$100,000 A Year Dropshipping on eBay! 😲

today we're going to look at an ebay drop shipper that's making over six figures a year in profit what's up everyone paul here from dropshippingtitans. com where i teach regular people just like you how to start your first successful drop shipping store now in this video i want to dive into someone's ebay account and really analyze it kind of like a case study because this person by my estimations is doing over six figures a year in profit so i want to look and see what they're doing well and how you might be able to use some of the same strategies for your own drop shipping store so i'm here on ebay right now i found this person who's drop shipping a lot of products from walmart onto ebay now drop shipping walmart to ebay retail drop shipping a lot of people still do it still works obviously as you're going to see personally i'm moving more towards doing wholesale drop shipping that's what ebay wants that's what's allowed by ebay but as you're going to see retail drop shipping still works so what i've done really is i've taken this person that i found on ebay and i plugged them into a software called zeek analytics so this is it right here now zeke analytics is a software that we use to do our product research on ebay it does a lot of amazing stuff but this is one of my favorite features of it it's called the competitor research tool so basically you plug in their name and it spits out all this information about this seller so right here i can see up here at the top that this seller has 1900 active listings on ebay they've sold 1600 items in the past month just in the past 30 days and the sales earnings over are over 88 000 now when you do all the math here that means that they have an 83 sell-through rate which is excellent that's a really good sell to rate the higher the south rate that means that the number of sold items compared to the number of active listings is high let's say you had 5 000 active listings and only 10 of them sold your sell through rate would be really low and that's bad and they also have over 3 000 feedback so they've been doing this probably for a couple of years now so they're not a new seller and that's another thing i want to emphasize here there are sellers here that have put in the time to make this work and that's what you have to do as well if you want to be a successful ebay dropshipper it does take time it takes time to get to the six figure mark but as you're going to see it is possible if you put in the time and effort okay scrolling down here we can see some of the products that this person is selling so this is one of them right here this is a bookcase that is being drop shipped from walmart onto ebay and the reason i know that is because i was able to find it right here on walmart so this is it right here with all these kind of shelving right here and this nice color and this is the exact same one here on ebay obviously this person marks it up in price so that when they sell it they're able to make a profit so let's look at this listing and see some things that kind of stand out for me so the first one is that they've added a watermark to their images right here the marketplace shop and that is something that i'm experimenting with myself it's something i've always avoided doing because ebay has specifically said in the past that you're not allowed to add watermarks but i've seen plenty of people do it and do it successfully a lot of really high earning drop shippers are doing it so i think there's something to be said about it so i'm definitely testing this out i haven't seen any negative consequences to it and obviously it's working for a lot of other people as well such as this person now besides that they haven't really done too much to the images they just use these stock images from walmart and didn't really change too much in fact they didn't even change the main image here a lot of times what i recommend that you do is you take the main image that's supplied by let's say walmart and you use a different one for your main image on ebay and the reason for that is because if everyone's selling the same product or a lot of people are selling the same product and they're all using the same image you can make yourself stand out a little bit by using a slightly different image this person didn't do that and it's obviously working out for them but they did add that little watermark there now coming over here we talk about the price in a few minutes you can see it has sold many times they sold this item 82 times and coming down here the shipping so they're offering free shipping which is something i've always recommended that you do offer free shipping and they ship from multiple locations united states again this is something that i've always recommended because as drop shippers you're not going to be drop shipping from one location you are drop shipping from wherever the item is shipping from by walmart has multiple warehouses throughout the united states so it's inaccurate to say hey this is going to ship from new york if it might ship from a warehouse in nebraska instead so that's why we always put multiple locations for the shipping locations doesn't matter so much i don't think so ultimately i've seen people use multiple locations other people not and haven't really seen it to make a difference but technically more accurate now the delivery estimate for this is between september 20th and september 21st so that's about six days from now

so that's excellent right there i mean that's about normal that's what you're going to be doing and 30 day returns buyer pays for return shipping so they're offering shipping of returns but not free returns which i think is the right way to go coming down here to the description you can see right here that they have a plain text description and this is something that i really recommend something i've been talking about to my students for a long time is i'm getting away from using the fancy looking descriptions that have all the images and things like that keep your descriptions very simple plain text for whatever reason we've seen that working really well with ebay it's obviously working really well for this guy as well a lot of item specifics but these are required by ebay so yeah see great stuff right there so let's get back into the numbers here and coming in here to seek analytics you can see they're selling a lot of these items at an average price point of 54. now 54. it's not too cheap it's not super expensive as well so it's a nice middle range it's a really good point where you can sell a lot of items and still make a decent profit on all those items so if we pull out a calculator here this is a website i use to determine how much people are making on a sale i plugged in here the sold price of 51. 95 which we see is the price of this item on ebay and they're not charging shipping and the cost on walmart for shipping is zero dollars as well because you get free shipping on items that are over 35 dollars and you can see that right here free but it doesn't say that it cost shipping and then the there's no taxes either to worry about because this person is going to be tax exempt the cost of the item is 39. 96 right and they're obviously having ebay store so an ebay store is a way that you can make you can save more money on all your purchases you plug in you sign up for an ebay store it's going to lower your fees you know a little bit and you save on insertion fees as well there's other choices here that might lower the cost like being top rated seller you can't really become top rate seller as a drop shipper so i wouldn't worry about it this person's obviously not below standard they're i'm going to assume they're not using promoted listings and all these other things so that's going to spit out a number telling you how much money they're item that cost 51. 95 so it is about a 10 profit margin on his sales right so we take a calculator 51 96 times 10 is 5. 20 and he's making more than that so that's how much he's approximately making 10 now this is where things get pretty incredible five dollar profit doesn't sound like a lot but this guy really understands the game he understands how it works if you come over here you can see that over the past 30 days he's done over 88 thousand dollars in sales which means he's making about 8 800 a month in profit just from this one store and of course if you don't take 8 800 and you multiply that by 12 that's over six figures a year in profit so this guy took him a few years to get here but obviously he's doing it right because he's making over six figures a year with just this one ebay drop shipping store and primarily doing walmart to ebay drop shipping the last thing i want to note about this seller is that he currently has 1 900 active listings now that's obviously a lot but it's really not that big we see much bigger sellers out there think about this he only has 1 900 listings and he's making over six figures a year from those listings it's really not that bad what he's done here is he's really optimized his store he's found listings at work if listings aren't selling he eliminates them from his store that's why his sell-through rate is so high that's why he has 1900 active listings and 1600 of them have sold he's really making sure that his store is streamlined he's only keeping items in there that are actually selling and that could be contributing to his really high sell to rate obviously which is making him the eighty thousand dollars a month in sales eighty 8 800 a month in profit and then six figures a year in profit well if you guys enjoyed this
