so in this video we're going to be doing some store reviews my name is Paul J Lipsky I help people learn how to drop ship on eBay and Amazon today I'm going to be looking at some debased stores and some specifically eBay dropshipping stores and I'm going to show you what I think these sellers are doing right and what can be improved so that you can kind of bring this to your own store give yourself your own store analysis your own store review and that way you can kind of help make your store run better and hopefully get more sales so let's get right into this go into my computer here this is the first dropshipping store that I found and as you see this person right here this is their store and right off the bat what I'm seeing here is they haven't really done much branding here on this page in the past I never really thought that was this important so things like having a nice logo here and a nice background image but more and more I'm thinking it matters to at least a certain extent there are going to be some buyers who are going to come into this store actually click through and look at more of your items so you do want to make it look professional it can't hurt it only takes a few minutes to do that a really great place to get a logo really cheap is just go to fiverr. com you can usually find someone on here pay them about $5 for a logo and it's very fast very cheap very easy I'm not affiliated with them at all but I use them for a lot of things including oftentimes the logos that I use and the thumbnails I use for my YouTube videos so each seller on here is rated so you see like this person here has over 1000 reviews and they're 4. 8 this person has 5. 0 so look make sure it's an established seller someone with good reviews and you can use them and get a nice looking logo usually within like this person get you one within 24 hours they give you 3 different options so really no reason not to do it for 20 bucks here's one for 25 and 30 so pretty cheap you can even find ones that are newer sellers for like five or ten dollars and your store is best offer shop so I'm sure you can get a nice looking logo for that now also see that you have you've been around for exactly a year now settees I'm recording this in January twenty-second 2020 and you've been around since January 24th 2019 and I see that you have 274 items and 160 for feedback 164 that's good you're off to a really good start there I would try to get more feedback specifically more positive feedback I am really happy to see that most of your feedback is positive you do have some new trolls and some negative I'll get to that in a minute but what I'm looking for here is to get more feedback and that's gonna result from more sales and asking customers for the feedback so it's actually nothing wrong with that what I suggest you do is once the item has been shipped out and delivered and assuming there was no problems with the order assuming that the customer hasn't contacted you with any problems what I would then do is reach out to them send them a message saying hey I saw the item was delivered I want to make sure everything was ok with the order and if it was ok then I would really appreciate it if you left us some feedback and then you can give them instructions on how to do that again don't do that if there is any sort of problems with the order unless you feel like there was a problem with the order and then the buyer you were able to resolve it for them and they seemed really grateful that you were able to resolve it for them then you might want to say hey I'm glad we were to work this out for you if you wouldn't mind could you now leave us some feedback because it really helps us as small sellers and then again instruct them on how to do that now I got one thing that's really gonna help you get more feedback is selling more items and one thing that's really gonna help you sell more items is having more items in your store so right now you have 274 items not exactly sure what your limit is but after a year I would expect that your limit would be higher than 274 at this point so every month you're gonna have a certain limit on eBay and you want to make sure that you max out that limit as much as you can you want to list up as many items as you can and then get some sales and then call eBay and ask them to raise it do that every single month they will start to double it and double it and so after a year you could be higher than 274 so that's what I would recommend that you do you'd also

Segment 2 (05:00 - 10:00)

want to take a look at what your store subscription is that's information that it don't have access to see what store subscription you have start a basic premium anchor or enterprise and you each one that you sign up for they're going to give you a certain number of free listings per month so you do want to max that out if you're on the sorry premium plan I think you get let me double check yeah five hundred listings per month so assuming that's the one that you're on or you might be on the basic and you're just paying for some extra ones there but if you're on the basic then I would bump it up to the premium and then max out that 500 per month to really take advantage of it so let's now go into some of your listings and take a look at what they look like to open up this one and I'm really happy to see that you are offering free shipping here that's really great but this says you have five business day handling time and I'm kind of questioning why your handling time is that long these look like Walmart items to me and with Walmart one more if you order the items the same day they will get their items out most of them within two days it actually deliver it to the customers many times in two days so I do not think that you need five business days for this I don't think you should do - I would actually move it down to three business days so what business days Minar that's how long it takes between the payment gets cleared and the item gets shipped out so let's say someone orders it today today's let's say it's a Monday someone who wears it on Monday and let's say you order it from Walmart the same day chances are Walmart's gonna ship it out the next day so three business days gives you plenty of time to cover you for that five I think is way too much and that actually lowers you in the search results so I would just do three and then you might even want to lower that down to two if you feel and see that Walmart is shipping out your items and you are able to order them very quickly I'm happy to see that you have 30-day returns by your pays for return shipping that's still standard because buyer pays return shipping only means that the buyer will pay if they decided they didn't want the item in other words buyer's remorse if it's something like item gets damaged or the item was not as described or the item arrives late then you would be responsible for shipping it back now with Walmart all you do is contact Walmart and let them know you want to return the item and they'll give you a free prepaid return label that you can then give to this buyer and that buyer with and ship the item back that's one of the beautiful things about drop shipping is that we really don't have to worry too much about returns so with that said you might want to experiment at some point with doing free returns and just see how much it increases your ranking in the search results and if it results in extra sales because people will buy your items more and eBay will raise you in the search results if you offer free returns now you kind of have to you know do your own analysis because obviously that might result in more returns we honestly haven't seen that offering free returns makes too much a difference in the number of returns that we get because what we found was that before people would make up lies about returning it they would get an item decide they don't want it and then lie and say I arrived damaged and you know if I was like a reseller going to thrift stores buying items and then selling them on eBay I might fight that I might ask them to take photos of it because any return I would be paying for but since Walmart is paying for the return anyway and they offer free returns anyway I just always accepted the returns and didn't really fight it so might as well offer free returns but again this is something you might want to just experiment with in the future so I see your photos here you always want to pick for your first photo a really nice one and this one looks really nice but there is some data out there that says that ones would like these clean white backgrounds really allow the customer to see the item better and makes it stand out a little better in this case it doesn't really work so well because it's white on white which is harder to see so I think you did choose the right photo here now one thing it will say is I don't think you have enough photos you want to max it out you are allowed

Segment 3 (10:00 - 15:00)

twelve it or dozen photos you have one two three four five six so even if you have to double them up and do two of the same ones that's fine because again eBay will reward you for having more photos as long as they're high resolution photos which it looks like most of these are this one does look a little bit like fuzzy to me so just make sure these are high-res this one looks a little fuzzy as well it's hard for me to read this I'm not sure why maybe it's a software you use it didn't copy overwrite or that could be the problem with Walmart but just be aware of that you do want the high-res photos and but definitely max them out at 12 now the other concerning thing to me here is that you've advertised this as the white and that this comes in white and obviously this is coming from a website where they sell them in multiple colors because here it is in different colors so I wouldn't have this photo here if these finishes aren't available it's just kind of confusing you only all for white you don't offer any variations I know this is useful because has the dimensions here but I think more than anything this is confusing the other thing that's confusing to me is that this is not even the same dresser here right you see like those the handle is completely different so yeah it's just a little bit strange it's a cool feature that it comes with it this is saying these wall anchors that will prevent the dresser from falling over but I guess is a little bit confusing me as a consumer if it's a different dresser there may be not a big deal but I actually wouldn't use this image right here okay so let's look down at your description now okay so it looks like you're using Auto DES which is great I can tell by the template a really great listing and repricing software to use and with Autodesk allows you to do variations they do variations really well so if this comes in other colors you should be using those you should use the other variations and I do like these templates I think they work really well to make you look really professional so this works fine this is not my favorite template though to each their own but the reason I don't like this is because it says sale limited time less than 24 hours or oh not that part just a sale limited time things like that just seem like over use like what's the sale people might be saying where is the sale happening there's no mark down here so I might use one of the other templates personally for that reason now but I did skip a section which was the item specifics I really like that there are a lot of items specifics here and if you don't know what item specifics are that's where these are things that people can actually search for in the search result site by filtering so they can filter by the color the number of drawers the height and stuff the recommended Kishin things like that some of them are really silly like age group for dresser drawers like its adult yeah it's kind of weird but more and more eBay is requiring more Ida specifics and they've said they really favored when you have more item specifics so the more you have the better and the great thing about Auto Diaz is that it does pull in a lot of item specifics so it's really good that you have plenty of them here to work with and it all looks it looks good I always double-check them though like this one says color and it says does not apply but you know the color is white so I would make sure that's they're coming into here obviously the description looks really nice and I just read this I don't know why this seems like there's a typo in here I think it's always worth it to quickly scan this and make sure that it's makes sense and here this sentence doesn't make any sense so I would have deleted that sentence and the reason one of the reasons we scan it is to make sure that doesn't say anywhere like hey this is coming from Walmart or mentions on your website or phone number or warranty information we delete all that but it just caught my eye that there is a sort of typo or something in here I do like these bullet points Walmart does that so Autodesk pulls in those and I like all this information at the bottom so here

Segment 4 (15:00 - 20:00)

it says we offer free shipping to lower 48 states which is perfect we ship within two business days and at the top you say five business days so you want to make sure that those are the same if you use those personally I'm advising more not to include as much information in here that could possibly change so up here at the top remember it says what your shipping policy is your payment policy your return policy here so when you come down here you don't really need to include it again because let's say that changes let's say you have to increase or decrease your handling time you don't want to have to go inside every single listing to change it so it's better if you just don't include it in the listing and just let it exist up here where it can there where it will automatically change if you change it for all your listings in the future yeah I mean for instance like eBay might be moving away from PayPal so it might be confusing if it says like PayPal here so okay now let's now look at the other tab here are the shipping and payments and this will let us know what states you ship to and stuff so you do have an exact location in here which I'm more of a fan at this time of saying that the item exists in multiple locations because it's a little bit more accurate because this is located in different Walmart warehouses throughout the United States and it's going to ship from the warehouse that's closest to the buyer and I know eBay has asked us for exact zip codes but we've still been using multiple locations and as of this date we have not been punished for it shipped to United States excluding Alaska Hawaii APO FPO u. s. Proctor its am I saying the right protectorates I think I've been saying that wrong my entire life protectorates and Pio boxes so all those are excluded that's perfect for your shipping policies how do you say protectorates so I just looked it up on YouTube and it is protectorates I can't show why I looked up because it'll probably a copyright strike on my video but it's protectorates okay so now I know handling time we will ship within five business days again I would lower that taxes may be applied that's normal now return policy 30 day money back buyer pays we already went over that and here's where it has the payment details so this information you don't need to technically have in all your listings okay so that's pretty much it for this one except I did want to touch on the feedback we're going to come over to your feedback over here and again I'm really happy to see you have so much positive feedback but I want to check out what this neutral is and what this negative one is these do happen obviously you see it hasn't had a huge impact on this store 99. 4% having one negative feedback definitely doesn't make a big difference and neutral feedback doesn't either but it's always nice to remove them when you can so let's look at the negative feedback first not Delta correct the location where's my item I live in Lincoln Park not Taylor so these are saying it was not delivered to look to the correct location where's my item so I'm not sure exactly what happened here what I would suggest is that you look to see if this item was actually delivered and if it was delivered to the correct zip code because if it was you can call up eBay and they should remove this feedback for you if that was really what happened now let's look at the negative ones real quick I've not received my product yet should have shipped one week ago had to call company seemed to be good haven't used much yet so specifically this one seemed to be good I mean neutral feedback again really doesn't matter but this one seems to be good haven't used much yet that's something you could ask the buyer to revise it you could reach out to them and say hey you know what it's you're not really supposed to be reviewing the product here it's just be reviewing me maybe you can change that to a positive feedback instead okay but enough with that seller I'm gonna spend less time on the other ones because I kind of went over most of the important things here okay so this person I like that they have a logo but I don't really

Segment 5 (20:00 - 25:00)

like the logo I mean obviously it's America so I really like the American flag but I think you should have a low a real logo and again a background here you've been around what does it say here if you get you've been around since December 3rd 2019 so only two months now you're doing good you're doing fine so you have 43 feedback in about two months you have 117 items so you are on the right track I would definitely if you could list more again max that out you're doing fine already let's look at the birds see that you're selling right here you sold this one images look high quality but again max it out 12 photos if you can free shipping multiple locations perfect 30 day return buyer pace returns same thing if you can experiment with return shipping that'd be great this is also from this is an Autodesk template I believe it looks good if it's very clean and yeah like your I would pull more item specifics I think you can have more of them here and multiple locations United States free shipping standard shipping money day but yeah so all this looks good as well okay I want to specifically go over let's look at your feedback real quick 100% positive so that's good obviously taking care of customers getting negative feedback removed corner was cracked for this one neutral feedback not something you really have to worry about but this is something you might be able to work out with a buyer okay let me skip to this person that I found specifically so we're gonna look at their store real quick and this is interesting says no sales tax we pay it for you I'm not sure how true that is anymore because eBay is automatically charging sales tax to buyers that's not something you can kind of get around on eBay you can set you be hey don't charge a buyer sales tax we're gonna pay it instead you can't do that so I think what happened here was that this the name of their store used to be like tax-free so like this is the listing and you can see up here it says no sales tax store but they then change their name I think to daily USA deals probably at some point when eBay started change charging sales tax because this buyer has been around since March of 2017 so while so I would update your branding here because it's obviously not accurate anymore and if you do have something up here in the background make it a little bit cleaner and clearer looking this is a little bit fuzzy but obviously you know what you're doing here you're getting a lot of sales this one sold 13 almost 1,400 times you have 4600 feedback so you're definitely doing something right but what I want to specifically look at here which is pretty cool is how much money you're making from this product here you have a very basic like description here just plain text and I think that works fine I think the I do like the templates personally but I don't dislike a plain looking description here I think it does work really well it just looks very clean you know you already have images up here so I don't think it's necessary to have the template that's just something that I tend to like more it looks a little bit cleaner but anyway let's see how much you're selling this for you're selling it for forty seven ninety-nine and it's selling on Walmart for thirty seven eighty eight now the interesting thing is here is that the other day I found this item the other day or this store the other day and they were actually charging five dollars for shipping and now they're not so I'm not sure if that was something they were doing temporarily but at one point at least they were charging an extra for 98 for shipping but I'm gonna ignore that for now so based on that and based on using assuming they're tax free which it sounds like they are when they're buying things from Walmart and they also are not paying for shipping because it's over $35 for free shipping on Walmart they also probably have access to the Walmart credit card which gives them 5% off all their orders so that results in

Segment 6 (25:00 - 29:00)

a total profit per item of five dollars and ninety three cents using that card that's not including using a cash back website which will give you another two percent and does not include if they're using discounted gift cards so this is just a 5% off credit card if they got like 10% off it would increase even more but we're just going to go like the at the very minimum they're making five dollars and ninety three cents per order multiply that by all the orders and that's over eight thousand dollars in profit just from this one item again they could pretty much double that with cash back websites and discounted gift cards which if they're selling as well as they are they probably are taking advantage of those things so that's easily doubled the other person I want to look at is this one right here not as established as the other seller but the are at what was that other sellers feedback ninety-eight point four so you see they don't have to be a hundred percent to do well this person is doing really well about 100 so this is the other seller right here I don't know why no one has ever has any branding I don't think it hurts to have some logo some branding in here you might as well have it feedbacks okay ninety seven point nine four eight hundred thirty six so you are getting feedback you've been around since 2005 so it's been a long time I don't know if you've been selling that whole time maybe it's a newer thing but you and you have one hundred and seventy three listings so I would try to get those listings up if you've been around since 2005 you probably have a high listing limit max out your listings and once you do that you're gonna get more feedback I mean you probably have a high limit you should definitely take advantage of that and really sell more items get more items listed up but specifically I want to look at this one you've sold it four times and what I think is cool about this one is that you are selling two of the same in one order and the reason why this is cool is because this is the item here on Walmart you buy it as a single unit I know the pictures look different but I did some digging around I'm pretty sure I mean the dimensions are the same I'm pretty sure these are the same items what I'm guessing is that Walmart used to have these images and then they updated them to these images but it does seem to be the same item so this item cost $30 that's not free shipping but when you buy two of them that's $60 and $60 is free shipping on Walmart so again factoring in the 5% at least that doesn't include things like cash back or the discounted gift cards and you're looking at a profit of eight dollars and two cents every time someone buys these this 2-pack from you on eBay and now you multiply that by however many sales you get boom you've got a bunch more sales but much more profit again cashback just kind of gift cards that can go up you can pretty much double so I hope you guys enjoy the reviews of those stores if you did I would appreciate it if you smash the like button down below and also check out the description of this video I have a lot of free information in there if you're wondering what type of online business you should start actually have a free quiz in there that you can take that will point you in the right direction so check out that quiz and leave a comment down below if you want to see more of these store reviews and I'll do more of them for you guys in the future and then subscribe to the channel so that you don't miss it make sure it all has that also hit that Bell notification so you actually get alerted when I release that video the next time I do it alright guys thanks so much for watching and see you in the next video bye for now hey thanks so much for watching the video if you want to subscribe to the channel you can do that by clicking right here and then I have two videos for you to check out click on one of those and I'll see you over in that video in just a few seconds
