Does Amazon To eBay Dropshipping Still Work in 2026? (Reaction)

i've been telling you guys for years now do not drop ship from amazon to ebay but what if i'm wrong what's up everyone paul here from dropshippingtitans. com where i teach regular people just like you how to start your first successful drop shipping store recently this video popped up on my youtube feed it's entitled i made 869 000 in 2021 drop shipping from amazon to ebay i gotta admit i'm pretty skeptical about this video because even though i used to do a lot of drop shipping from amazon to ebay over the past few years ebay has really not favored amazon drop shippers because they do not like amazon and they want to avoid giving amazon as much money as they can so i'm really eager to watch this video and react to it to see is someone out there still making a ton of money drop shipping amazon to ebay but let's find out so this video was posted by dropship king and it was posted january 1st 2022 let's check it out and since the new year i decided to try something different so i'm showing my face on camera for the first time so now all you guys can finally put a face to the voice you've been hearing in all my videos and since you guys are seeing me on camera for the first time i'd like to take this opportunity to formally introduce myself my name is jay and i've been drop shipping for over a year now and i started this channel back in may of 2021 to document my journey and also help you guys make money drop shipping using the methods that i've developed over time drop shipping for me has been a game changer and it really is the easiest way to make semi-passive income i know there's been a lot of challenges i completely agree with that so when i started making money online or trying to make money online i should say i tried a lot of different ways that just didn't work and the only thing that finally worked for me was drop shipping onto ebay and it seems like it's the same thing for him as well also big props for putting yourself out there and putting your face on youtube making videos that same thing i did a few years ago and i'll tell you it really helped my drop shipping a lot because all the feedback i got from people the accountability being on youtube really pushed me forward as a drop shipper so props to you man so i want to start with 4q 2021 before we get into full year 2021 results if you guys recall i have three accounts so i'm going to show you all three of my accounts this is the first one and as you can see this is from october all right so i'm looking right here october 1st 2021 to december 31st 2021. now i know there's going to be some people in the comments saying oh he faked this isn't real yes there are totally ways that you can fake this and inflate these numbers but with all the information he's showing it would take a lot of time and if he refreshes the page that pretty much eliminates any sort of argument that this is fake at all i don't believe this is fake just based on how much we are seeing here so i'm seeing right here total sales this period is 70 000 it's up a thousand percent and there were fees there was tax collected by ebay so he doesn't have to worry about that one of the great things about selling on these marketplaces like ebay you don't have to worry about sales tax because they're going to take care of it for you the fees were just over 10 grand net sales thirty five dollars so awesome if he's really just doing amazon to ebay i mean man this is still working for him first through december 31st of 2021 i'm just going to generate the report in real time so you can see there you go it's being updated proof it's real so total sales for this quarter is 70 000 and there's gonna be some taxes collected by ebay in here so we need to subtract these out to get the actual uh sales for this quarter and that comes out to roughly 66 dollars and i'm going to show you my second account now and then i forgot to say that you have to take out the 10 grand for selling fees that leaves you with the number on the right the 57 142. so october 1st through december 31st and we're going to generate report to refresh it in real time oh wait this was the second account so this one is 72 go back for a second okay i'm getting myself confused all right so this is the first account they're really close that's why i got confused so in this one he forgot to say you take out the 10 grand for fees it leaves you with 56 000. the second account sixty six thousand dollars and i'm gonna show you my all right so this second account now it's just pretty funny it's so close the numbers on both of the accounts um so october 1st through december 31st and we're going to generate report to refresh in real time also major props you look on the top right there you see that the messages is zero that means he's responding to all of his messages every day which i love to see that means you're really on top of your customer service so this one is seventy two thousand uh minus the four thousand eight hundred uh this gets you so check this out right here you see under total sales it says seventy two thousand under that it's up three hundred seventy four percent that means that this account was probably one of his first accounts it's been around that last account was a

brand new account which is why that percentage was up so high i need about 67 000 and then finally for my third account and so this one is fifty three thousand and three thousand four hundred uh and taxes collected by ebay so v-net these two comes out to around forty nine thousand almost three thousand i get asked a lot can you have multiple ebay stores and the answer is yeah you definitely can so usually what ebay wants you to do is start one store get momentum with that before you open up a second or third store but you're totally allowed to have multiple ebay accounts now one that you can't do is if you get banned on ebay you're not allowed to create a new account just to get around that ban that won't work they will know it's you unless you create something that's called a stealth account but you are allowed to have multiple accounts and if you add all three of these up you're going to get about 183 000 for the quarter so sales or revenue for the quarter was 183 000 and keep in mind this does not include the taxes collect my ebay i've already subtracted these out so it's not a bad quarter but if you recall from my other videos this quarter is actually much less than my previous two and even though you know 4q is supposed to be one of the best quarters for you know retail and selling there's been a lot of challenges this quarter so the main reason why sales have been slower this quarter is because i actually had a pause selling on my accounts due to amazon issues and when you pause selling your accounts after you resume selling you won't make as many sales as before this is unfortunately really true so when you put your store in vacation mode on ebay what it does is it effectively stops the sales on your account now you would think that if they built this functionality into ebay that it would work correctly but it doesn't because what should happen is once your vacation is over you turn vacation mode off which should then pretty much have you pick up exactly where you left off in other words your sales should just start rolling back in but they don't i don't know why this function is just kind of broken or glitchy on ebay everyone knows it's a problem and it stinks that shouldn't be the way that it is that's why even though i have put my store in vacation mode in the past i kind of got lucky and sales were okay after vacation mode was turned off but for most people they're not and i do not suggest you ever use vacation mode on ebay instead what you should do is raise the price of your items or lower the stock or increase the handling time or do all of those to just kind of slow down sales significantly almost to zero while you kind of go on vacation or deal with any problems or issues that you're dealing with so i really wouldn't recommend pausing selling on your accounts unless you absolutely need to all right now let's move on to the full year of 2021 results i'm going to change the filters to last year and generate the report all right for this account as you can see 342 000 in sales minus the 21 700 in taxes you get roughly 320 000 for this account and this is for the full year of 2021 moving on to the next account so this account generated 300 4 000 minus the 19 and 900 and taxes you get about okay so this actually showed us a little bit more information you can see it down at the bottom which i'm always interested in first look at the quantity sold he sold over 13 000 items in this one store last year that's a lot of items and you might be feeling well that's way too many items how are you gonna fulfill all those orders well if he's drop shipping amazon to ebay one of the benefits of doing that is that you can automate the entire process basically where if you have an order come in the software will actually automatically place that order on amazon for you so you don't have to place the order yourself that doesn't work with every supplier it definitely doesn't work if you're using wholesale suppliers which is what you are supposed to be doing on ebay but it does work with things like amazon for using a software like auto ds you could also see his average sale price is just 22 dollars so a lot of people focus they think they should be selling just the more expensive items they think oh i'm gonna sell 100 plus items but if you sell the cheaper items they will sell faster and it is a method that a lot of people use to really scale up their business just like he obviously did right here and as he obviously did no auctions which we don't do as drop shipping and shropshire 84 000 in sales not bad at all finally for the last account all right this one did 282 000 sales minus the 17 500 taxes comes out to about 265 000 in sales so if you add all three of these accounts together total sales for the year was eight hundred and sixty nine thousand dollars and a lot of you guys are asking us wondering about profit margin so i've said this before many times my profit margins are around 20 give or take so wow pretty surprised by that so normally if you're doing amazon to ebay your profit margin is going to be lower than that i mean that's incredible man i mean props to you you're crushing it 20

profit margin on ebay with which says 869 000 in sales when you guys can do the math there for a side hustle that is a substantial amount of income right there so maybe i was wrong maybe amazon to ebay is still working and still going strong there's a lot of ups and downs a lot of challenges but i think overall you know my first four year drop shipping i did 869 thousand dollars in revenue with a 20 profit margin that's pretty good in my opinion um and i think going forward you know it's not going to be as much because of the amazon challenges but drop shipping i think is still extremely lucrative and it's going to be able to generate a nice semi-passive income for the foreseeable future yeah man drop shipping is always evolving and as a drop shipper you are always going to evolve as well this is why i always tell people in my course i'm going to show you what works for me a blueprint and if you follow that you'll be totally fine but don't be afraid to kind of deviate and try new things i'm always encouraging my students to try new suppliers and i have to give out the wording don't drop ship from amazon to ebay because there are challenges obviously he's faced these challenges himself but if you're willing to overcome those challenges that is where you can make a lot of money and be lucrative this i mean man i really encourage you to try facebook marketplace drop shipping if you haven't already i haven't checked out your other videos let's see if you're doing facebook marketplace drop shipping have any videos about it because that would be such an amazing opportunity for you if you obviously already know how to use amazon as a supplier even though you do have challenges like you talked about but also you have the right mindset you obviously are able to push through the struggles and commit yourself to seeing success which really is the main kind of thing that you need in order to be successful what separates the unsuccessful from the successful dropshippers you have that already and you know it works so you've proved it out and facebook marketplace is such a huge opportunity i would jump on that man don't give up on ebay you're obviously crushing it but also jump on facebook as well and add that into the mix doesn't look like you are i mean at the top here you talk specifically about amazon to ebay so i doubt that you are doing facebook as well or maybe it's not talking about it we're using ebay as a platform to sell and ebay clearly says that they did not encourage or support drop shipping on their platforms but amazon just to kind of clarify that they do allow drop shipping from wholesale suppliers but they do not technically allow it from retail suppliers so that is why i've been pushing a lot more recently for wholesale and kind of trying to steer people away from using amazon and other retailers but with that said people are still doing it a lot of my students are still doing retail drop shipping why because it works you know i didn't really think that it would be a problem since we're just buying items on amazon we're actually giving amazon business you know so it really doesn't make sense or it doesn't make sense to me why amazon would want to you know block or prevent us from buying items because every time we buy something on amazon makes money even if we're using you know prime benefits for reselling or buying for our customers they're still making money amazon makes so much money from us so it really doesn't make sense that they're trying to prevent us from helping them make money you know i don't know exactly what the reason is uh maybe amazon thinks that you know they're too big now and they don't really care about the additional revenue but i don't know it's something that you know i've yet to figure out but all i can do right now is define different ways different strategies to circumvent the amazon bands to circumvent you know all the amazon warnings okay for those of you who don't know what happened in 2021 was amazon started to crack down on people drop shipping from amazon using amazon prime so in the past we could use amazon prime to dropship onto ebay onto facebook marketplace no issues for years and years but then in 2021 they suddenly said hey we don't want you to do this and they started to ban accounts now there are ways around this to kind of create multiple accounts and spread them out a real more easy way is if you're using like auto ds which again is a software that can automatically place orders for you then it can handle all those issues for you so their team over there they know how to run their amazon accounts and multiple accounts in order to have the fulfillment done and not have these bands happen so there are ways around it things and suspensions it's gonna be it's gonna require some more work it's going to be it's not going to be as easy as the solutions i provided previously in my videos because after trying those solutions i realized that wasn't enough amazon can still get you amazon can still catch you so you need to be more innovative creative around how to get around these amazon bands and i do have some solutions that i'm currently you know testing obviously i'm still drop shipping from amazon to ebay you know as you can see based on my first uh fourth quarter results but the solutions that i've proposed before are not enough and so i'm gonna be making more videos about tangible solutions that can actually
