you fill that out you could either go to the coinbase website or you could download the coinbase app as you can see this has 1. 6 million almost five star ratings and you could go ahead and download and open it and then use the same login information you just created with your username and password to sign up or to sign in here and this is the coinbase home page here let me go to assets to show you basically your balance which i'm just blocking out here will show up on top and whatever you have in other assets like bitcoin ethereum cardona they would just show up here in this list so this is what i have the most of second most third most and so on so to buy it after you sign up first you have to go to settings if you didn't do that in the signup process go to profile and settings and what you need to do here is you need to add a payment method so you could add a bank account which i've done here you could also use apple pay and things like that as a payment method so these are all the different types of payment methods even including paypal here so you do have to connect it because the money has to come somewhere to buy ethereum in exchange now once you've done that go to trade on the bottom of this page and we want ethereum so you could also search for it e t h is what you want to search for press enter and this is the one you want there is going to be ethereum 2 at some point but it's not available yet but right now i'm going to buy ethereum the original here let's go ahead and click on that and it's showing you the price as i'm recording this video so it's probably going to be a different price by the time you watch this video it's going to show my balance you're not going to have a balance just yet i'm going to press trade and you could press buy right there it says buy with cash and you could sell and you could convert so if you have other cryptos you could basically convert one to another i'm gonna buy with cash now the cash is going to come directly from the bank account and if i press this option one time purchase you could see i could do a one-time purchase i could buy this every day automatically weekly or monthly as well i'm just going to buy it one time right now you could type in the amounts you want to buy and if you press these double arrows it's going to show you how much ethereum you're going to buy so a hundred dollars is going to give me. 03 so you don't have to buy a whole ethereum here you could just buy a fraction of it so 100 worth i'm going to press preview buy and as you could see here it's going to say this is the price right now this is where my money is coming from this is how much i'm going to get and this is a fee so coinbase is an exchange that provides this service so they usually charge a small fee in this case it's about three percent of how much i'm buying and i could go ahead and press buy now so i'll press that and just like that it's been successful i bought this much in ethereum i could go ahead and press done and remember if you go to the assets page it's going to show your balance over here and all time so if i go to my all time from when i first started buying crypto to now you could kind of see a graph or you could just see your one year performance here as well and this is for all the different crypto assets they have over 50 different types of coins so bitcoin and ethereum are one and two but they again have a lot of different coins that you could explore here on the home page i hope you found this video useful please give it a thumbs up and i'll see you next time
