Is eBay Dropshipping Really This EASY? Full Time Dropshipper Reacts!

is this youtuber telling the truth because she claims that she was able to see success with ebay dropshipping pretty freaking fast and if she is telling the truth how is she able to do it what's up everyone paul here from dropshippingtitans. com where i teach regular people just like you how to start your own successful ebay drop shipping store and i've been doing this for a while now so when it comes to ebay drop shipping i have a pretty good idea of what works and what doesn't work and i kind of know when someone posts up results and is kind of pulling our leg and just kind of making things up so when i saw that this youtuber named the meg rai posted a video all about how she started and immediately saw some success with her ebay drop shipping store i knew i definitely wanted to check out the video and see it for myself now i haven't watched it yet so i'm gonna go sit down we're gonna wash it together and i will kind of give you my reaction to what it is she's talking about whether i think she's full of it whether it's actually working for her and whether the advice she gives you is actually good advice or not all right i found a really beautiful spot out here to sit and watch this youtube video so i'm just to press play and i'll pause it every once in a while and kind of give you guys my reaction to what she's saying or showing and kind of give my two cents on it and yeah just kind of be a reaction video so let's check this out i haven't watched this yet but i am pretty excited to get into it so let's get into my computer got my hotspot on we should be good to go a lot of people think about shopify when they hear the term drop shipping up until recently i only thought that drop shipping was possible on shopify i've recently learned that it is yeah uh this is a common misconception that a lot of people don't realize when i say i do drop shipping most people out there don't even know what drop shipping is they've never heard of it but those people who have heard of it most of them think about shopify or know about shopify but yeah you can drop ship lots of different places you know i talk on this channel a lot about drop shipping on ebay on amazon but you could also do it on walmart there are just so many different places you can do it possible to do this on ebay as well and i have also recently found out that it actually really does work because to be honest with you guys it does because i was a bit skeptical at first yeah um that's understandable i was pretty skeptical when i had first heard about ebay drop shipping i was like is this real does this really work is this too good to be true um but the more you know i didn't even shop on ebay ever before i started ebay drop shipping but then i started trying it started exploring it and saw that hey actually it does work and people still do shop on ebay but i don't want to get too ahead here because that's probably what she's going to be talking about in just a minute that intro was so cool and it kind of makes it feel a little bit shameful because my intro i have no intro like that and this one just looks so nice i gotta up my intro game now yo what's up everybody welcome back to another video my name is meg for those of you that don't know me already i make videos about making money online trying out different online business ideas and also trying out different side hustle actually successful with it because on her channel she tries all these different types of business models and i kind of thought you know if you just tried ebay drop shipping for a day that's not really enough time to really understand if it works um but you know we're gonna hear more from her and exactly how much time she spent on it and uh you know prove me wrong i'm happy to be wrong the youtube algorithm because today we are going to talk about ebay i agree with that so i'm going to give her video a thumbs up there are already plenty of them if you guys agree with her on that you know maybe we should give this video just down below a thumbs up of its own what do you guys say to that all right drop shipping i'm going to guide you through the entire process because i've recently found out that it actually does work and i'm not gonna lie i was a little bit skeptical when i first heard about this i would actually make these listings on my ebay account and then after a couple days or weeks when they wouldn't sell i would go in and delete them and then recently i listed a couple more items two of them have sold in the past week so earlier today i got a notification from ebay as well as paypal that i made a sale okay so this is pretty common for someone who just starts it without really like learning how to do without taking a

course or even people that do you know you list up some items doing the drop shipping model and they might not sell right away that's okay you know you're not going to get a home run right away it's a process you have to learn it's better just to start learning uh because the sales will come once you understand how it works um but you know take your time be patient with it sounds like she was which is pretty awesome and she's definitely hasn't been doing this for just one day so i have a lot more confidence now in what she has to say in her experience for about 55 i think it was when i got this notification i was a bit confused for a little bit because i didn't know what i had sold for 55 so when i went and clicked on it i found out this was one of my drop shipping products okay so for those of you that don't know i've been selling on ebay for a couple years now i was really doing it on and off over the past couple of years and it was all right awesome she also has a few years of ebay experience so yeah she obviously knows what she's talking about here until back in march where i seriously started consistently making sales on ebay still nothing too crazy i've sold about a little over a thousand dollars worth of items on ebay mostly just things lying around my house so most of it has been profit however i am looking into different ways of scaling my ebay business up this method is going to be perfect for other people like me who might be yeah i saw some of her other videos and she was talking about how to start an ebay business for zero dollars and that was by selling stuff around the house which is pretty awesome you can build up from zero build up a store make money by selling junk around the house reinvest that into yourself either by taking some training to learn how to do something that's more scalable like drop shipping or something like that so you know it's pretty cool the way she structured a channel like that to kind of see that type of growth a little bit lazy and not want to always be going out and finding products to resell on ebay or if you also don't have a lot of money to invest up front this method will allow you to not purchase any products until you've actually made the sale if you guys have heard about shopify drop shipping then you're probably familiar with like the drop shipping business model yeah another reason i really love drop shipping because it is a little bit lazier you don't need to go out find the items you could do it from your couch you know for myself i live in a camper van we just do it in there we're not actively going out to stores and sourcing products well you're basically listing products on one store and then when you make a sale you buy the product at a cheaper price from another store and you add your customers information on the suppliers website and then the supplier ships the product right to your customer so you never have to actually touch the product ebay drop shipping is a little different than drop shipping on shopify because most of the time while you probably can get your products from aliexpress a lot of other youtubers that i've found that have made videos about drop shipping on ebay use bigger retail stores such as walmart lowe's target home depot however i only have experience with walmart so far because i have a walmart credit card and if i purchase stuff for drop shipping from there i can pay it back right away and also get cash back and you never actually have to have an inventory okay yeah so that's the way that i do it the helicopter going overhead that's the way i do it i drop ship from these big box stores like walmart home depot so without further ado we are going to jump oh good point there she got the walmart gif uh credit card those things are amazing because you get the five percent back any sort of even little bit of a deal you get like that turns out to be a huge deal five percent back when you're doing a huge volume it really adds up so that's smart i've been to my computer and i'm going to show you guys the process i use for finding walmart products to list on ebay at a higher price now that i'm on the walmart website one of the departments that i like to go into to find products is the home furniture and appliances the first drop shipping product that i sold from walmart on my ebay account was actually like a shelf so now we're in home decor i'm going to choose best seller this is a good one mainstays adjust adjustable tension curtain rod we are going to copy the title and come back to ebay and we're going to paste okay so i'm going to filter these results to show me the sold items there it is look at that it's literally the same exact photo this is insane we already found a winning ebay drop shipping product product these are items that have already sold so people have already bought these off ebay for this price when the ebay seller was probably drop shipping it from walmart

for 988 and these people are buying it i know the first time i discovered this and first time i saw like what she's showing right now it like blew my mind like i could tell it did the same thing for her because it's like it's literally available on walmart and someone else is selling it on ebay for more and people are buying it and that's just like blows my mind blew my mind when i first discovered that for 17. 99 okay so this is definitely the same exact thing let's look at these photos that photos from walmart's website while you probably could list that product what i like to do is i mean what i've seen other people do because i've watched other people's youtube videos about ebay drop shipping they will click on the seller okay so they have 20 items for sale so it doesn't really look like they're very uh experienced because that's this is exactly how i do this so well we're gonna look at their items okay look at this these are they're definitely like drop shipping all these so these are all of their items that they are selling probably drop shipping i don't know if i want to use this as an example just because they only have 20 items for sale usually i like to look for other sellers that have a lot of other listings okay so just because that seller doesn't have a lot of other listings i am again going to find another product and try to find another seller on ebay another ebay drop shipper this is like a personal choice you guys if you want to you could still i love this so like um i don't know for sure if she actually learned this product research from one of my videos um but this is the way that i do it and this is exciting to see because if she was watching one of my videos um it's really cool to see someone actually go through the steps that i've taught and do it themselves because she's doing it exactly right which is really cool to see it's kind of like a dynamic process you try to find a good seller you didn't find one right away and that's totally fine she's going back she's trying to find another one now so it's awesome go with that seller's products what you would do is you would copy the titles of their products and then you would paste them on like a google search and then you would see if they're also being sold from walmart and then that would mean that seller on ebay is definitely a drop shipper however i mean those products pretty much definitely looked like they were drop shipping from walmart so i don't really have any doubt this really is like a copy and paste method of making money online however doing this is very tedious you got to make sure that you're doing research no matter what supplier you're using because you can use amazon you can you use lowe's home depot but you want to make sure that you're doing this research and making sure that it's selling and it's being drop shipped i'm going to go to appliances yeah the process can be tedious which is uh why after you learn it i do recommend you go with some sort of software that will help speed up the process uh there's a software i really love called zeke analytics it does the same thing this same manual product research which everyone should learn because that's like the core that's the base of how you do product research but the software will help speed up that process and just make it a lot easier to do that i'm pretty picky when i'm searching for these products but i just want to make sure that i have a good example to show you guys let's go with blenders so we got some good options here we're going to go with this first one this hamilton beach smoothie electric blender copy and paste that into ebay this is the same exact blender that we just saw in walmart most likely okay so this is 25 and they only sold it for 30 so this one sold for 36 that's a little bit better of a profit sold for 40 i mean 39. yeah but notice that the one at the top also charge for shipping so they might just be making their money on the shipping wait how much is the product on walmart um uh it gets free shipping because it's over 35 dollars on walmart so they that seller might just be making all their money by charging money for shipping possibly without clicking through it's hard to tell 1995 another for 39. 99 that's a pretty good profit so yeah i'm going to click on this listing and see if this seller has any other good things for sale they don't have any good i don't have anything for sale okay let's go back to search results all right so so a tip for you meg is um in the parentheses it tells you what their feedback is that person only had five if they only have five feedback they're not going to be a good one to kind of go in look for like 30 feedback and then you'll know hey if they have 30 feedback they probably have at least some sales you know the higher the better um the 30s at least um here's one selling it that sold it for 41. this looks like a better seller because they have yeah definitely more ratings here finally we have a winner they have 162 other items for sale we're going to scroll through their items and see if there's anything that looks good here's a coffee maker by that same brand that had like the smoothies now that we found another product i'm

going to copy the title of this product and i'm going to open up another tab and just paste the title into so that works um but it'd be better to copy a chunk from the description because a lot of people they'll just change the title completely like it'll be completely different title and if they do that and you search for it likely will not pull up the right product so it's better to search using a chunk of the description it's getting pretty dark out here hope you guys can still see me let me see yeah that's light enough google and we're gonna see where else this coffee maker is being sold so it looks like there's one on amazon kohl's and there's one in walmart but that looks like a different model okay so it doesn't look like they're getting this from walmart which is okay because they could be drop shipping it from kohl's amazon like i said you could use others you gotta be a little open-minded sometimes you'll go in to one of these sellers you'll see a product they're selling and then when you search for it might pull up a different supplier than what you were originally looking for but you know be open-minded you could drop ship from any big box store that sells online suppliers however i really do want to find another walmart one so i'm going to find another product let's just click on this one copy the title here and paste it looks like this same thing is on walmart let's see if this is the same thing this is this speed blender selling for 42. 46 on walmart and this person on ebay here is selling it for 88. if they're getting it from walmart let's see it looks like they're using the same photos yeah look at that now that we know that this is a product being listed by another drop shipper on ebay we can go ahead and list it now i'm going to create my own listing for this product and basically copy and paste the entire listing from walmart and sell it for a higher price on ebay all right i'm gonna this is great this is awesome but uh one thing i would really recommend is get some software because you can have this item listed up that fast okay if you use the software um you don't have to oops do all the copying and pasting manually um that's fine for doing that but it'll save you a lot of time you'll be able to do a lot faster with software and it's safe to use if you use it correctly um so yeah that'd be my recommendation so one of the reasons i really love software it does everything that you're doing manually but it does it faster which as you were saying before meg like you saw like this can be scaled up and the software really makes that possible um so yeah that would be my tip for you action so format we're gonna do the fixed price okay so i'm going to list this for like 64. 99 that looks good um and then you can do a quantity so you can add like more and the other cool thing is that the software once you set it up it will actually price the item on ebay for you to cover the cost of the item and cover the ebay fees and enough so you make a profit on top of that so you don't have to guess where to price it at it will actually do that for you okay so that's basically the process of finding products to dropship on ebay and then creating the listing um actually as you can see here these are the two products that i've sold i sold one of these shelves like a week ago and then this is what sold today that's basically the entire process of ebay drop shipping there are also like other ways to do this like i said you don't have to use walmart you can use amazon you can use that website called banggood you can use aliexpress maybe if you want to um so yeah do your research do more research on this topic if this is the first time that you're hearing about it right now i'm gonna go ahead and find some more products to list on ebay from walmart and i'll probably make like an update video to this video in like a month or so maybe longer than that i've heard other youtubers say that if you're gonna do this you should be listing five to ten products a day on ebay from these other websites if you guys have any questions after watching this video please leave a comment down below i would like to do another example for you guys however my camera batteries keep dying so i'm going to have to wrap it up here if you guys would like another video on ebay drop shipping please leave a comment down below and if you like this video please give it a thumbs up comment down below and don't forget to hit the subscribe button turn on the bell so that you're notified that was an awesome video so what i really loved about that was that you really really got down the product research formula and that is the hardest thing to get down so all those other little things that i mentioned like using the software which i really recommended i forgot the other thing was that i said those are important but those are easily learned that's something that you can easily trans transition over to um what's more important is that you got
