GENIUS Way To Start a Side Hustle Using ONLY Canva (Step by Step)

All right. So, what I'm about to show you is something that I guarantee you 99% of Canva users have no idea is even possible. Now, because this video is about Canva, you might be thinking that they're selling Canva templates or ebooks on something like Etsy, but that's not what they're doing. In fact, they're not selling anything on Etsy, Amazon, or any of those sites. What they're doing is creating something that's getting consumed by millions of people online. And what's genius about this is that while they're spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to do this, I'm going to show you how you can do the exact same thing for almost nothing using Canva. So, to demonstrate how this works, here's a short video I made recently in Canva. Welcome to another episode of Eerie Tales. Tonight, we unravel the chilling story of Hollow Manor, a mysterious mansion nestled in the heart of the dense whispering woods. I made the script, the AI voice over, and all the footage right here inside Canva. And as you'll see in a minute, all of this is incredibly easy to do. And because it's so fast, you're going to be able to pump out video after video using nothing but Canva's built-in tools. But here's where most people mess up. They jump straight into making these videos without ever choosing the right topic for the videos or the right niche for their channel. And if you do that, this whole thing, I promise you, is going to fall apart. So, let me show you how to get this part right from the start. So, you really got to be careful which niche you jump into when you start your YouTube channel because some are going to be more profitable than others. So, there's this great list right here from the company TubeBuddy, which is able to analyze a lot of different channels to see what's working the best. And they've outlined for us the top earning niches by YouTube category. So, we see number one at the top are make money online videos. Then we have digital marketing, personal finance, educational, gadgets, but even things like lifestyle are high up here. Motivational channels or travel channels. But sticking with this list, let's go ahead and start a channel where we talk about and do different motivational speaking type videos. Once you've picked your niche, let's dive in and actually write the first script for your first video. And this is where we begin to use Canva. And it gets really exciting because most people don't know that Canva actually has a script writer built in and no one knows about this. So go ahead and sign into your Canva account and you want to look for this right here that says doc. I'm going to go ahead and click on that. This will create a new doc for us. And right up here you can see where it says magic write. And this is where you can actually prompt Canva to write anything for you. And in this case, we're going to use it to actually write a script for us. So, I'm going to go ahead and paste in this prompt. I'll have this prompt underneath this video that you can reference and actually use yourself. And you can change this up however you want. So, in this case, I just say I want a 3 to 5 minute video. Most of my videos, I'll actually make them longer than that, but for the sake of this, let's just keep it short at 3 to 5 minutes. And you can insert exactly what your niche is here, which is motivational speaking niche. The tone should be educational, engaging, goes through a bunch of other stuff here. And you just want to go through this and make sure it's exactly fitted to how you want your video to be. And then go ahead and click on generate. So here's the script right here. And you want to go ahead and read this. Make sure that you like it. If there's any changes that you want, you can click right here where it says this butt and actually change it. Or you can get something similar by clicking here where it says more like this. Otherwise, if you're happy, you can click where it says insert. Now notice what it also did here was that it actually gave us visuals. So these are little cues that we can use when we actually editing the video. Again, that'll be inside Canva. And this will actually cue us what we can edit the video to look like. So it makes our lives a lot easier. Okay. So now I'm going to click on the top here where it says file and I'm going to make a copy of this. And now I'm going to take this copy and I'm going to get this one completely ready to be the script. which means I'm going to delete all of this stuff like all the visual references, all the titles. Basically, anything that isn't going to be read out loud. So, I'll delete all of this. We'll delete both these sections. And so, what we're left with is just the script and nothing else. So, I'm going to go ahead and copy that. Copy it. And then I'll start a new design by clicking file, new design. And I'll type in video because now we are ready to actually create the video. And I'll select right here where it says video landscape. Now, of course, you can also do this with vertical videos. If you want to do YouTube shorts, you can go ahead and select this one instead for shorter videos. But for the sake of this, I'm doing a long form landscape video. So now here, we're going to scroll on this left panel, and you want to select here where it says audio. And you will see right here we have generate AI voice. That's what we want. So I'm going to go ahead and click on that. And then I'm going to paste in that entire script I just copied. Now, there's a few

different choices here, four different AI voices. The one that I like, I think, is Ralph. Let's go ahead and listen to Ralph. Welcome everyone. Today, we're diving into the incredible or maybe it was Richard. Welcome everyone. Today, there it is. Richard's the one that I like. So, I'm going to go ahead and go with Richard. I'll select that one. And then I'll click where it says generate AI voice. So, now that's done. It didn't take that long. And you notice down here is the entire audio track. So I'm just going to click on this. And if I click on play. Welcome everyone. Today we're diving into the incredible power. There you go. You have the entire script right out for you. So now what we want to do is we actually want to edit this video cuz right now the video is blank and we want to add in all of the graphics and all the videos to actually make this into a fully fleshed out YouTube video. So to do this, we're going to return back to the original script that we have right here that actually has for us different B-roll suggestions. So we don't even have to figure this out ourselves. So I'm going to go ahead and copy down this visual cue, which says a sunrise over a city skyline symbolizing a new beginning. Going to copy that and I'm going to come back to our new video and I'll click on the left here where it says elements. And inside of this, I'll just search for a sunrise. And right here, you'll see that we have videos. That's what you're really interested in are the videos. So, I'm going to go ahead and click on see all of those. And I'll find one that I like, which might be this one. And I'll throw that one in. I'll go ahead and make it larger to actually fill up the whole screen. Now, we can listen to this. Welcome everyone. Today, we're diving into the incredible power. And I'll pause it right there. Now returning back to the script, you can see that this section ends when they say, "Let's explore how to harness this power and transform your life. " Now, what I'll do here is I'll split this video. So, I will rightclick it and click on split. And we're going to leave this. You don't want to delete this cuz watch, if I delete this, then it also deletes all the audio underneath it. So, I'm going to undo that. We're just going to replace it with exactly what we want. So, the next section we have here is a person climbing a steep mountain or path. So, we'll just type in here a climber. And we see someone doing that right there. So, let's go ahead and replace that video with the new one. So, I can just take this new video, drag it over the part we want to replace. And there we go. And then we'll do that until the next section. And we'll just continually go through this exactly matching all of the B-roll that this is recommending that we use. So, I'm going to go ahead and do that. So, once you have all the clips in here that you want, you can start to get creative to actually build out this video and to make it look nice. There's a whole lot of tools available here on Canva. I won't have time to show you all of them. Let me just show you a couple of them and then you can spend time exploring them on your own or watching other videos to learn more about how to edit in Canva. So, one of the most important ones are transitions. So between each of these clips, if you hover over here, it says add transition. So you can go ahead and click on this and do whatever type of transition that you want. I like these slides. So I'm going to go ahead and throw that in. So now between each of these, you'll notice that it now slides. And you can do that for every single one in here. I also really like to use text. If you click on the left here where it says text, go ahead and click on that. You can add any sort of title in here that you want. I'm going to go ahead and delete that because they have some really nice templates in here. If you scroll down, they have all these different templates in here. So, I can click on this. And that will add like a really nice looking title. Just like that. And I'll actually move that to the beginning of the video. There we go. And you can change this up. Like I would probably change the colors of this to white so you can see it a lot better. Now, what you can also do is come down here and on the left here it says magic media. Go ahead and click on that. And this will allow you to generate any images, graphics, or videos that you want. So, if you don't see the video that you want, you can click on video and actually have it make it for you. So, I want a sunrise over a big city with skyscraper and click on generate video. So, there's the product right there. If you're happy with it, you can just click on it and that will be added directly into the video for you. I'll use that to replace the other one. So, that's a lot more aligned with what the original AI script writer told me to have. Some other things in here on the left, we have audio as well. So, clicking on that, you can see that you can do different sound effects. You can even use music in here as well. And we have the AI voice, which I already showed you how to do in case you want to change that up. So, there's a lot you can do in Canva. Don't feel overwhelmed by it. Just start with simple edits and then every time you make a new video, try to learn something new so your channel grows and gets better. Now, we're not done yet because we now have to create the thumbnail for your video. Now, luckily, Canva is the best way to make thumbnails. All the thumbnails I make for my videos are

actually made with Canva because I think it's the best tool out there for that. All right. So, how do we actually make thumbnails? Well, this actually starts on YouTube. You want to find a thumbnail for a video that is already doing well that's similar to the one that you're making. So, if I search up here for motivational video, I can see that right here, this video has done very, very well because it has over 225,000 views and it's only one month old. So, I want to make a video just like this one. So, I'm going to basically copy this design, but do something a little bit different. So, it's not an exact copy. So, I'll come back over here to Canva and I'll click on file, create a new design, and I'm going to search in here for thumbnail. And I'll select YouTube thumbnail. Now, what I love to do is here on the left, we actually have all of these templates, and I like to look through here and see if any catch my eye that would really fit this niche. And right here, I see one that looks pretty good. I'm going to click on this right here. And that now brought that in. I really like the look of that because I think I can work with this and really make a nice looking thumbnail. So, what I'll first do is get rid of this person. I'm going to use someone different. Go ahead and delete that. I'm also going to delete this stuff out of here as well because I don't want this. And let's go ahead and actually generate a new image of a different person. So, on the left here, I'm going to click where it says magic media and I'm going to create an image. And this I'm going to do. So, I'm asking it to create a realistic image of a strong man with headphones on. His eyes are closed and he's concentrating. So, let's see what it comes up with. All right. So, we have some choices right here. I'm going to go ahead and select this one. I think this really shows like motivation. I really like that. However, I don't like the background of this. Well, luckily, we can use the background remover tool right here. I'm going to go ahead and click on that. So, now we have just the guy. So, I'm going to go ahead and position this. And because this is on the wrong side, I'm just going to flip him as well. I'm going to click flip and flip horizontal so he's facing the way that I want. And I'll make this nice and big. Now, as for the text in here, I'm just going to change this up. So, I'll say listen to this every day. And that just happened to line up very nicely. But I did want the every to be underlined. So, that works very well in there. Now, this box is a little bit big, so I'm going to make this a little bit smaller, like this, so it's nice and clean. And also, I'm not loving this background either. So, what I'll do is I'll click on it, and I'll click on the top right here where it says position. And I'll make sure I'm choosing the right layer, which is the background layer right here. And I'm just going to go ahead and click delete. So, now we have no background. So, now to pick a new background, I'm going to click on the left where it says elements. I'm going to search for jungle sunset and I'll see the photos right here. Let's see if we have something nice in here. I think something like this looks pretty cool. So now that's in the front. That's not where we want it. So what you can do is again click on the top here where it says position. And then we're going to take this layer, which is a background, and actually drag it all the way to the bottom here. So it's now down there. And I just got to enlarge it to make it larger to cover the entire background. Like that. And boom. We now have a really nice looking thumbnail that I can then use for the video. Now, what's so amazing about this system is that it's so easy to just replicate this over and over again. In fact, once you get it down once, you can outsource it. So, you can come over to a site like Fiverr, and there are plenty of people in here who have done gigs for faceless YouTube channels who are experts at them. So this person has over 400 reviews and they make videos for Faceless YouTube channels. You can just get this system down, plug these people into it and you can use something like Canva Teams which can be used to have multiple team members working on the same project to really scale this up quite quickly. In fact, I know people who have multiple channels running at the same time because this is so easy to replicate using virtual assistants and things like Canva. So, there you have it. A complete system for making faceless YouTube videos using nothing but Canva.
