Smart Compose - New Gmail

hi there Jamie keet here today at Teachers Tech we'll be having a great day today I just got a quick tip for you in the new Gmail and that is smart compose so what is smart compose

if I'm typing an email message and I start typing and you can see how it's going to be auto finishing for me and if I hit tab it goes to the end and it's completed then I don't have to type all that so it's Auto completion let me show you how to quickly set this up in your new Gmail to enable this feature you need to be in the new Gmail so if you're not there yet just go up to your settings and you're gonna see something to try the new Gmail here you can see how he can revert back and forth on it too so the next thing you need to do is just go down to settings go ahead and click on that and you're going to be in the general tab and we're just going to scroll down a little bit and we're looking for experimental access and you can see here it is right here I just need to go ahead and click there and then make sure you go all the way to the very button because any changes you make inside these settings you need to save them also so when you do that when you click that and save everything if I go back to my settings now you can see I have something new and that is smart compose right here defaults that it's on I could turn it off here but you have access to it so if I go ahead and hit compose you can try what I did at the very beginning of this video by writing starting to write something and then tab to the end what I did notice it did take about 10 20 seconds for it to kick in once I started writing the very first time so I hoped you liked this little tip in the new Gmail have lots more tips coming out to make sure that you try all the new features in it so hit that subscribe button thanks for watching today I'll see you next time
