So, OpenAI finally released Sor 2, and the internet is absolutely losing its mind. Everyone who has it can't stop talking about it, and everyone who doesn't have access to it wants an invite. I've been testing it out for a couple days now to see if this is something that you could potentially use to build a business with. And I'll be honest, I don't think most other YouTubers are being completely honest with you about Sora 2. So, in this video, I'm going to show you exactly what Sora 2 is, what it can do, what it can't do, and my honest thoughts on it when it comes to making money online. Oh, and one more thing. I'm going to hide my invite code for Sora somewhere in this video. So, the first people who find that will be able to join Sora. And I'm actually going to hide it pretty well. So, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a while for someone to actually find it. So, to access Sora, you can just come to sora. gbbt. com chatgbt. com or you can download the Sora app. And I think primarily OpenAI wants you to use the app. They really want to make this more of a social media platform. When you first sign up, you will have to put in an invite code. Like I mentioned before, without that, you will not be able to actually create an account or use the app at all. Once you then put in the invite code, it's going to ask you to scan your face. If you've ever used Face ID and set that up, it's the exact same thing where you kind of move your head around, you say a couple of words, and then it'll scan your entire face and create a digital avatar of you. And that's because what makes Sor 2 a lot different than a lot of the other AI tools out there, video AI tools out there, is that you're able to insert yourself into any of the scenes or any new scenes that you want. Now, just like a lot of other social media apps out there, you're going to be able to have a for you page. You have a following page where you're only going to see people that you follow. And you can also see the top content that's being produced. So, for instance, we have some videos that people made. This is like some sort of anime that someone made right here. I can go ahead and open this up and actually watch it. There is sound for this as well. If I like this, I can go ahead and like it. I can also share it. I can remix it, which again is a way that you could potentially change how the video looks or even insert yourself into the video if you want. Uh, coming back to the for you page, you can see a lot of the popular videos. Like this is a more hyperrealistic one of a cop pulling over a cat and then the cat driving away. Here's one that someone made of Sam Alman. I'm not sure what he's doing here. So, just a big variety of different stuff that you can do in here with this app. Now, personally, I've been spending a couple days just kind of scrolling through watching all these videos. And I'll be completely honest with you, I think this is a lot of uninspired slop to be honest. It's a lot of people just doing the same stuff over and over again. Like, if we come to the top videos right here, you're going to notice that the top three are literally the same video just reposted in different ways. And you see a lot of people just copying the same stuff over and over again with just like a slight spin on it. So, not really inspired, not very original content being made as of right now, but it's still very, very early. Now, if you want to create any videos yourself, you can do that right here in this description box right here. Just use plain English and describe what your video is. Now, again, what makes this very unique are these, the cameos. So, what are cameos? So, I made an avatar of myself. This is it right here. So, if I click on this, I can insert myself into any video. In addition to that, these are other people right here that have made their cameos public. Meaning that I can insert myself and Sam Alman, this is Sam Alman right here, into the same video. If I have any friends, they can share their cameos with me so that I can make a video with them through AI. So, this is my bio right here. This is like my page right here where I post all my videos. You can see I only have one video posted right now. It's me riding this ostrich dressed like a king taking a selfie. And I'll talk in a minute why I only have one video posted. But you see over here, these are the drafts. These are all the videos that I made, but I didn't actually post them onto my bio. So, if you come to my bio, you're only going to see this one. You're not going to see all of these drafts. So, let's go ahead now and actually create some videos and see if we could potentially use this to make some money online. So, I'm going to come down to the text box and I'm going to ask it to create a video of an interview on the street asking people how much they love the new mint tea gum. So, we're going to pretend that we're helping a company market their new product, which is a gum that has some tea in it, maybe to give you like a nice boost of caffeine or something like that. I'm not going to do any cameos for this one. I'm just going to let it create a generic video based on that. Now, there are some settings here. You can do either portrait or landscape, but that's it in terms of settings. You could also upload a reference photo if you want, but I'm not going to do that for this. So, let's go ahead and generate that. Now, while that
is working, you see it is added to the queue. I'm going to come over to VO. So, this is Google's AI video generator called VO3. And I'm going to give it the exact same prompt. Now, here in the settings, you see we can do portrait or landscape as well. I'm going to keep it portrait. You can also change how many outputs you get. I just want one. And the different models. I'm going to go with the fastest model right here, but there is a higher quality one, but let's just stick with the fast one for purposes of this one. And we'll click on generate. Now, here you can see that this is working. It's generating the video right here. Returning back to Sora. Let's go to my bio. Let's come over to the drafts. And you see that this one is loading. It's probably about 1/3 of the way finished. But coming back over here to flow, this one is just about caught up. And this is something that I've noticed is that Sora, depending on the time of the day, I guess how many people are using it, it can be quite slow even for a short video. I think these are about 8 seconds long. And it does take a very long time sometimes to generate the videos where Sora sorry uh V3 which I'm accessing through flow here on Google tends to be much faster more consistently. So let's give these both a second to finish and see which one is able to finish first. All right. So V3 is now finished and Sora is almost finished. It's not quite there even though we started this one first. This is honestly a bit faster than I've been seeing, but then again, it hasn't finished yet. So, let's go ahead and watch this one while we wait for the other one to finish. — How much do you love the new Mena Gum? I strangely took for minutes. — I absolutely love the Mena Gum. — So, pretty bad to be honest. You see, he's talking a lot of gibberish. He shouldn't be the one asking the question. She should be asking the question and then he then answers it. So, not super high quality. But coming back over here to Sora, this one is now finished. So, let's go ahead and take a look at this one. — On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you love the new Mint Gum? — It's like a 12. My bag's got to pack right now. It's so fresh. — 12 out of 10. Love that. What about you? — I'm obsessed. It wakes me up better than coffee. Plus, it doesn't stick to my lipstick. — That's a big win. You — So, comparing the two of these side by side, this one is better in some ways, but also really bad. Right. He It's very consistent in the fact that he's the interviewer and the other people are answering the questions, but it's all over the place. it keeps skipping in a way that doesn't really make sense at all. You can also see that it's not the sharpest resolution and that is because I'm on the free plan and I'll talk about the plate paid plan in a few minutes. Just know on the paid plan, it will be a bit sharper though. And coming over here to Flow, this is sharper, but it almost looks a little bit too oversaturated and of course it's just really bad. So, let's go ahead. I'm going to do the same prompt in V3 again, but this time I'm going to go ahead and use the higher quality one and let's see if that gets a better result. All right, so that's now finished. Again, didn't take that long at all. Let's go ahead and watch this one. See if it's a little bit better quality. — How much do you love New Mint Gum? — Oh my god, it's so good. I love it. — If not, fix it, Mike. — I mean, that's still it's still awful. It's still really bad. So, I'm not I mean, that's something you can't use. You cannot use that for something like social media to go ahead and promote a brand. You know, no brand is going to pay you for that garbage, for that slop. So, it's totally unusable. So, let's go ahead and try something else here. Let's we're going to keep fighting with this. We're going to try to get some good results out of something here. So, I'm going to come over to Sora, and this time I'm going to say, "Hey, we're going to do a cameo. " So, I'm going to use my face for this one. And it's going to be Paul Lipsy. It's me on the Price is Right. And he won Minta gum. So, that way, you know, like a nice viral looking video where I'm on the Price is Right. I win and my prize is Mintia gum. So, let's go ahead and try that and see what the result is. — Call the price you called is locked in. LET'S SEE IT. — THAT'S IT. YOU GOT it exactly right. You just won yourself. — I can't believe it. fresh for a year, baby. — Okay. So, yeah. I mean, it gave me what I wanted. Um, it doesn't look like me. I don't think it looks like me at all. Let me know in the comments section down below. I think that's just I don't know who that is, but that doesn't look like me. But it did make what I wanted it to make. So, what is going on here? Because if you've seen other YouTubers talking about Sora 2 or even VO3, you've probably seen some pretty amazing looking videos. But all the videos that I have made that I just showed you came out like garbage. Complete slob. Well, what's happening in my opinion, what I think is happening is that a lot of the people that are showing you videos that they've made, those are after trying many many
different prompts over and over again. So, for instance, if we come over to my drafts right here, you'll notice there are a few of them of me running away from these elephants. I really wanted a video of me like running away from a stampede of elephants. So, the first one I made actually came out pretty good. If you look at my face, that sort of looks like me. It looks kind of cool, but there's a lot going wrong here, right? At first, I'm running away from the elephants, then I'm running towards sort of jumping over this log, but it's like too late. Then I'm running towards the elephants again. So, there are bits of it that are good and really bad. So, I think what a lot of these YouTubers are doing is like they're cutting out the good parts. So, like the first two seconds of this or maybe even just one second of right there, that part's good. Everything after that is garbage. It's slop. So, they'll cut that out. Then they'll make some other videos where they're cutting out the good parts of those ones as well and just leaving all the slop behind. Or they're doing multiple prompts over and over and over again until they get what they want. And that's what I tried to do. So, I made another one right here where I did the exact same prompt, but I told it, "Hey, make sure the elephants are always behind me. " uh running towards me and it just completely changed up the video. I don't know why my mouth is open. I suddenly have tattoos and I just look really stupid to be honest. So it made it a lot worse although the elephants are behind me. So at least that part was done right. So then I tried to make it just a little bit better. I said okay the exact same thing but the voice over for this one I want to be better. I want to make it like a motivational voiceover and it just ruined the video. It doesn't look like me again. I'm running beside the elephants. My face looks weird again. Now I'm running with the elephants. Now I'm running towards it. So it's really hard to get the prompts correctly on Sora 2. And I found that that's true for a lot of these video generators. So a few more examples that I wanted to show you just to kind of give you an idea of the quality and realistically what you're going to end up with when you're using Sora. So in this example right here, I wanted the cop to pull this woman over for speeding. She was going to admit that she was speeding but say, "Hey, I have mint tea gum. " And he was going to let her off without a ticket. So, let's take a look at it. — Ma'am, you know how fast you were going back there? — Too fast, probably. But, uh, I have Mntea gum. — Minta gum. — Freshest in the glove box. — Well, all right. Keep it under the limit. Have a good day. — You got it. Thanks, officer. — I mean, yeah, it's sort of there, but he's not looking at her. She's sitting on the wrong side of the car. It's just off, right? And I'm sure if you prompted it over and over and over again, you could finally get a result that is a lot more realistic, but it's just not quite there. Here's one more down here. I put myself into this one. I wanted this to be an ad for Bob's gym. Let's say they hire you to make some social media content. And I put myself into this one. And again, it's sort of there, but you'll notice that it's just a little bit off. Doesn't quite look like me. And the words in the background are all gibberish. I'm at Bob's gym, my absolute favorite place to train. The energy here is incredible. The equipment is always clean, well organized, and there's just a good vibe the second you walk. — Every workout feels better in this space. — Yeah. So, it's just a bit clunky, a bit off. Now, compare that to flow. This is my first prompt on flow. Now, I couldn't put myself into this one because that's not the way it works, but you'll notice that it's a lot better. I think — I love this place. This is one of my favorite places to work out for sure. Uh, so again, not perfect at all, but I think it did a better job than Sora did. Now, so far, I've only shown you videos that have been made with the standard free version of Sora 2. However, there is a pro version that comes with a chat GBT Pro subscription. So, for instance, this influencer right here, she has the pro version. So, you'll notice that her videos are a higher resolution. In fact, there it's a much better resolution than the videos that I was making on the standard version. In addition to that, the videos can also be longer. I think they can be up to 15 seconds long. However, it comes with a price tag. This costs $200 a month. And in addition to that, those are really the only two changes. The prompt adherence is the same. It still takes a while for them to actually be generated. And you cannot remove the watermarks on any of the videos. V3 on the other hand, you can access with a Google AI plan. And coming down here, you can see that you can access it for as low as $20 a month. Now, a lot of people are going to get a deal. You can see this deal right here, $0 for their first month. Uh that's not available to everyone, but for a lot of people, it will be. So, you can try it out for your first month for free. And then after that, it's just 20 bucks. Now, if you want more access to it, that's also going to be expensive. It's going to be about $250 a month. However, if you are a student, there's also deals for students as well. Keep in mind though that on the Google AI Pro plan, which is the cheapest AI
plan for Google, you're going to get a very limited number of credits every single month to make videos with. And a lot of people hit that limit very, very quickly. Sora 2, on the other hand, even though it has limits, it's quite generous. They want you to make a lot of videos on the app. But if I had to sum up Sora, I would say that at the end of the day, it's really just a social media app. It's really not designed to be used for business purposes, especially when you consider that there's a watermark on there that you cannot remove. In fact, because of that, I think the videos that you make with Sora are completely useless outside the app. I think the main appeal of Sora right now and the reason why people are going nuts over it are because of those cameos. You can insert yourself into any scene and insert your friends into any scene as well. But for business purposes, you can't use videos with other people in it without their permission. And it's like this really weird legal area because are you really using the person or is it an AI representation of it? Honestly, it's something that I just wouldn't mess with at this time. So, if you do want to create content that you could potentially make money with, either by creating advertising that you can then market your own company or do marketing for other companies using AI videos, I think that Google is the way to go using V3 or whatever comes next with it. It's definitely not perfect and you have to be very, very good at prompting it so that you don't waste your credits, but I think it's a lot more of a business tool than Sora is. Now, I didn't want to end this video without giving Sora to credit where it's due. Despite its shortcomings, it's still a very good AI video generator and it's only going to get better. And I think there is still potential to make money with Sora 2. At its core, now Sora 2 is a social media platform. And as with any social media platform, if you're able to consistently make quality content and rise to the top, then you could potentially make money as an influencer. We already know that influencers make money on platforms like Instagram with a variety of different ways from brand deals to affiliate marketing or pushing people to YouTube which they can then monetize. It really remains to be seen if influencers will have the same sort of success on Sora, but it's definitely possible. And now the barrier to entry is lower than ever because you don't even have to show your face if you don't want to. or you can just show your face once and actually hire a team to make the content for you. So, it it's going to be very interesting to see what sort of influencer economy comes out of this, but for sure it is definitely a possibility, but overall, I do feel like Sor 2 is a bit overhyped and is really just an entertainment platform. And as of right now, not even a really good one. And it's especially not worth your time if you're looking to use AI videos to build an online business. It's really exciting to see it because it has made huge leaps and bounds and I think it's only going to get better a lot faster, but as of right now, I just don't think it's there, especially for regular people who don't have a ton of money to invest in these different tools to prompt them over and over again. However, all hope is not lost because there are great AI tools out there to use that regular people could potentially use to make money online. This video right here goes over one of those tools. In this video, I show you how you can create entire store online in a matter of minutes using AI. And actually, ironically, in this video, I talk about an AI video generator that I think actually does work very well right now. And the reason it works is because it's very, very specific. It's not trying to do everything in anything. It's just trying to do one thing very, very well. So, click on this video. You'll see what it's all about. And I'll see you over there in just one second. Bye for now.
