How To Start eBay Dropshipping For Only $1 ($300/Day Beginner’s Guide)

Unlike most online businesses, you don't need thousands of dollars to start drop shipping. In fact, with the right system, you can get started today for as little as $1. And in this video, I'm going to show you step by step exactly how to do that. Before we jump into the first step, I did want to thank today's sponsor, who is AutoDS. I'll show you in a few minutes why that is, but for now, let's jump into step number one. So step number one is we need to decide where it is we are going to drop ship. Now you can drop ship on your own website but that usually costs some money to get set up. Luckily there are free marketplaces that you can drop ship on. And of all the ones out there I think the easiest one for beginners and one of the cheapest ones to get started with is eBay. As we see right here, there is a seller on eBay selling this patio furniture set. Take a look at the images of it right here. And you can see that it's selling for $298. Now, if I were to buy this product from this seller on eBay, all they're going to do is they're going to turn around and buy the exact same item for less money from walmart. com. And during the checkout process, when it when Walmart asks where this should be shipped to, they're not going to enter in their shipping address. They're my shipping address as the buyer on eBay. That way, Walmart will ship the item directly to me completely hands off for this seller. And as you can see, this is absolutely working because this seller has already sold this item over 20 times. And what makes eBay so great for beginners who are looking to get started for as cheaply as possible is that it's free to register. It's free to list your first few items. And all the fees that you have to pay eBay, you're going to be putting those into the price of the item. So, for instance, this seller again, they're selling this for $298. That includes the price of the item on Walmart. It includes the eBay fee and it includes their profit as well. That way, every time they sell the item, they actually make money. But best of all, what I love about eBay is that there's already a ton of customers here looking for products to buy. You don't have to go out and try to convince people to come to your website because they're already here. You just have to put the products in front of them and you'll start making sales. Now, to get set up, if you already have an eBay account, go ahead and use your existing eBay account. But if not, just come over to ebay. com and click on the top left here where it says register. Now, once on this page, if they give you a choice between a personal and a business account, definitely choose a business account. It tends to give you a little bit better limits on your account, meaning you can list more items. But even with a personal account, you'll be fine if that's the only option that you have. Just go ahead and give them all of the information that they're asking for. Make sure it's accurate and then usually you can have an account registered in just a matter of minutes. Step number two is we need to decide where we are going to source our products from. Now, there are many different ways to do this, but I think the easiest way that has actually worked for me and definitely the cheapest way is just to drop ship from retail websites like Amazon or Walmart. com. It's the most straightforward way to do this and you don't even need to set up accounts with them. You don't need to pay them to be able to use them to drop ship from. As you're going to see, this becomes very integrated into your system very seamlessly, easily, and for free. Now, there are some difficulties when it comes to drop shipping from Amazon and Walmart, which we're going to talk about in a moment, but luckily, if you know what to do, they're really easy to fix. But we'll get to that in a moment. For now, what we need to do is we need to connect our new eBay account to our automation software. Now, this is a software I use. It's called AutoDS. And this is the backbone of my drop shipping business. This allows me to automate every single step of the process. I'm going to show you all of that in a minute. But before I do that, we actually have to get set up with it. So, go ahead and click the link in the description of this video. So, that's why you can get started drop shipping on eBay for just $1 using the link in the description of this video. So, once you do that, you'll land on a page that looks like this. You'll want to enter in your email, your full name, and then create a password. Once on the next page, it's going to ask you where it is you're going to be selling your products. You're of course going to select eBay here. But as you can see, this will also allow you if you want to sell on all these other marketplaces. You could sell on Shopify, Amazon, Facebook, Wix, Tik Tok, Etsy, Woo Commerce, and they're always adding more. And you can do all of that from within one AutoDS account, which is really awesome. I sell on a few of these marketplaces and it just makes

it very easy when everything is in one place. But for now, we're just going to select eBay. And then you can go ahead and select your package. Now, this isn't going to charge you until that trial is over. So, what we will do is select the right package. So, as you see, there's an import, there's a starter, there's an advanced plan as well. You do not want the import plan because all the import plan allows you to do is actually add products into your store. It doesn't do the full automation, which we need. So, you want to do at least the starter plan. Over here you can see that you can either pay monthly or you have the annual plan and with the annual plan you save 25%. So you get a nice discount if you choose that option. So I'll go ahead and choose that one, the starter plan for 99 cents getting started right now. And then you'll want to enter in all of your credit card details. Now, one little addition here right here, you definitely want to check off right here where it says automate your orders and tracking updates. That is an optional add-on, but is well worth it because what that does is that will take any tracking numbers for your orders, automatically upload them to eBay. And this is important because like I said before, there is a small challenge with Amazon and Walmart. And the challenge is that they don't always give us tracking numbers that we can actually use on eBay. So to combat that, AutoDS actually has a system built in that can convert tracking numbers into usable tracking numbers. So you definitely want that. Otherwise, you will not be able to successfully drop ship on eBay from Amazon or Walmart. So I highly suggest that you use that option right there. Then go ahead and enter in all your details. Click on continue. I won't show you the next step, but what will happen next is they will ask you to actually link up your eBay account with AutoDS and they walk you through that process. It's very easy to do. So, now that you have a registered eBay account and an AutoDS account and you've linked the two together, Autodes is going to do a lot of the heavy lifting from here on out. And that all starts with finding the right products to sell. Now, like I said before, we use Walmart and Amazon and other retailers, but some of that is actually built into AutoDS. You can actually source products directly inside of this without ever leaving. And by far my favorite tool in AutoDS is the handpicked products section because what this does is it finds product products based on demand and profit and then each item is individually verified by an expert drop shipper. So you know it's going to be a good winning product. And then you can go in and really narrow down which products you want to add into your own eBay store. So, you can do some searching up here if you want to narrow it down or select certain categories if you only want to sell in particular categories or you can just come down to the products right here. And that's what I prefer to do. So, let's look at one of these. Let's look at this one right here. If we open this one up, we can see that this has a potential profit of about $37. These are currently being sold for $40. And we can see that there's only one competitor on this. So even though there is some saturation on this, it is not it's not too saturated, right? This shows us the entire kind of saturation score from no competitors to just way too competitors. And I find that as long as it is not fully saturated, there's still opportunity for us to come into the market. And what's also helpful is to look at the engagement score. So this tells you how much people are interacting with this product, how much they are liking it. The more interaction the better. So if it says active, that is the best. Inactive usually indicates that people aren't interested in it. But this is right in the middle, which is good. So this is moderate engagement, pretty busy saturation, but not full market. So I think this could be a good opportunity. So if you wanted to add this into your store, all you have to do now is click on import. We'll do that in a minute, but let me show you some more examples uh inside the handpicked product section. So, here's another one. And what's interesting about this is that I don't even know what this thing is. And you're going to find that a lot. You're going to start selling products on eBay drop shipping and you're not going to have a clue what they are. And that is okay because we don't care what the products are as drop shippers as long as they are making money. And here we can see that this has a potential profit of $30 because it's being sold for $33 on uh on eBay. It only has about four competitors. So, it's not super saturated. Um the engagement's not super high. So, this is like an okay product. Um not super great, but not

terrible either. And ideally, what I'm looking for is obviously ones that have super engagement, like very active, but a very low saturation. You're never you're not going to find too many that exactly match that. But as long as it's somewhere in the middle for both of these, usually that is good enough. We'll look at one more like this one right here. And this one I am loving because the engagement is very high, but we are not fully saturated on this. And the profit on this is quite good, over $100. So, I'm really loving that product. So, what I will do now is I will go ahead and import that item into my store. And to do that, all I have to do is click here where it says import. I can select which store I want to import it into. Because again, this account I'm selling on multiple marketplaces. As for now, you'll just have the one eBay store. So, that's the one you will select and click on next. and then that item will be sent over to eBay to be listed over there just in a matter of seconds. Now, if you wanted to manually add products, so let's say you did some research on your own and you found a product on Walmart that you wanted to sell. Let's say it was some patio furniture. I'm not going to actually go through the process of finding an item right now. I'm just going to choose a random item as an example. So, let's go ahead and choose this one. If you wanted to add this one, you could do that as well. super easy because all you need to do is grab the URL for whatever product you want to um sell. So, I'll go ahead and copy that. Come over to AutoDS, click on add single product, paste in that URL, and click the orange button. That will then pull in all of the information from your supplier, whe that's Walmart or Amazon. It also works with Wayfair, Costco, a ton of different suppliers. So it pulls in all of the information here and then you can go ahead and edit this to your liking before you list it. So for instance, I might spend a few minutes actually changing up this title to make it better. We can also see though that a lot of it's done for us. They automatically select a category. They automatically add tags and choose the best shipping method. And most importantly, they turn on monitoring, stock price monitoring and auto order. So, what this does is let's say the price of this item after I list it, the price on Walmart changes and it goes up in price. In the past, that was problematic because that would mean that once I sell on eBay, I would come over here to Walmart and then it would be more money and I would lose money on that sale. But what AutoDS does is it would be it's able to detect when there are price changes and it updates your eBay listing for you automatically. Something you don't have to worry about. And if the item goes out of stock, same thing, it will be put out of stock in your eBay store. Then finally, once you get an order, Autodesk can actually automatically order the item for you from your supplier, like again like Walmart and Amazon, and they'll have it shipped directly to the customer for you. So, you don't even have to fulfill the orders yourself. AutoDS can do that part of it for you as well. You can also see it brings over the description, makes it look really nice. If there's different colors, you can list all those different variations, all the images. So, just a matter of a few minutes, just making sure everything's to your liking. Click on save and import, and then that item will be live in your eBay store in a matter of moments. Now, I want to show you one final feature of Autodesk that I started using recently and really enjoy, and that is the trending product section. You can never have enough product research tools and opportunities because adding the right products into your store is the number one thing that you can do to actually grow and make money with drop shipping. So, this is another tool that I really enjoy, trending products. And what this does is it will show you products that are doing very well and that have a lot of engagement. And I like to sort these by the product score over here because what this will show you is products that overall have a great score. And that is based on the number of sold, the number of reviews, the interaction rate, the profit, all of that. And as we see, this has a very good product score. So overall, that is going to be an excellent product for you to drop ship. And as you see, they just give you tons and tons of these items.
