Introduction and overview

to let me know that we are live and we are almost live. Okay folks, welcome back to another session. We're talking about controversies with the new food pyramid. Good evening. Thank you for being here. You know, I was curious about what the media's response will be over the past couple weeks to the new dietary guidelines for Americans. Uh for reference, here is the old pyramid. As many of you know, we grew up eating uh this way, right? Many processed carbohydrates, pasta, whole wheat grains, and so forth. And the new pyramid prioritizes protein as you can see from this image. And so, uh this I think for many of you is not a controversial issue. uh we know that eating in the way that we have been eating for the past I don't know 20 plus years has probably led to modern-day epidemics of obesity, heart disease, type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure and sleep apnea and all the chronic conditions that many people experience are the result of a monomaniacal focus on eating more processed carbohydrates and so forth. And we're hearing much more about whole real foods and so on over the past, you know, 5 10 years. But the new food pyramid focuses on protein, but it's not without controversy. So that's what I want to focus on today. I think it's really sad that pretty much everything, including not from my perspective, but this video and videos like this could be deemed political. I I'm not a political person. I really don't follow politics. I don't care about politics. I think most politicians do not have our best interest in mind uh and really you know uh kind of exploit division uh to keep themselves in power but uh a lot of people like to politicize things including uh folks uh that criticize this new food pyramid. Now I think you know irrespective of what you think about RFK and his stance on the environment or vaccinations or alignment with Trump whatever let's just focus on nutrition and I think this is a major win for many people uh including you know our healthc care apparatus and uh you know the USDA and and some of the uh public health uh policies prioritizing protein. Uh we know that protein is much more satiating than other macronutrients. We know that not enough people are getting protein and that's exactly what this new food pyramid is focusing on. So let's talk a little bit more about that. So the new 2025 2030 dietary guidelines for Americans has been released. This was earlier this month of January 2026. So the US the United States Department of Agriculture and Department of Health and Human Services released new dietary guidelines. So the key recommendations are that we should prioritize protein servings ranging from 1 1. 2 to 1. 6 6 g of protein per kilogram of body weight per day, adjusting as needed based on your individual caloric needs and requirements. Consume meat with little or no added sugars. Uh refined carbohydrates and starches, chemical additives, etc. uh should be minimized uh if preferred uh flavor with salt, herbs and spices. Uh swap deep fried cooking methods with baked, broiling, roasted, stir-fried or grilled techniques. Okay. So, um it sounds pretty reasonable, right? Well, let's look at the controversy. I think this is really interesting. Um you know that there's blowback because everything is political. I don't know why we're making everything political. So, — [clears throat] — um Yahoo News, okay, uh says, "The food pyramid is scientifically questionable and upends decades of trusted public health advice. " Okay. So this is according to the folks over at Yahoo News here. They said that little has been said about the fact for the first time since 1980 after nine additions in 45 years, the standard scientific procedure for preparing them has been bypassed. So uh pundits are saying that the new food pyramid has bypassed the scientific process. Now, let's just review for, you know, historical sake the old food pyramid. We didn't have a lot of good scientific evidence to support that eating, I think it's 9 to 11 servings of whole grains per day did anything beneficial for health. I mean, this is the old pyramid. This is the new pyramid prioritizing protein. Uh, and so, you know, the this new food pyramid is essentially an inverted food pyramid, which by the way, you know, there was an excellent South Park episode back in 2017 that really depicted this, which I think is really interesting. But we see animal protein at the top, and Yahoo News and other pundants do not like that. They say, um, the report recommends that saturated fats should not exceed 10% of total calorie intake. However, it also advises regular consumption of beef and beef tallow, butter, and whole milk products. The graphic reinforces this idea. In the pyramid, whole grains are the least recommended food group. Uh, however, when comparing the recommended servings per day with the rec with the servings uh of most prominent foods, they turn out to be identical. They say uh legumes make no appearance at all in the graphic despite being a vital component of a healthy diet. This is according to Yahoo News. Okay. So uh people are upset that the food pyramid has been inverted. Now I just want to ask you all what did eating this way do for you? Like tell me like the you know okay we have quite a few folks that are on here and I just want to have a conversation with y'all. Uh any questions are fair game. If you're enjoying the content, hit that like button. I was traveling for the past couple weeks, but I'm back and we're gonna uh talk more about this stuff. Okay. Uh the experts at Yahoo eat Whole Foods, says Johnny Bingo 4062. Yes. Uh crazy Larry Watson 9248 says, "Following all the rules and authority has never paid off. Understanding slavery, seeking old tribal freedom gives you food, shelter, water, and clothing in private wages. Uh, we don't want to be dependent upon broken systems. Yes, crazy Larry. Okay. Uh, howdy from Heber, Arizona. I heard it snowed over the weekend in Heber. Um, we have charge por says, uh, was nice to see you at Hack Your Health. Thank you for being there. Uh yeah, I you know, guys and gals, what do you think about this controversy? I don't know why this is controversial. Um let's what I'm going to do is share these with you right on the screen. Uh so that we can review these together. I think this is so incredibly fascinating. Just the media blowback to prioritizing protein. Um so here we go. Here is what we're talking about here. This is the controversy uh you know from our folks over at the Legacy Media. Uh let's go to the strange paradox in the RFK junior diet guidelines. Okay, so we have a picture of uh a bone in ribeye steak here. Uh, and the article goes on to say that confusingly, the recent guidelines also note that saturated fats shouldn't make up more than 10% of total calories, aligning with previous advice from both the federal government and the World Health Organization. But it doesn't add up with the foods pyramid, the foods promoted on the top of the pyramid that could leave Americans feeling disoriented in the dairy and meat aisles. Plus, the guidelines influence federal food programs, including the SNAP program. Okay, so uh an interesting thing about SNAP is when you go on Amazon and you type in Dr. Pepper, uh guess what comes up? You can use Snap Dollars to buy Dr. Pepper. I know this is absolutely insane that this is even an Now some of you might be thinking, "No, you can't do this. " this. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to share this on the screen with you right here. So uh Dr. Pepper is SNAP eligible. So we have lowincome people that can use government [snorts] allocated uh food dollars for uh lowincome individuals and they can buy Dr. Pepper. So here is right from Amazon. com as you can see on the right hand part of the screen you can buy Dr. Pepper. Let's see. You can buy Let's see. Hostess uh snacks. We'll see if you can buy Hostess snacks with snack dollars. I can assure you uh Pop-Tarts. Whap eligible. So again, the food pyramid according to our uh media is uh propaganda and so forth. But again, no one like, have you noticed this on Amazon? Like you can buy Hostess uh treats and so forth with Snap Dollars. I highlighted this on the screen right here. Check this out. This is absolutely uh insane that you can use government allocated money for low if you're low-income individual to buy PopTarts and all sorts of hostess snacks on Amazon. But then you have our legacy media is saying that the new food pyramid is based on pseudo science. I mean does this even make sense for some of you? Uh folks, what is going on with the world right now? It's really uh ludicrous. Uh Twinkies. All right, let's see if you can buy Twinkies with Snap Dollars over on Amazon. So, uh Twinkies, that's a great question. Okay, Twinkies. Uh let me see here. Nope, you can't buy Twinkies with Snap Dollar. So, it looks like someone is paying attention. Not that close of attention, but let's see here. What else can you buy? Um, there's the variety pack of honey buns, coffee cakes. Nope. Can't buy that with Snap Dollars, but you can buy Pop-Tarts. All right, so here's a cookie variety pack. Let's see if this Oh, oh. Okay, so check this. This is really interesting. So, you can go to amazon. com and you can use snap dollars. I'm going to highlight this. You all can see this. Okay. Uh, you can get this overnighted to you. A box of a 10 pack of nut butter bites, chips, aoy, and Oreo cookies. And if you have low income, guess what? You can use Snap Dollars to buy this 10 pack of cookies. Okay. Now again remember I you know for all of the fervor about prioritizing protein based upon this new food pyramid. Um is anyone concerned that people of lowincome communities and these are children that are trying to develop their brains and their bodies and uh get ahead in life can use government subsidized money to buy uh yep dingdongs was part of it. So yeah this is absolutely insane. Okay, so let's get to some of your comments, your questions, guys. Any comment, any question is for our game. We can talk about blood work. supplements. We can talk about exercise. Uh peptides, any peptide questions. Let's let's get into this. So, um uh Serpico says, "I think they're working on fixing a lot of that snap stuff, too. Get ready for another outrage. " Yeah. Uh you know, people uh get all been out of shape about this. Um, John Spartan44101 says, "Yeah, I didn't know that you can buy junk food on Amazon. " Yeah, I mean, as you can see right here, not only can you buy junk food on Amazon, you can use snap dollars to buy the junk food on Amazon. And so, where's the outrage on that? And so, you know, we should be prioritizing protein as the new food pyramid recommends. Is the food pyramid perfect? No, it's not. But I think it's far better than the old pyramid that made many of us overweight, autoimmune, depressed, lethargic, insulin resistant. So, I think prioritizing protein, flipping the food pyramid around was probably a good idea. Okay. Tom says, "I used to eat dozens of Snackwell cookies, healthy, lowfat, and high in sugar. " Yeah, I used to eat those, too. And guess what? It didn't do much for my health. Okay, Captain Crunch is part of the Snap program on Amazon. So, Captain Crunch, here we go. Captain Crunch berry flavor. Yep. Guess what, friends? You can buy Captain Crunch using Snap Dollars. A whole box. My throat is itchy. Excuse me. You can buy an entire box of [clears throat] Captain Crunch using Snap Dollars right on Amazon. [clears throat] Now, isn't this interesting? I think it's actually quite sad. So, obviously, politicians have had a an influence on this over the years. You can buy Dr. Pepper. You can buy Pop-Tarts as we've already uh hinted at using Snap Dollars. Okay. So, I really don't understand the outrage over the new food pyramid prioritizing protein. I think everything sadly has become political. It shouldn't become political. There's not a single politician where you are going to agree with every single thing they say. There's not a single human on the planet where you're going to agree with everything. So, I really don't think that we should be politicizing everyone and every little topic and nuance and so forth. I think we should just get back to life before everything became political. Uh it's really unfortunate. So, [snorts] that's where we're at, friends. Um everything has become politicized, even food, and it's crazy. So, uh the whole point of this show is to just connect with you, say hi. Appreciate you all being here. uh you know, if we're doing a good job, uh hit that like button, let me know. Um so, let's get to some of your questions. Snackwell cookies, yes, you can buy those using Snapdolls. Okay. Frosted Mini Wheats, Snap Dollars. Okay. Um yeah, we now need to allow many drugs to be over the counter like most of the rest of the world. You know, this is a very interesting thing. So, my throat is a little off here. I was in Europe with family and a lot of my uh family members actually got sick uh and we were touring around. We went to uh Dao which is uh the first concentration camp just outside of Munich. It was a uh you know unfortunately used quite heavily in the first or sorry second world war. And I [snorts] brought my daughter. I wanted to share with her the history of World War II and you know just how uh political extremism can lead to a lot of challenges and problems uh throughout the world. And so we saw that and we went to Italy and uh some people in the group got sick and they went to the pharmacist and uh these really nicearmacies uh in Germany and Italy. They sell a lot of natural remedies for folks that are sick and uh I was really impressed with over-the-counter [snorts] uh an agent that helps break up mucus was an acacetylcysteine NAC was prescribed and recommended [snorts] by many pharmacists for those that are sick. I was really impressed with that the amino acid that helps support glutathione uh and can break up mucus was recommended for people over the counter uh in both Italy and Germany. So I think that's uh really interesting there. Um so bio 1656 says yes people have been caught up in convenience. Absolutely. So convenience junk food um is the part of the deal unfortunately. Um, so there is uh that. Let's see what other questions do we have folks. Um, you know, we don't have to keep talking about the food pyramid. We can get into uh real science here and things like that. Um, but yeah, I think uh this whole politicization of everything is just challenging. Um, so they changed the Canadian food guide as well. All right. So, let's check out the Canadian food guide uh and see what has changed over the years with that. Um so, Canadian food guide. So, it looks like this has uh changed as well. Healthy eating recommendations for Canadians. Uh take time to eat. Notice when you are hungry, cook more often. Plan what you eat. Enjoy your food. Cultural. Yeah, I think overall Canadians are much healthier than those of us in the US. I used to spend a lot of time in Canada uh managing a different territory. Uh and uh yeah, I was just really impressed with um Canada has a much more European feel than America. Um although it is, you know, part of America, it's North America. Uh Canadians definitely take a lot more time for each other, for community, for connection. Um I actually quite like Canadians. Uh, and I think the, you know, the providences of, uh, Alberta and British Columbia are absolutely beautiful. Okay. All right. Okay. So, uh, oh, we have a great comment. I'm going to pin this comment here. Um, can some of you help me with this? I'm going to pin this comment from JRG305. JRG says, "If you have a master's degree in nutrition and yet you are referencing the food pyramid, what agenda are you pushing? My plate is the latest reference. This seems like ignorance or agenda pushing. Okay. Can you all comment on this um for me? I would I would like your help uh with this. What agenda am I pushing? I I simply said I wanted to look at the blowback from our media on the food pyramid. That that's the whole premise of this video. Uh the other premise of this video is why is Captain Crunch uh why are people of low income able to use government allocated resources towards Captain Crunch, towards Dr. Pepper, uh towards Pop Tarts? Okay, these are the questions that I'm asking here is why is our government paying for Oreo cookies for people allowing people to use government uh dollars for Oreo cookies? I mean, those are the questions that I'm asking. I don't have an agenda. I I don't have a political bone in my body. I don't care. I'm wondering why. And why are people questioning the food pyramid? There's a lot of there's been a lot of blowback over this new food pyramid because it prioritizes protein up to 1. 6 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight. Uh why is there blowback when this is what we used to have this you where many the eating sort of set of heruristics that many people uh caused that eating this way caused their body to change in a negative way uh is all of the uh carbohydrate uh enriched foods you know and so forth and so um this caused people uh to have a lot of challenges. So, if you guys and gals can help me in the comments section below, let JRG30305 uh know that I don't have an agenda. I really don't care. I like to uh help people live more full lives when it comes to um health and nutrition and I like to share uh research and things like that. So, uh that's my agenda. Um I if you want to call it an agenda. So, um let's see here. It should Yeah. Okay. So, John Spartan4101 says, "You know that SNAP dollar should only pay for whole foods. " Exactly. What I mean, this is absurd. Um, Johnny Bingo 4062 says, "Mike, did you notice the food tasted different in Europe? I've had European friends that swear everything tastes different, even the water. " Yes. You know, I'm going to replace this message here to something a little bit more positive. I've pinned the most recent comment. If you want me to pin your comment, write something there and I'll pin it and we can talk about that. So, Johnny, absolutely. So, uh while I was in Europe, um I ate a lot of foods that normally are not available here in the US were very popular things called dumplings. So uh in you know northern Italy and parts of Austria and Germany you know a lot of families actually make their own bread and when the bread gets uh crusty and hard uh what they do is they rehydrate the bread and make this dumpling and this dumpling was really good. Sometimes they infuse onions and garlic and bacon and rosemary and that's [snorts] often served with goulash which is like a slowcooked game meat and I had that a lot. So dumpling goulash was uh awesome. Uh there were some you know homemade pastries that I ate periodically. We were exercising so I didn't unfortunately or fortunately gain uh a lot of weight or things like that. But um yeah the food everything tasted much more fresh. Uh sleep was better. Everything was better. Uh there's a lot about Europe that is Europeans are doing a lot of things right. Okay. All right. Um, let's see. A comment here from Charge Mapor says, "I have lived my life on a carnivore diet free of junk food and I feel great at 57. " Yes. So, I'm just going to pin this one here. We're going to unpack this. Um, the carnivore the eating a low or zero carbohydrate diet is not for everyone. But if you're susceptible to obesity and type 2 diabetes and uh you've been eating the standard American diet and eating a lot of processed carbohydrates, you might benefit from a low carbohydrate diet. Okay. Um so that would be uh something to consider. Okay. All right. Uh question. I'm going to pin this one here to the top here. Uh question has come in from Scott says, "Hey, can you make kefir from pasteurized whole milk? " Yes, I think you can. Um I personally haven't, but I don't see why you couldn't. All right. Um so, so yeah, I think you can make kefir from pasteurized milk. I do think, you know, low temperature pasteurize is going to be better uh than high temperature pasteuriz homogenized milk. uh the homogenization does cause some challenges uh and they of course do that for defatting the milk. So uh get whole unhomog unhomogenized uh low temperature pasteurized milk. You can try that. Okay. Um let's look here. [snorts] [clears throat] Okay. There's a lot of recipes that utilize old crusty bread. Yes, slowcooked meats are the best. Annette, yes, I believe. Um, all right. This comment, uh, I'm gonna replace the pin comment here. This is from Charge Mapour says, uh, I make kefir from pasteurized milk all the time, which is awesome. Uh, kefir is amazing. Uh, I will just say in the group of eight individuals, uh, I was one of two that did not get sick and I strongly believe that kefir and going in the sauna really helped with that. Uh, okay. Let's see here. Um, uh, I love bread, bread cereal, even Froot Loops, but it's not good for you. Yes, the world of day 000. Yes. Uh, we know this to be true. Um, look, there's a reason why Dr. Pepper is so popular because it tastes good. food scientists have developed and created all of these foods that again our government subsidizes uh the consumption of which especially if you're a low-income individual. You can buy these using SNAP dollars on Amazon. Um you know but they're not good for your health and so I think that's something that we uh should at least be aware of. Okay. Ein corn flour. Yes, eorn is an ancient grain. Uh, blueberg grains was something that I like to use. This is a local grain uh a wheat local to me here in Washington state. Uh, that is something that I would strongly suggest uh to do. Okay, I'm going to pin this comment. All right, check this pin from SDH4557. Mike, what what's your agenda in trying to tell us how to make kefir? Something that can actually make us healthier. Yeah, my agenda is I hope to provide value to you when it comes to health and nutrition and exercise and longevity and all these things so that you come back to the channel and we can share information. I learn from your comments, believe it or not. So, I love your comments. You all have been loyal. I've been doing this now 10 years. Uh your comments are great. So, that's my agenda. I don't make any money off selling kefir. I mean, there is an affiliate link from Cultures for Health. They pay me 25 cents every time you buy their kefir grains. Okay, I'm not making any money off that. I mean, at the end of the month, it's like maybe $20, maybe. Right. What can you buy for $20 nowadays? Right. So, I don't have an agenda. I share with you things that actually work. Do I sell supplements and things like that? Absolutely. Do I uh sell supplements that I don't take? No. I happen to really like, for example, an acetil, cyine, and glycine. This is something that we formulated during the COVID era. There's been, you know, we have over 300 reviews. This product helps with sleep. It helps during the cold and flu season, you know. So, if anything, I have a bias of telling you about products that I've personally formulated. Uh, but I you kefir and all the lifestyle stuff. Uh, yeah, you know, I don't make any money off that. I just want you to know about these things because most people don't even know about it. So, um, that's my agenda, man. I want to just help you guys be healthier. You know, I've been blessed to meet many doctors and pharmacists and healthcare practitioners over the years. I've learned a lot and I just want to pay it forward. Okay, so Tyler T4271 says, "Yes, you can make kefir from pasteurized milk, but you want to get low temperature and get organic valley or better, but yes, you can. " Okay, Tyler, thank you for that. Okay. Um, appreciate you as well. Um, okay. Um, so let's see. Charge Mapor has uh, seen me in person. I guess I look good. Okay. Thank you for that. Um, yeah, I don't pride myself on being a longevity expert. I'm I'm, as you can see here, uh, getting gray hairs and stuff like that. I'm certainly not perfect. Uh, but I try to do the best that I can. Okay. Um, I appreciate that, John. So, yeah, we I feel like we make some great supplements at a great price. I've invested over $300,000 this year in our new manufacturing facility. Uh, so yeah, we're doing cool stuff with uh, you know, with creatine, uh, with electrolytes, with NAC. Uh, so, you know, these are things that I personally take. I recommend to clients, friends and family. Uh part of the reason why I went to Germany was to meet with the folks over at Al Chem which manufacture the best creatine in the world. Creapure, Creatalis, everything is made end to end in Germany without uh some of the contaminants that you find in the Chinese creatine like mercury and heavy metals. Okay. So, uh great people, great folks. We're going to talk a little bit more about that. I interviewed uh one of the executives over at Alsam. So, more to come on that. Um, so let's see here. Um, I'm going to pin this comment here. Uh, this is from GRG305. There's also a diabetes eating plate. The plate looks the plates are wellreceived and understood by the public. When conservative influencer Oh, JRG influencers talk about the food pyramid. It's like you haven't looked for changes. I How do you know I'm conser What makes you think I'm conservative? I'm a libertarian, man. I don't care. I don't fall into this, you know, uh binary thinking here in America. Um when it comes to uh politics, uh you know, I'm very much uh an independent uh you know, libertarian type. I think uh most politicians are heavily uh influenced by industry and uh you know uh do everything they can to stay in power and keep dangling the stick in front of people. I you know I think that um I don't I don't have a lot of trust in politicians and that's why I think a smaller government is better and so that those are my biases but we don't need to talk about that. We're focusing on health. I think um let's get to this question here. Uh this is from uh John. What do you think of people taking 20 plus grams of creatine per day? Okay, so we're talking about creatine. Uh the question about creatine. Uh well, first of all, I you know, I think if you're going to take higher dosages, you definitely want to consume the German material. Okay, so the Creapure or Creitalis, that's what we sell over at Myioscience. My conflicts of interest is, you know, I've invested a lot of money into a manufacturing facility to make the highest quality products that money can buy for you. um not 20 grams a day. You don't need to be taking 20 grams a day. Uh absolutely not. Uh there is some research to show that taking creatine can improve cognition in higher dosages uh during sleep deprivation and for people with Alzheimer's and dementia. But I think that many people are overdoing creatine and you don't need 20 grams per day. Uh I think most people are fine if they're eating an omnivorous style diet. If you're having meats and some eggs and seafood in your diet, uh five to seven grams a day is just fine. Even at on the lower side of 2 and a half grams per day, uh I've seen many people experience benefits from that. So, uh love the question, John, but I don't think you need to go that high. Uh but again, if you do go high, then I would strongly suggest uh that you um space it out. And that's why we did come up with the creatine sticks. Five grams of the purified German creatine per dose. So if you take just 20 grams in a bullet dose, not all of it's going to be absorbed. So you want to do five grams spaced out by 4 hours. So basically breakfast, lunch, dinner before bed. Uh and so that's why we did come up with the creatine sticks for loading and then you can back down to a maintenance phase of just five grams a day. Okay. So there's that. Um but yeah, great question. So, um yeah, John says, "I only do 5 to seven grams per day. " Yeah. So, you don't need not everyone needs 20 grams. Now, if you've been vegan, if you've been eating this way, you know, the standard American diet and you've been having uh you know, Oreo minis and nut butters and drinking a lot of Dr. pepper h and pop tarts and things like uh Captain Crunch and stuff like that. Well, then yeah, you might want to do uh a load phase of creatine where you do 5 grams in the morning, 5 g at lunch, afternoon, 5 grams after dinner uh for about a week and really saturate your tissues uh and then you can go back to uh you know around 2 and 1 half to five grams a day because you're eating a whole food omnivorous style diet. Remember, if you're getting a decent amount of protein, like the new uh food pyramid recommends, you're getting a good amount of protein uh and creatine uh in that in that way of eating. Okay. Um yeah, [clears throat] so this is a great question here or comment uh from C. Martell 002 uh says, "I have found another five grams after a night of bad sleep seems to really help. " And so yeah, I was sharing uh just this study here. A single dose of creatine imp improves cognitive performance and induces changes in cerebral high energy phosphate during sleep deprivation. So yeah, this study intentionally uh deprived individuals of sleep and found that you know just taking a single dose of creatine actually helps to improve sleep. Uh and so you can also get creatine from your diet. You know supplements are not the only way to get creatine. Uh but you know taking supplements and especially you know something convenient like the ultra pure creatine sticks you can travel with this put it in your backpack uh hit the road hit the gym uh etc. That is a good thing uh to do uh for many folks. Okay. All right. Will all this be on replay? Yeah. Um I share all of these uh live shows on a replay. So yeah uh pin this comment here. This will be on a replay. Absolutely. So Chris says that the new uh diabetes plate is too carbheavy. Yeah, because you know the American uh association of diabetes they actually get funding from Kelloggs and Nabiscoco, right? So you know shocker but you know our uh you know our medical uh sort of uh institutions have been corrupted by industry uh which is very interesting. Um Uh let's see here. What other questions do we have folks? Um again I appreciate you all being here. Thanks for hitting that like button. If you're here right now and you liked this um live, you know, and so forth, uh hit that like button. That just lets me know. I'm going to check in on my phone, see how we're doing. Um I very much appreciate you all being here. Uh okay. Outrage over the new food pyramid. Um all right. Yeah. So, so we got some good uh we got quite a few of you still on here, which is awesome. Okay. I'm going to address Scott's question here. Scott, uh, let me pin this to the top. I appreciate you, Scott. I appreciate all of you. Uh, Scott says, "I like 20 grams of creatine. I'm calorie restricted for the summer KOM approach, and I just added to my Metam Mucil in the A. M. " Okay. You know, my dad used to be a huge fan of Metamucil back in the day. Um, so that's interesting. And Scott says he bought the creatine uh from Bioscience. Uh yeah, we have a lot of great uh loyal customers. And that's why over the past year, like I said, I've invested over $300,000 in uh our manufacturing facility and really awesome Americanmade machines uh that can package and help make some of the highest quality products uh that money can buy. Uh and so, you know, we were just in Germany meeting with folks over at ALCAM, uh the makers of the cleanest creatine that [snorts] money can buy. You know, most creatine is actually made uh in China. The raw material, it's either made in China or made in Germany. And actually, I have something important to say. Many of you said the company concrete the cells of creatine HCL. Their raw material, folks, is made in China, right? So, they're saying it's made in the USA. The raw material is made in China. Then, they add the HCL to it and say it's made in the USA. So, this is really just there's a lot of smoke and mirrors in the supplement space. Uh so I get really um a little irked by that. So uh anyhow um you know getting back to the food pyramid you know finishing off here folks um I don't know why everything has become political and controversial. You know uh there's a lot of blowback uh about the high protein influences here on the you know that the new food pyramid recommends. Uh again between 1. 2 2 to 1. Uh so I think that's overall probably a good thing folks for many people, you know, especially when we're talking about, you know, uh what really got us into this obesity, diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, autoimmune, uh depressed, you know, mental health issue epidemic is eating uh all of these, you know, uh highly hybridized and processed uh foods. And so this new food pyramid uh seems to really prioritize protein, which I think is overall a good thing. So folks, uh really appreciate you all being here. Uh appreciate your likes, your comments, your shares. This video of course will be available after the fact. And um yeah. Okay, I'm going to address this comment right here. So, um, folks, if you can see this pin comment, uh, concrete creatine messed me up for years. I now only use, uh, the Creapure material. Yeah. So, um, I'm a huge fan of the Creapure. We've been selling Creapure through the Myoscience line, uh, in uh, starting in uh, 2021. So, yeah, I'm a big fan of that, and it sounds like you are as well. Uh, which is great. Okay. High protein, low carb is a great choice for most Americans who have a sedentary lifestyle. Absolutely. If you're an endurance athlete, you're turning for CrossFit or High Rocks. You know, you probably want more carbs. Uh, okay. Do they put insect protein in the recommendations? You know, they don't, Mike. That's a great question. They don't, uh, as far as I know. So, that's it, folks. Thanks for your likes, your comments, your shares. I appreciate you spending time with us uh, today. and we will catch you on a future live video next week. Have a great day. Bye now.
