Segment 1 (00:00 - 05:00)

I'm 28 years old and as of today, I've generated over $20 million online. But today, I wanted to make this video to share with y'all some of the things I wish I knew before I got started in this journey. So, if you're somebody out there that wants to become financially successful in their life, this is sort of a Needs Declassified school survival guide stuff you need to know to make it happen. I was just watching an Instagram real the other day from some kid who was talking about how he's been in the entrepreneurial journey for around two years and he's seen absolutely no results and he was actually pissed off about it. He was talking about how it seems like everybody around him is just becoming successful overnight and he's been busting his butt for 2 years trying to make this thing work and has still seen no results from it. Does that sound relatable at all? I'm sure it does because that is the majority of people's story. And this internet culture that we've created, I guess people like me are responsible for it and a few of my peers where people see success online has completely smoked out our brain. It's gotten us to believe that we're all inherently supposed to become successful in a very short period of time because the methods that we're studying from these successful people are proven to work. It's the equivalent to a Lean Cuisine frozen meal. We want to eat something good and we want it right now. I bring this up because it brings me to my first point that I want to talk about. And it's that there is going to be a very long and painful period of your journey where [ __ ] is just not clicking the way you want it to and is further exasperated by all the time that you spend on social media consuming content of people who are figuring this [ __ ] out right in front of your face. It makes you feel like the timing that you're on is incorrect and that you are inherently flawed as a person. And I'll be real with you guys, I can connect with this on an extremely deep level. Not only did I experience those emotions heavily when I was a teenager, but even now as a grown man, 28 years old, I'm dealing with these things often. Like just to really put it into the picture for you guys, I have been an educator in the e-commerce space for a long time, for over 10 years. I've done millions and millions of dollars in sales with drop shipping. I built one of my stores. I sold it for a life-changing amount of money and now I own a portfolio of brands doing millions of dollars a year. Ecom is my thing. But to be frank with you guys, it's been a little while since your boy started a brand new drop shipping store from scratch. So I said, you know what? I'm going to go and start to build one of these projects for fun in my free time. So I've been spending 2, three hours a day over this last couple weeks trying to get a store off the ground, and it has been absolutely kicking my butt. And it completely messes with my head when I then go and watch these YouTube drop shipping challenges of people who make this [ __ ] work in 24 hours. From this process of like going back to the beginning just as an experiment, it really put me in the perspective of where a lot of you guys are at right now. And it made it the reason why I wanted this to be the first point of this video that I wanted to talk about. This period, whether it's going to take a couple of weeks or a couple of months, is a right of passage that you must go through if you ever expect to be successful. And the cold hard truth is that 99% of people end up quitting in this space. So, if you can just simply stick it through this initial painful period, you will be able to find massive success. But I'm going to be the one to tell you that this period exists. And I'm not going to be the one to tell you that you're going to make this [ __ ] happen in 14 days cuz it's not the reality. If I was sitting down somebody who wanted to get rich, this is the very first thing that I would tell them almost as a sort of disclaimer before they get started so they could know what to expect. It's no different than when you hop on a plane and a pilot's letting you know that there's going to be a bit of turbulence on the way. When it happens, you don't get scared. You're pretty calm because he warned you and you were expecting it. So, expect that same turbulence in the beginning of your journey. and just understand that everybody goes through it, even the people that have already made millions of dollars. This leads me to the next thing I want to talk about, and that is frequency. I'm not really gonna edit this video, but I'm going to throw this up on screen right now. It's called a consciousness map. This is something that I found in a book like 6 years ago called Power Versus Force. And if you can understand this map, you will be able to make any single one of your dreams come true in your life. The basic thesis is that at any given moment in our life, we are operating at a certain level of frequency. All the way at the bottom, we have the lowest levels and all the way at the top, we have the levels that we'll never reach. I mean, enlightenment has only been reached by Jesus and Buddha and these other spiritual leaders of all of humanity. Now, I could make a 45minute video about this consciousness map, but when you see

Segment 2 (05:00 - 10:00)

this map on screen, what level do you think you are currently operating at? If I had to guess, I would say the vast majority of people watching this video are operating from a place of fear. And guess what? From that position, you can achieve great things. It's just going to be way slower and way harder. We all have big goals and we want to achieve big things, right? But what happens is the fear of those things going wrong takes our state of consciousness and lowers it down to the point where it makes it harder to do the things that we need to get done. It's almost like we are sabotaging ourselves by living in these lower states of frequency. Again, this can be a full video. I might even do one on my second channel. But just explore this a little bit more. Just take a deep look inside of yourself and say, "What level am I currently operating at? " And I can almost guarantee that a lot of you guys will find that this is a big thing that's holding you back. To be fair, I've been in that orange level of the map. I've been operating from a place of fear lately. anger lately. I've been not in my very best version of myself. And the work still gets done, but it's not coming from a place of love. this pure place of joy, which is the language of God. It's just sort of coming to get done so things don't fall apart. And this is just me being as real as I could get with y'all. I'm done with all this ultra scripted fake [ __ ] I just want to tell you guys about my real life. And sometimes this [ __ ] is not all sunshine and rainbows. All right? If you rate that, hit the subscribe button. We about to get to 2 million subs. And if you don't, go watch the next guru cuz there's 500 of them on here. Now, just as a quick piece of advice on how to level up this map, the easiest thing I found is to simply have gratitude for what you do have in your life and then do the necessary actions that you need to do to get closer to your goal. The more you think about things, the more you put stuff off, the more these negative emotions build up and the more you sink down on this map. So, there's stuff that you know you need to do today, do it and you're instantly going to climb up the map. And at the end of the day, thank God for the day and be grateful that you did those things and watch yourself just climb. And then as the days go on, watch how everything in your life gets easier because you're operating from a place of love. Next thing I want to talk about is I see a lot of beginners getting into these fields that are very much short-lived. If I was sitting down my 18-year-old self today, I would tell them straight up, pick a game that you want to play for a long time. Everybody is romanticizing the one to twoyear blow up, but then what happens after that? After you blow up, you still have to keep maintaining and growing this thing that you started. It's not like you get rich and you get out. Even the people that sell their companies for hundreds of millions of dollars usually stay involved for the next couple years that follow. So that's why I'm saying pick a game that you want to play for a long time. Every single time you switch ideas is the equivalent to hitting the reset button and starting all the way over again. It's actually closer to the equivalent of you go into a video game and you click on new game. Okay? Like, yeah, you have all the knowledge of the map, but you're starting a new character with zero attributes, and you have to build them up all the way again from scratch, and our monkey brains get excited about this concept because the newness and the mystery of it all, but it's actually [ __ ] When I look at my circle of friends that are the most successful, there's a couple kids that stand out. I won't talk about their company, but they're younger than me. They're 25 and 26. And my boy just told me the other day that he just had $200 million in his bank account. Now, I got a lot of friends that like to talk about revenue, but this dude told me at his $5 million mansion in Coral Gables with a basketball court in the backyard that he had made over $100 million liquid. That was the first time anybody ever said that to my face that was in their 20s. And we were chatting and I was like, "What is the secret of you and your team? what is the thing that allowed you guys to do that while everybody else stays stuck? And he told me it was one thing. He said, "Jordan, I think there is a point after about 6, 7, 8 years of doing something where things just start to take off exponentially. The project that they were working on was completely failing for the first 3 years of its initiation and then it was publicly failing. So everybody around them was making fun of them, talking bad about their project, hating on them for what they were doing, and just basically talking down on the thing that they were building. Now, the majority of people in that situation are obviously going to dip and go build something else. But these boys stuck to the plan and stayed on this project. Fast forward, all the dots ended up connecting a couple years later, and in the end, they looked like the geniuses because their company skyrocketed and they were in the right place at the right time. Now, there's another way that story goes where once they get all this hate, they switch paths and go do something else. And then what happens to this story? They're doing maybe okay on a new thing, but

Segment 3 (10:00 - 15:00)

that infliction moment of where things take off never got to be reached. If I look back at my career, I would have to say that this has been the single biggest fault in my action. I would say I've stuck with YouTube now for well over 10 years, and that's become the thing that I've been the most known for. But when it comes to businesses, I've started a new business every single year on the year quite consistently. And every business that I launch goes on to make millions of dollars. But I haven't had that just big, you know, [ __ ] you, money in the bank, multiund million success that I always dreamed of. And for me, I think the reason for that is very clear. It's that I haven't stuck with something for long enough to make it work. Just to really back in to the point of why I'm making this video, if you're somebody getting started in your journey, you have to give these things some thought. Business is not a game where you get to play for one year. As long as you stay alive, you play this for life. So, why not position yourself in a game that you want to play for as long as humanly possible. Just something to think about. I want to tie it together with just a couple more things I've been thinking about very recently. After I cut my hair and made the last video, everybody has this like idea that like I'm some sort of like minimalist now or something. That's not the case. I still have jewelry. I still have a super nice car that I didn't post yet. I live in a penthouse. Like, none of these things are true. Okay? It just made me realize what was more important to me and it brought me back to center, which I needed at that point in my life. But I really want to bring this point home and say that I'm not about to get on some arc and be like, "Oh, you don't need money. Resist all material possessions. " In fact, I would go as far as saying that it's important for you to make as much money as humanly possible. Even the great philosophers of the world don't shun money. From a position of wealth, you can pursue philosophy and religion and health at a significantly higher level and be a bigger asset to the world at large. Money is not bad. Do not look at money as the root of all evil. You should try to make as much money as humanly possible because the things that you can do for yourself, your family, and the world at large are tremendous. and they're not possible without some financial resource. Now, what I did realize is most people are doing dumb [ __ ] with their money. And I'm one of them. Maybe I'm one of the poster childs of doing dumb [ __ ] with their money. I have fully come to terms with the fact that all of the lifestyle and material stuff is genuinely [ __ ] and a waste of your efforts. Our society has completely romanticized it. But take it from me as someone who has now spent millions and millions of dollars doing luxury travel, flying private, buying supercars, buying houses, apartments, eating every restaurant, every like every luxury thing. I was thinking about this the other day. Every luxury thing possible, I've done it. I've literally been to every major party. I've been to most of the biggest countries in the world. I've stayed at all the best brands of hotels. I've flown private a bunch. Like, there's nothing else that I can do. And the grand conclusion that I came to about all of it is that it's all pointless and it's all a waste of money. So again, if I could talk with little 18-year-old Jay Welch, I would tell him, "Yo, look, bro. I know you come from nothing. I know you're really excited to go try these things. Go out there, try them a little bit. Get your taste of it. But as you continue up the ladder, I promise it just gets like this much better. " Like the difference between staying at a five-star presidential suite versus staying at the five-star junior suite is not that big of a difference. and it's $30,000 more. But money aside, mentally you don't feel any better. Yeah, you feel like a king when two people escort you up to the penthouse suite and they welcome you in the room and it's got a freaking fruit bowl with your name on it. But once that settles and you ate the fruit and the bowl is sitting there dirty and you wake up the next morning and you got to go outside the room and go do a bunch of other [ __ ] it's literally worth like, bro, we just spent almost half a million dollars on a weekend in Coachella. I'll give the credit more so to TJR because he fit the big bill of everything, but I put damn near close to 100 grand into the weekend. And for what? Yeah, we had like a crazy crib and the best afterparty and all access, but it's like for what, bro? I this [ __ ] ain't doing nothing for me lately. So, anyways, all this stuff is completely pointless. Get a taste of it and then get the [ __ ] out because that's what I'm coming to terms with and that's what I'm realizing. And the last thing that I want to say because I think it's very important to talk about is that you are already rich. If you've got your parents in your life, youth and your health and you've got God in your life, listen to me when I say that I want you guys to get as rich as possible. make millions of dollars and I'm going to keep making videos that help you do that. But do not lose stock of the fact that you are already in possession of the most valuable things that you will ever hold. And don't get so lost in the pursuit of chasing dollars that you miss the best thing that you will ever have in your life. If you're somebody watching this video right now in your

Segment 4 (15:00 - 15:00)

20s or your 30s and you have these things, there is a billionaire out there right now that will give you his entire net worth to trade places with you and you're still losing sleep at night because your dropshipping store only made two sales yesterday and you just saw a 14-year-old buy a Corvette Z01 with the exact same business model. Get a grip.
