But 3,000 just on the thinking, the thinking is the equivalent of the 03. That's just how valuable this new deal is. And for us to have 3,000 messages on a model that is the equivalent and better than 03 according to the benchmarks is just blowing my mind. That's more messages with thinking models than you could ever possibly use in a week for most people. I think that's a lot. But that's not even the best of it. The best part about this is that we not only get this rate limit increase of messages, but that the context limit for GPT5 thinking, this is GPT5 thinking, is 196,000 tokens. One of the main complaints that people were making a couple of days ago about the new release of chat GPT5 is that OpenAI had half the paying users context windows overnight without warning. in the UI supported around 64,000 tokens of context according to community testing. GPT5 is clearly listing a hard 32,000 context limit in the UI for plus users, which was true. And 03 is no longer available. So, as a paying customer, you just have my available context window and called an upgrade. Now, this is why this is so important in a few sentences. Contest is the critical element to have productive conversation about code and technical work. It doesn't matter how much you have improved the model when it starts to forget key details in half the time as it used to. So been paying for plus since it was first launched and just cancel. Now hear me out. If you're not familiar with the context window or tokens, a token is about 3/4 of a word. So 196 to tokens is probably somewhere close to 150,000 words. So within that 150,000 words that you speak in chat GPT speaks back, it's able to remember and attain this very precise attention and memory of what the conversation is about. But as the conversation progresses beyond that 150,000 words, the things that you said at the beginning of the conversation are going to start falling outside of the context window. So, one thing you might want to do is start trying to create checkpoints in your conversation that kind of summarize everything that you've discussed thus far so that it doesn't matter if it forgets earlier things. Either way, this is definitely a major upgrade. We may have to update rate limits over time depending on usage. So, a lot of people are going to be use it, but I don't know if they're going to update the limits and decrease it. But even if they take the 3000 down to 2,000 or 1,000, this is such a massive upgrade that I'm probably not going anywhere for any reason. 40 is back in the model picker for all paid users by default. It was already there. If we ever do deprecated, we will give plenty of notice. Paid users also now have a show additional models toggle in chat. GPT web settings, which will add models like 03, 4. 1, and GPT5 thinking mini 4. 5 is only available to pro users. It costs a lot of GPUs. So, I already showed you that these models are back.
