Get More Fonts for Google Docs and Slides

hi there Jamie heat here today at Teachers Tech we'll be having a great day today I just want to give you a quick tip video on adding more fonts

to Google Docs or Google slides somebody asked me the other day why by default if I take it to take a look at the list under my fonts can we add more like how do I get these good looking fonts to make my projects look better and you can so simply all you have to do is if you've looked through all the menu items and can't find it if you go over to the help and just type get fonts so if I

just start typing get you can see get fonts now you get this list that you can go through and you can click on different one so if I go I scroll down you can see how much longer the list is so if I was just gonna pick let's say for instance shadow in the light I can click multiple ones too so I can go ahead and hit OK and then now if I go to the list and I look for it you can see that shadows into the light is there right there so it quickly adds it to and you can make your changes and right in that font the good thing about this if you make the change in here if you go over to Google slides and I just refresh it here it carries over so if I look if I just click on some fonts here and drop down and go to shadows and the light you can see it's right there too so that's just a quick tip to add some more fonts what you have available to you another way you can do it for an extension here's one that you can add extensions

fonts and you can it's a free add-on for Google Docs it works very easily but one thing I notice once I installed it it's a lot of the same fonts that if you just go through and go to the help and go to get fonts you're going to get a lot of the same fonts from that list too so I hope you liked this quick tip today if you have make sure you share with a few other people because I know they might want to get some more fonts into their Docs and slides too thanks for watching and I'll see you next time
