You know, when someone tells me they know Excel really well, I give them a cheeky smile because it reminds me of when I started to work in the operations team. This was after I started using Excel my first job as an economist. I thought I knew Excel really well. And then one of our consultants opened up a file and they showed me this thing where you could click a few buttons and do a few selections and the entire report and charts and everything updated. And I was like, "What is this? What program are you using? " They were like, "This is Excel. " It's like, "No way. Where are the grid lines? " I didn't even know that you could hide grid lines in Excel. That's when I learned about it. Well, that was when I discovered that my knowledge of Excel, which I thought was great, was anything but that. And this opened up a whole side of Excel. And it just put me on a completely different path when I learned about automation, when I learned about all these tools. And it wasn't overnight. It was over multiple months and years. And this changed the trajectory of my life. I was offered a job that I was not qualified for. Like it was far above what I was qualified for, but they hired me because of my Excel skills. So it's in my case it's no exaggeration to say that my Excel skills changed my life. I know it's just a tool but if it's a tool that you use every day, it's worth looking at how much you know it. It's, you see, it's one of those tools that there's so many different ways to solve a problem. It's a good thing because you get the solution to your problem but the bad thing is that you might be doing it the long way. I've worked in corporate for over 15 years in different departments and I've seen the changes and impact Excel can have. Now, if you're interested to upskill, this is the best time of the year. We are running a Black Friday sales with special bundles prepared for you. We have the Excel Confidence Kit and the Advanced Analytics Toolkit where we bundle together our bestselling courses that I think will have the biggest impact for someone working in corporate. Now, you might not like Excel. I certainly didn't like Excel. When I started to work with it, I just had to use it. It was out of necessity. It was just when I learned this side of Excel that opened up new doors and possibilities. That's when I really started to appreciate and value Excel. So, if you're interested, check out our Black Friday sales.
