So, I did a 40hour social media fast and it was actually amazing what happened to my body. Most importantly is my resting heart rate dropped by 10%. That's a very big deal for me. It dropped to 38 beats per minute, which is in the 99th. 9 percentile optimal. This matters a lot because my resting heart rate is the number one bioarker I track on a daily basis. It tells me everything about my eating, my stress, my phone usage, all the above. Years ago, I had a food addiction. Every night at 7:00 p. m. I'd eat too much food of the wrong kind of food and I couldn't stop it. This social media detox was kind of the same thing. Once you get off it, you feel this lift where everything feels so much better. So, I have a challenge for you. Join me on a weekly social media fast. It begins Friday at 7:00 p. m. and goes till Sunday morning at 7:00 a. m. That's a full 36 hours of social media digital detox. I think you will be surprised with how good it feels.
