ER Doctor REACTS to Colostomy Bag

We're looking at a colosstomy bag, but all that red tissue looks to be like a prolapse intestines. When somebody says they have a colostomy or colostomy bag, what they're saying is their intestines have been cut and one end has been closed off and the other to allow the excrement to get out of our body has been basically sewn to a hole or sto via the abdominal wall and then there's a bag that's placed over top to collect the stool and then that way you can empty it out. Normally what ends up happening is that sto or where the hole comes out of the abdomen is a small circular area with like ridges.
