Neo is the AI-native browser built by Norton that summarizes your tabs, writes with you, remembers your context, and keeps your data private — all for free. This one surprised me. Picture this. You open your browser to do something simple. Research a topic, draft an email, look something up. 10 minutes later, you're staring at 27 tabs, three different AI tools open in separate windows, and you've completely forgotten what you were actually trying to do. That's modern browsing. It's not a you problem, it's a browser problem. AI is literally everywhere right now, but it almost never shows up in the moment you actually need it. It's always one more click away, one more copy paste, one more window switch. So, today I'm testing something that claims to fix all of that. This is Neo, an AI native browser built by the team behind Norton, and I'm going to find out if it can actually replace Chrome as my daily driver. Let me show you what a normal research session looks like for me, and probably for you, too. I got five tabs open already, and I haven't done anything yet. Now, let's say I want to actually use AI to help me. Where is it? It's over here in a sidebar that I have to manually open or I switch over to chat GBT in a different tab or I go to a completely separate app. Every time you switch context, you lose momentum. You lose the thread of what you were doing and the AI doesn't even know what's on the screen anymore. You have to explain it from scratch every single time. That's the core problem. Most AI tools are additions to the browser. Neo rebuilds the browser around AI, so the help is already there before you even think to ask for it. All right, let's get into it. The first thing you'll notice in Neo is the magic box. This isn't just an address bar. You can type a URL, sure, but you can also type a question. You can type a task. You can say summarize these tabs. And Neo just does it. It understands intent, not just syntax. Now, let's say I've been doing some research and I've got multiple tabs open on a topic. Watch this. I can open the AI side panel right here. It pulls context from what's on my screen and gives me a summary. I can ask it questions, key points, whatever I need. No need to copy paste and no need to switch apps. It just knows what I'm looking at. And here's one of my favorite features, peak and summarize. I hover over this link and before I even click, Neil gives me a preview. Is this source worth clicking? Is it actually relevant? I can tell instantly. This alone saves me so much time. One thing I really want to call out, when Neil gives you a summary or answer, it shows you the sources. You can see exactly where the information came from. And that transparency is really important. Okay. When you're in a normal browser like Chrome, what you'll notice is that you can see at the top I got a bunch of tabs open. And it kind of gets messy. You might be, you know, like for example me, I have a AI YouTube channel, so I might be doing some AI research on one side and I could be doing some other random things. For example, let's say I'm interested in making bread, fkatcha bread. I might have a recipe page open, looking at this recipe. This bread kind of looks sick, not going to lie. And I've used this recipe before. It's pretty good. So, if you want it, I can put that in the link as well. But anyways, and then you might be like searching things up for gym clothes or things like that. And everything starts to get quite messy. However, NEO is completely different because of something called smart tab grouping. So, let me show you this. Let's say I open up a website for Gym Shark over here and I'm over here, then a website for Lululemon. And what you'll notice is that the tabs are starting to get grouped based on what it is. For example, we can see a fashion tab already being happening over here or a shopping tab depending on what I'm looking at. Now, let's say I open up a website for AI news. Let's say let's go to this one. I had it open before. And you'll see that there's a technology tab happening. This is because of something called smart tab grouping, which automatically clusters your tabs by topic, and Neo figures out what goes together. It It's kind of like your browser tidied up your desk for you while you're working on it. Now, here's something that I'm going to show you that makes Neo genuinely feel like an intelligent assistant and not just a simple fancy browser because it has something called memory. For example, if I were to click on the settings over here and then I go to AI mode, there is a section called memories. So, right now I have memories turned on which lets Neo save details from my chats and remember them for future use. You can also manage your memories here, view or delete them. And this is important because you can see everything Neo has stored. You can edit a memory, you can delete turn it off entirely. Neo isn't quietly collecting information about you. you're still in full control of what it knows. There's also the Neo feed. If I swipe up, you can see that the feed is already there. And this feed is curated based on your interest. Instead of just showing you a random trending content, your feed is built around your actual browsing habits. So, if you've been researching AI tools, productivity apps, or whatever your thing is, Neo shows you relevant highquality content that actually connects to what you're working on. You can manage exactly what topics it focuses on by once again going into settings, going into AI and adjusting

your interest over here. It's your feed built around your life, not an algorithm deciding what to shove in front of you. You are in control. Another feature that I use personally constantly is the typing assistant. Let's say you're someone like me who does a lot of writing. I use it for YouTube scripts. I can use it for emails or whatever. I'm constantly taking my emails or taking my script and sense checking them with AI. But with Neo, your AI is already built in. Let's say I'm writing an email about a return that I had to make for my personal life. Like I bought a coffee machine and I want to return it and these guys are saying that I won't be able to return it because it's past 30 days. I can use Neo to help write an email and save a lot of time. I don't have to open up chat GPT, go into cloud or anything like that. I can just say over here, click on this and say, "Write an email. " I can just tell Neil to write me an email about asking for return on my coffee machine even though it's over 30 days because it's unopen and defective. Ignore the spelling mistakes. Then all I have to do is press submit. So, what Neo is going to do right now is it's going to take that context and create an email for me. And I don't have to do anything except for just stay in the tab I am in. Right now, you can see that I already have my email. I could tell it to retry or I can accept it. Also, if I'm lazy and I don't want to type, I could also speak the prompt and it will be able to do it for me as well. So, it makes your whole process faster. So, I can just click accept and then there we go. I have my email ready. And all I have to do is fill in my order number, model number, and everything like that. And I can just send this and I'm still in my Gmail. I haven't left my Gmail at all. So, this is another cool feature about Neo. And if especially if you're somebody that spends a lot of time writing, whether that's emails, scripts, content, this is one of those features that just becomes part of your workflow immediately. I also want to take a second to talk about something that I think is really important and honestly something that made me take Neo more seriously than I expected. We're at this moment where AI is getting woven into everything, including our browsers. And that raises a real question. Where is all this data going? Who's seeing what I'm searching and reading? With Neo, the answer is it stays with you. Your chats and your browsing history are stored locally on your device. Neo isn't sending your personal data to a server somewhere. On top of that, this is built by the Norton team, the same people who've been in the security and privacy space for decades. Norton Web Shield runs in the background, blocking malicious sites and fishing attempts before you even click on them. Neo can even help detect fishing emails. And we already talked about memory. You can see it, edit it, delete it, or turn it off. That level of transparency and control is rare. Most AI tools give you almost no visibility into what they're storing about you. For me, this isn't a nice to have. When an AI tool has access to your entire browsing context, privacy has to be a part of the foundation. And with Neo, it is. So, can Neo replace Chrome? Here's where I land. For the way I actually work, yes. If you're constantly switching between tabs, jumping in and out of AI tools, doing research, writing content, trying to stay organized, Neo cuts out so much friction, the AI is just there in context when you need it. I think it's especially strong for creators, researchers, students, and anyone doing knowledge work. If you're a YouTube creator doing research for scripts, if you're a student pulling together a paper from multiple sources, if you're a professional trying to manage information across bunch of tabs, this is built for you. It doesn't feel like a browser with AI bolted on. It feels like an AI tool that happens to also be a browser. Oh, and it's completely free, available right now for Windows and Mac. Mobile is coming soon as well. If you want to try Neo for yourself, the download link is in the description, and it works on Windows and Mac. There's also a Neo Discord community where you can connect with other users, share feedback, and keep up with what's being built. That link is also down there, too. And if you try it, let me know what you think in the comments. I'm genuinely curious about what features you end up using the most. But that's it for today's video.
