How do you find your audience on Twitter with so many conversations happening on Twitter? How do you connect with specific audiences within your niche? Moreover, how do you find the most relevant conversations? And how can you engage more successfully with an audience that's ready to jump into the conversation? There are four ways to find your community on Twitter, search topics, lists and the Explore tab with the Twitter search bar. You can find both hashtags and general keywords that align with your business. For example, let's say you build handmade, customized wood furniture by searching for keywords like dining room style ideas. You can track ongoing conversations from an audience that has expressed interest in the topic. Speaking of topics, let's talk about the best way to utilize the topics tool. There are so many good conversations happening on Twitter that it may be hard to find what's most relevant to you. That's where topics can help to follow a particular topic. Tap or click on topics. Any topics you are following will appear here. You can choose to follow more topics by clicking the follow button. On the other hand. Let's say your shop specializes in collectible sneakers. You can follow topics like sneakers and shoes. Likewise, you can select topics that you are not interested in, like fitness related topics. Don't worry, you can always follow these topics again if you change your mind. Twitter list is a tool that helps you find your communities. With list, you can customize, organize and prioritize the tweets you see in your timeline. Imagine you're a brand new burger joint and want to check out what food influencers and Burger fans are talking about on Twitter. Creating a list curates content around the subject of your choice making it easier for you to be a part of the conversation. As a hashtag pro-tip when making a public list, be sure to include your own account free exposure. You can also choose to follow list created by others. Viewing a list timeline will show you a dedicated stream of tweets from only the accounts on that list. Lastly, meet our Explore tab. Explore offers content on a range of subjects that has been curated just for you. This is where Twitter shows you what's happening so that your business can join in on relevant conversations.
