How to Use Cash App

hey everyone in today's app video i want to show you how to use cash app it's a really easy to use app for sending and for receiving money right on your phone it's available for both iphones and android phones and i have a link in the description below a referral link which you will get to once you sign up and if you spend five dollars on cash app or send or receive five dollars in cash app you get five extra dollars and i get five dollars so if you click that link it will walk you through downloading the app and we both get five dollars and last time i made this video a lot of people asked me is this safe to use is it legit to use this app cache app is owned by another much bigger company called square and square is been around since 2009 it's based out of san francisco and it's created by the same guy that created twitter so it's been around for a long time it's very legit to use and at the time that i'm recording this square is worth 100 billion dollars so it's one of the bigger companies out there so let's jump in click the code below if

you click the link below my referral link you'll come to this page here and it says if you use my code you'll get five dollars when you send five dollars so you do actually have to send money before you get that free five dollars and then once you use the app you could also get a referral code and invite your friends so you could give five dollars that way too and they could get five dollars and this is one of the ways cash app is quickly growing and download the cash app on your iphone or your android here through that link and go through the sign up process do everything the app tells you to do put in your real information your first and last name your address do as much of the verification process as you can so you could completely unlock everything the app has to offer

the very first thing you want to do is you want to link a bank account or a debit card or a credit card so that way you could bring money into cash app if you don't do that you could still receive money you could still have an account but it's going to be very limited so let me show you how to do that first on the very bottom corner is showing my balance yours would be zero if you just signed up but click it and on this page what you want to do is go to the section where it says linked accounts and here you could link a debit card a credit card or a bank account i've already linked a debit and a bank account but if i wanted to link a credit card i could click this type in my credit card number and then start using it now credit cards do have a fee when you use them within the app but if you use a

bank account everything is free so transferring money into cash app and taking money out of cash app is completely free now once you do that click the money option right here and here is where you could send and where you could receive money so let's start with typing in the amount so five dollars here i could either press request that will bring me to this page where i need to type someone's username here for me to request that that's their cash app username you will have to know that in order to request money type your note and then you could also see the suggested people if you've ever interacted with people they'll show up right here you could also pay people so type in five dollars press pay and you would again find their cash tag again their username here you will have to ask them for that you could also use their phone number and email but they also have to have cash app this transfer will take place from one cash app to another cash app and then type in your note here and then press pay right on top and then one more thing i should show you right on top it says cash balance select this you could either send money

from your cash app balance whatever is money sitting on your cash balance if you don't have anything you could just go ahead and choose the bank account that you've connected here so two different ways to do it now if your cash app balance is zero you obviously can't send money from that balance but you could add cash into the cash app so let me show you that go back to your balance here again if it's zero that's okay and you wanna press add cash and here you could add in cash from one of the things that you linked in the beginning of this video so your bank account so you could bring in 25 for example press add and as long as you have something connected here it will take that and bring it into your cash app increasing your balance now same thing

here you could also cash out so all the money that you receive on cash app sits on cash app it doesn't directly go to your bank so if you want to take it out of cash app if you no longer want to send or receive money on cash app with that amount just press cash out type in the amount you want so i'll just go ahead and use 25 the rest i want to keep on here because i use my balance all the time for paying for things and sending money to people so i'll press cash out and there's a very small fee sometimes that you got to pay to cash out instantly and there you go let me show you what

other things this app has if you want to know your own cash app id the tag on cash app just press your profile icon right here i'm on the pay window here press the profile option and your cash app is the name right here after the dollar sign so if people ask you what's your cash app this is what you want to provide them so they could pay you same thing if other people don't know where to find this you could tell them exactly where to find them or share this video with them

and this has a lot more than just sending and receiving money let me show you two other useful options here there's this option that looks like a card click that and here you could actually get a physical card from cash app that lets you pay for things using your cash app balance so it's almost like having a debit card connected to the cash app balance but the cool thing is you get a lot of rewards when you use that card you can see some of these rewards here so you would get this debit card sent to your house and then you could go ahead and swipe it every time you buy these things so doordash gets a 10 discount lyft all these type of discounts come with using the app so you would have to activate those rewards every time you want to use that service very useful i don't have the card but i use my balance just by sending and receiving money but this is another way to use it and finally click this icon here and there's a whole world of investing using your cash app you could buy stocks and you could buy bitcoin right within cash app and what's nice about it is you don't actually have to buy a whole stock you could buy a fraction of a stock even a dollar of a stock that may be 100 a share so for example if right now if i want to buy a disney stock i could click disney here i could see how much disney stock is right at the time that i'm recording this i could read more about it here so share price right now is 155 dollars a share but i don't have to buy a whole share i could press buy and then i could just buy one dollar of disney stock and here i could simply use my cash app balance if i want so i would bring some cash into it from my bank account and just press continue here and then buy that stock very easy to use very easy to invest in stocks here and as i mentioned here there's also bitcoin so you could go ahead and buy bitcoin here based on today's price and again you could also buy a little bit of bitcoin you don't have to buy a whole bitcoin you could just buy one dollar ten dollars or really any amount you want here and all these have a very good description about a section how much they are and some limits based on your account and what you've connected to that account so on all accounts you may not be able to buy this much bitcoin or other stocks if you haven't verified everything that you need to set up when you first create that account so i definitely recommend setting this up as if it's a bank account so with all the right information right address right verification so you could use it to invest to send and receive money just like you would with a debit card or a bank account and one last page i'll show you the very bottom page here is going to show you all your activity on cash app so everything that's pending everything that's complete and on top you'll have a little section to quickly send money or receive money from people that you recently interacted with here and as you could see here the invitation bonuses you could kind of see them over here too as well and then the cash out and adding cash to cash app also shows up

and in the profile section there is a cash app for business which i'll make a separate video about but at any time if you're using those for business you could actually change this account to a business cash app account and then that way you could accept payments for goods and services as a business rather than using this for personal use but again i'll cover that in a different video and that's the gist of using cash app i really hope you found this useful please give it a thumbs up i post these type of videos every single week on this channel and i hope to catch you next time
