How To Start Dropshipping on eBay in 2026 (Beginner's A to Z Guide)

so while eBay Drop Shipping is a great way to make money from home without investing a lot of money up front in order to get started you will only really be successful with it if you do it the right way and in this video I'm going to show you exactly what works in 2024 when it comes to eBay Drop Shipping and how you can get started today with just a laptop and an internet connection

if you're not familiar with it eBay Drop Shipping is probably one of the simplest ways to start selling physical products online here's how it works you're going to list some products up for sale on eBay and a buyer is going to come along and they're going to buy that item from you let's say it cost $100 so they'll pay $100 then you go ahead and buy it for less money from your supplier who will then ship it directly to the customer so it's very hands-off for you don't actually have to own any of the inventory yourself or even store it yourself so for example here's this item here on eBay you see it say bookshelf it's selling for about $65 here on eBay and this one is sold five times well the kicker about this is that once this item sells if I were to go ahead and buy it right now for instance all the seller is going to do is then go ahead and buy the exact same item for less money from Walmart and have Walmart ship it directly to me so as you can see this is a pretty simple online business in fact I believe that just about anyone who tries this can make at least one sale with eBay Drop Shipping and if you can make then you can make two then four and then your business could grow into something that is truly lifechanging so with that in mind let me show you how to actually make your first sale with eBay

dropshipping now of course the first thing you're going to need is an ebay account if you don't have one already just come over to ebay. com and click on the top left here where it says register now once on this page it'll actually just walk you through the entire registration process but a few things I want to point out for you first right away you get the choice between choosing between a personal account and a business account if you have the option I would really recommend you go with a business account it's usually a lot better for what we're doing as drop shippers so if you have that option definitely go for it also if you already have an ebay account just use the one you already have older accounts tend to be better on eBay because eBay will probably give you higher limits on those older accounts so definitely use an existing eBay account if you already

have one now it may come as a surprise to you that we're selling on eBay of all places after all a lot of people assume that eBay was killed off Years Ago by much bigger e-commerce giants like Amazon and more recently Tik Tock shop the truth is though there are actually a lot of people who still shop on eBay all the time more importantly I found that eBay is one of the best places for new drop shippers to get started even if they have absolutely no experience the first reason for that is because eBay is a Marketplace that means there's already millions of customers on here looking for items to buy so instead of trying to build your own e-commerce website and paying for ads so people can find out about that website you can sell on eBay where there's already millions of customers looking to spend money this also means you can get your store up and running in a matter of hours and not weeks and because eBay already has the customers and you don't need to pay for the ads in order to get the customers to your website it's going to cost you a lot less money to get started on eBay than if you were trying to do this on your own website now of course eBay isn't the only Marketplace out there right we have Amazon we have Tik Tok we have Facebook Marketplace for instance eBay though what I have found is that it's probably the simplest Marketplace to start selling on as a beginner and then once you master it and start making a bunch of money on it you can take your new skills and start selling on other marketplaces like Tik Tock shop you can sort of think of eBay as like a lowrisk way to train and build skills anyway let's now take a look at the actual strategies that are working in 2024

first I'm going to strip away a lot of the unnecessary complicated stuff that a lot of other people talk about in their YouTube videos when it comes to eBay Drop Shipping as someone who's been doing this for a long time I'm telling you most of that stuff is not needed instead what you need is a simple automated system that you can set up once and then just feed products into it now I've built out my whole Drop Shipping system using this software right here called autod DS and what's so cool about this is that once you set this up it will allow you to quickly add items to your eBay store and it will repic them and restock them automatically I'll show you in a minute what that means exactly so let me actually show you how this works so let's say that you have this item here on Amazon that you want to sell in your eBay store all you have to do once you set up the software is copy down this URL at the Top Copy and we'll come back over here to autods and I'll click on the top left here where it says add products single product next I will paste in that URL and then I'll click on edit now quick so what this is doing now is it is pulling in all of this information from Amazon for me automatically the title the photos the description the price and it's marking up the price as well so yes eBay does charge us fees every time we sell items but it doesn't matter because the fee is going to be built into the price that we are selling the item for on eBay and that's being done for us automatically by the software now this isn't the only soft software I use for my Drop Shipping Store but it is one of the most important ones if however you want a list of all of the software I recommend for eBay Drop Shipping then make sure to click the first link in the description down below from there you'll be able to download my free guide that is a complete list of all the software I use for Drop Shipping and why I use it there will also be links to all the software that will get you free trials and as a bonus there are some helpful tips about Drop Shipping inside of that guide that I've never revealed on YouTube so you can get that at the first link down below all right so back to autods so I've added in the product right here and what I can do right now is actually change up anything that I wanted to so normally what I do is I change up the title because the title that's given to us by Amazon is optimized for Amazon but it's not optimized for eBay so I would spend some time actually optimizing it for eBay specifically I could also change up the description if I wanted to if there was different variations like if this was available in different colors I could list up all those variations onto eBay and if there are some images that I wanted to delete for some reason I could do that so the point is it allows you to completely customize the item the listing for your item exactly the way that you want it or not if you want this to be pretty automated you don't have to change all that much once you're ready you can just click on Save and import and then that item will be live in your eBay store also

down here we have turned on stock monitoring and price monitoring so what that means is that let's say the price here on Amazon changes let's say it goes up in price well autods will be able to detect that and actually change the price of my item on eBay for me automatically and if this item goes out of stock it will go out of stock on eBay once it comes back into stock it will then be put back into stock in my eBay store and this is honestly probably the most important feature autods has because without a doubt I do not think you could run a successful Drop Shipping Store without it if you didn't have monitoring set up you literally have to check dozens of items every single day check if it changed in price check if they went out of stock and then update that on eBay and after a certain point that would just become impossible and you would end up selling a lot of items that were out of stock or accidentally selling items at a loss but with autods and the monitoring set up you don't have to worry about that because it's literally checking the prices and stock levels for you multiple times a day automatically so it just makes it so much easier to manage lots of products

so now that you have a system set up all you need to do is actually feed items into it and that's where product research comes in and this is where you actually spend time looking for the best products to drop ship onto eBay and then feeding them into autods now there's a lot of ways you can do this product research but my favorite is to use this software called Zeke because what Zeke does is it's actually able to pull data from eBay and we'll actually reveal to you the bestselling products so right when you log into Zeke they actually give you some of these winning products right here on the dashboard so this is showing me products that we're selling on eBay with drop Shi from amazon. com and you can see that this item right here this flashlight or whatever this is these have sold seven times in the past week sorry four seven times in total for a $112 profit and if I were to click this will bring me right over to Amazon this item is sold four times in the past week for a $9 profit and again I can find this right on Amazon so all I have to do is go over to those products grab the urls plug them into autods and start listing them and start making profit on all of these items and this software there's so much you can do with it so not only does it give you products right here but let's say you find a great drop shipper in fact they give you some trending drop shippers right here like for instance here's one that's done about $25,000 in sales in the past month here's one that's done like 14 Grand there's 46 Grand and all you have to do is click on this button right here and that will actually scan their store and find all of their bestselling products and rank them from the most popular right at the top so that will allow you to copy all of the products that these really successful drop shippers are selling so again really powerful software and the link to sign up for this will be inside that guide that I mentioned before that you can find at the first link in the
