hey what's up Paul here from dropshipping Titans calm and in this video I'm going to show you what eBay's new manage payment system looks like from the sellers perspective now I've been asked a lot from different people what does a new EB manage payment system look like and I haven't been able to answer that question because I personally don't use it I was asked by eBay to use it but I denied that request because I didn't want to use it which we'll talk more about in a minute now real quick what is the manage payment system well eBay for years has been working with PayPal any time you purchase something on eBay it then sends you to PayPal or the checkout is done by PayPal eBay wants to move away from that they want you to put your credit card information on the eBay website so the purchase is made directly on eBay now they've promised that this would streamline the process for us as sellers make the fees smaller and just make it easier for us to manage our accounts and manage our sales because everything's in one place doesn't have half the things on eBay and PayPal now the problem with it is that we if you opt into it you won't be able to use eBay's global shipping program buyers are used to using PayPal so the fear was that buyers wouldn't purchase from you if they couldn't use PayPal and it's just a new system why use something new when the old system worked so well so that's why I decided not to use it but one of my students did use it and he took a screenshot of what it looks like so I wanted to show you that right here and this is a really nice shot he took and he allowed me to share it with you guys so right here at the top you can see it shows you your last payout and the next payout that you're going to receive and down here at the bottom it shows you your payouts every single day so we see that on August 16th he received $482 day before that was 4:23 almost a thousand almost 800 day before that 862 day before that so he's doing really well congratulations on that and this is really great that eBay will pay you out every single day like this and you don't have to wait two weeks like you do with Amazon it's also great that everything is in one place you can see all your fees in one place it definitely will help you keep better track of your profit for each item as well and just having everything in one place just feels more organized so this is what it looks like I'm still not going to switch over one of the other issues they're having is that eBay promised us lower fees so for instance right now when you buy something through or when you sell something through PayPal and eBay they charge you an ebay fee a paypal fee and then PayPal also charges you 30 cents per transaction now a transaction includes one purchase made by a buyer so if a buyer purchases ten different items from you in one purchase it would still be just thirty cents that they charge you now with this managed payment system eBay says the fees would roughly be the same but instead of thirty cents they'll charge just twenty five cents which sounds better but it's twenty-five cents per listing so if someone buys five or let's say four different items from you that would be 25 cents 25 cents done be an extra dollar instead of just 30 cents but if they buy five or the same item from you that's one listing so just be an additional 25 cents so the fees could be lower or they could be higher depending on how buyers purchase items from you so this is what it looks like thanks so much to my student who took the screenshot and let me use it for this video make sure to give him a thumbs up and I also want to share one other thing with you guys if you haven't checked out my eBay dropshipping course yet I will have that linked up down below and the reason I bring it up now is because there will be some updates coming to this course very shortly or within the next couple of months and if you join the course now you will get the course right away and you'll get those updates when they roll out so now is a great time to join and guys thanks so much for watching thanks everyone who gave the video a thumbs up thanks everyone who has subscribed to the channel and I'll see you next time
