It was the second most popular AI tool after chat GPT. But images created inside of MidJourney look very hyperrealistic. They almost look like a photograph or a drawing or a painting or whatever you choose...style. And they have ton of different editing options. And one of the most interesting options with MidJourney is you could upscale your creation right inside of the chat. So you don't have to use any other software. Okay, next up we have the release of MidJourney V7 that came out end of last week. So it didn't make it into the cut off for last week's video so we will feature it here. H this was a very anticipated release. Everybody was looking forward to Midjourney making the next big move in the AI image...right now. But that happening around 2 weeks after Chat GPT released their image generation feature that went gigafiral, probably the most significant mainstream AI moment this year. Midjourney adding a few features that I'll talk about here briefly just didn't cut it for most people. And I think it does make a lot of sense
first one is idiogram is actually the most popular on my list but is still far less popular than midjourney and the image generation inside of chat GPT and you could basically generate all kinds of different images here but is specifically good at text and I think it beats midjourney and chat GPT when it comes to generating images...right, but it got in the second try the spelling right, too. So, when it comes to creating images with text, I think definitely beats out MidJourney and Chat
model, and it just came out. is their smartest model ever. And here's what makes it different. Most AI tools do one thing. Chat GPT does text. Midjourney does images. Runway does video. To check those type setting here we can select the model that we want for our M journey and so many other like stylus. Styus low, medium or high. Controls the amount...that, it'll give us a varied image. Then we have different modes. Relax mode, fast mode and turbo mode. All these three modes define the speed at which midjourney will generate your images. For relax mode, it will generate very slow. But for fast mode, it will use your fast but will generate faster. And for turbo mode, your
pretty insane stuff. It's the first open AI image model with native reasoning. So, it actually thinks about what you want before generating the image. We also have MidJourney V8 Alpha. So, this was recently launched as well. And I'd say that if you want something that looks really designed or polished or like editorial quality, then Midjourney...Idog. Yeah, there's too many to talk about. Those are the main ones. Personally, I would use chat GPT for convenience and text and images. I'd use MidJourney for art. I'd use Flux for photos or things that need to look extremely real. Yeah, it's just crazy how far we've come with AI image generation

All right, so the next release from this week would be MidJourney's Omni Reference, a feature that allows you to give it one image and then reference that image in your next creations. very convenient and spoiler the main use for this is really product photography because as you might know when it comes to mid Journey they...become really good at that over the course of history. I mean, it's no coincidence that the first image they picked here, the guy actually has glasses on midjourney. He's just not that good at redoing faces. So I don't think that's the main selling point of this image. As you can see, some of their
render times, and superior control over camera movements where Sora wins slightly more photorealistic and complex physics scenarios. Both models are evolving fast, so this comparison reflects October 2025. MidJourney V6, still the king of prompt interpretation. If you write a complex detailed prompt like a steampunk airship docking at a floating city during golden hour, Victorian architecture, intricate breast...details, passengers disembarking, midjourney, will understand every word and compose a coherent image. Other models might miss details or misinterpret relationships. Flux, my go-to for illustrations and stylized images. If you want concept art, character designs, or anything with a painterly aesthetic, Flux nails it. It's also fast, 5 to 8 seconds for most fonts. Great for iteration
Midjourney is still around and they just released Niji V7. This model is fine-tuned for anime and they also have a video model, don't forget. So, this is just showing off some of those new anime generation capabilities with Niji V7. This is a little bit more specialized, so that's why I'm talking about...haven't really kept up or followed MidJourney since V7. they have fallen behind especially for a lot of realworld workflows. They're more focused on aesthetics, I think, and capturing different styles. I'm not saying that they have no place as an AI image generator. I'm just not so sure if they're on the bleeding edge
