Introducing OpenAI Sora - The Biggest Leap In Generative AI

open AI just released a brand new model called sora it's a text to video platform their first and I think this is the biggest leap in AI since the release of the original chat GPT these are some of the examples that they posted on their blog post and I'm going to show you some other ones they're posting on Twitter and it is absolutely a mindboggling improvement over what is already existing Runway right now is the leading platform that takes text and makes videos and those videos are 4 seconds what open AI is doing here is they're creating 60c videos so chpt is a large language model that's the kind of generative AI technology Sora is a diffusion model so Dolly mid Journey those are basically what are called diffusion models that's the AI technology in the background but Sora is the first one that open AI has release that could turn a text into a video dolly is the one they have that turns text into a photo so you could use Dolly 2 or Dolly 3 right now inside of chat GPT now take a look at some of these examples if you've used Dolly before this just blows Dolly away as far as just a single frame Dolly can't at all make anything that looks this realistic and then on top of that this is now video so I'm assuming a new version of Dolly is coming soon that could generate images that look like this but the 6 second Clips is completely blowing my mind I'm a trained filmmaker I went to film school and this is going to change everything to me this is the biggest leap in AI that I've ever seen I think this exceeds chat GPT and I think this is going to change not only movie making but content creation this is going to change everything now I should mention this is literally just an announcement this model is nowhere to be found it is not available they did say they released this to a select few filmmakers and content creators here to test out I'm not one of those people but as soon as this becomes available I'll do a full deep dive video this is all we know so far but I wanted to show you these examples because I've never really been this Blown Away by Ani announcement and I'll link this page in the description so you could check out all the different samples that they posted and earlier today Gemini 1. 5 was released so I did cover that and exactly what that's all about so I'll link that video here too and I'll catch you next time
