It’s a Ruby? From WHERE?! 😳😱

came out of a jewelry set that was my mother's. This is what came out of it, but I'm not sure what it was. — Let's take a look at the RARI first just to uh confirm that it's corandum. Yeah, it looks to be corandum, which is good for rubies. Yeah, rubies. You know, they have different types of inclusions. These look like inclusions that are found in natural gems. Looks like a natural ruby to me, which is good. Whether it's heated or unheated, I'm not sure. Honestly, you just you have to have a better equipment. So I would say based on the color to me it looks this is just a guess not a guess but like a educated guess. It looks like a Thai ruby — which is pretty common for kind of like older pieces cuz it has a little like tinge of purple inside which is like common in Thai rubies. If I just had to guess, I would say it's probably a Thai Ruby.
