Segment 1 (00:00 - 05:00)

Hello my darling friend. Welcome. This is a special invitation to connect to your heart. This practice is short but very sweet. We've decorated for you. And I just think this is a really nice video to share with someone in your life too. You can send to a friend as a way of spreading a little love and connection. All right, let's come into a comfortable seat. You can do this on a blanket or a block. You can do this in a chair. You can sit on your couch, in your bed, wherever feels good. And I'll invite you to soften your gaze or close down your eyes just for a moment here as we bring our awareness and our attention to the heart. And as we come together here for this connection, this opportunity for connection, I'll just share that this is all about love. This is a loving moment out of your day where we can call in some warmth, some comfort, and some connection by mindfully drawing our awareness in towards our heart. Now imagine a little soft glowy light in your heart center. And if you're like, I don't do soft glowy light, that's okay. Just bring your awareness to your heart center. And then very slowly, we'll bring one hand and place it there. Heart center, center of chest, and then the other hand on top. And here is where we will reside. Feeling the warmth of our own hands on the heart center. And just noticing what it feels like to bring our attention to the heart. Now shift your awareness to your breath. And as you inhale, hang with me, invite a little love into your heart. And as you exhale, send a little love out. Inhale the loving awareness comes in towards your heart and exhale. That loving awareness moves outward. Inhale lots of love in. Exhale lots of love out. Keep going like that for just a moment. Finding your own rhythm, your own pace. Mindfully moving the breath in and out with love and you will notice thoughts and topics and to-dos come up here. It's all good. Totally normal. We'll just use this practice to notice those thoughts as they arise and then without judgment acknowledge them and then come back to inhaling lots of love in. Exhaling lots of love out. Now, gently release that. And on your next inhale, slowly open your eyes and start to reach the arms out as you breathe in, feeling this expansion. And then exhale, bring the hands back to the heart. You can keep the eyes open here. Inhale, expand, arms open. Exhale, palms come back to the heart.

Segment 2 (05:00 - 06:00)

Inhale, expand. And exhale, hands to heart. Pause here. Together, we'll take one more breath in. Inhale, lots of love in. and exhale. Lots of love out. Release the hands, wherever feels good. Tops of the thighs, the knees. And then just take a moment here to sit upright and notice how you feel. Feel the parts of your body that are touching the earth and feel that gentle lift through your heart center. Thank you so much for taking this little mindful break with me. Namaste.
