Master Viz in Tooltip (in under 90 seconds)

Hey Melissa, I'm not exactly sure what you did with your Vizin tool tip, but I'll show you how I would do it. So, I have this, you know, our original chart here. And what I would do is uh just create a chart that has the education level on sorry, I'm going to use our group on color and the value. So, it's that percentage there. So, I just have something like that. And you know, you labeled the min and the max, which is good for each line. So, let me just turn that on. Okay. Why they're not showing, I don't know. There we go. So, I've got the min and max. Don't worry about what the percentages look like right now. Um, I would go ahead and hide the header as well. You don't really need to. So, maybe I'll just hit undo. Um, now I'll just rename this sheet vizen tool tip. And what I would do is go back to my sheet here. And on my tool tip, uh, let's see, I'll put it on the percentage one here. I'll go into tool tip and I'll just move it down a couple lines and I will insert my Vizant tool tip sheet. Now what Tableau does by default is it uses this filters all fields. Well, I don't want to filter to all fields. I only the uh to the state. So I'm just going to stick state in there instead. And I can make it a bit bigger, which it looks like you already know how to do. So let's make it maybe I don't know 500 by 300, whatever. and click on okay. And now when I hover over I get that view that you're looking for. So you know possibly you are over complicating it. Um but uh yeah that's pretty much all you need to do.
