, could be Gemini CLI. whatever you use, you plug in your credentials and boom, you're connected. One important thing to know, those tokens expire every hour. You have to refresh them manually, at least for now. Maybe they'll automate that later, but right now, that's the trade-off for security. Now, if you want to learn how to use tools like Google Stitch to automate your business, save hundreds of hours, and get more customers with AI, you need to check out my AI profit boardroom. And trust me, if this Stitch update got you excited, you're going to love what we're building inside the boardroom. Let me show you what tools are actually

Available Tools & Gemini Models

available in Stitch MCP. For project management, you can create projects, you can list projects, you can get project details. For screen management, you can list screens, you can get individual screens. For design generation, you can generate screens from text. and you pick your model, Gemini 3 Pro or Gemini 3 Flash. So what does this actually enable? With Stitch MCP, AI agents can now understand UI structure, not just code. They can reason about screens as real entities. They can treat design like a first class input. They can automate UI workflows end to end. Design is no longer a static artifact. It's now a live system. You can query it, you can program it, you can automate it. That's the shift. That's what makes this insane. Let me zoom out for a second.
6:04

Design as Programmable Infrastructure

This is what AI native product development looks like. Stitch MCP turns design into an API. And once design becomes an API, everything changes. Agents can reason about it. Agents can automate it. Agents can build end to end without you babysitting every step. This is the future of how software gets made. Design teams and dev teams are no longer separate worlds. They're connected through infrastructure, through automation, through AI. Think about what this means for your workflow. You sketch a screen. Your agent sees it. Your agent converts it to code. Your agent builds the components. Your agent handles the styling. Your agent does the responsive design. All from one prompt. All in your IDA. No context switching. No manual work. The really smart teams are going to jump on this fast because this is a competitive advantage. While everyone else is still manually converting designs, you're automating the whole thing. While everyone else is context switching between tools, you're working in one place. While everyone else is copying and pasting, you're prompting and shipping. And this is just the beginning. MCP is becoming the standard. More tools are going to plug into it. More capabilities are going to get added. More automation is going to become possible. Stitch just showed everyone how it's done. Design just became infrastructure. It's not a deliverable anymore. It's a system. It's an API. It's part of your codebase. That's the mental shift you need to make because once you see it that way, you start building differently. Your agents get smarter. Your workflows get faster. Your output gets better. and your competitors are still doing things the old way. That's the opportunity right now. Now, if you want to learn how to
