Segment 1 (00:00 - 03:00)

Hey everyone, my name is Jack and today I'm excited to walk you through tag reporting in this Sprout Bites video. The tag performance report allows us to quantitatively measure the number of outbound posts that we're tagging as well as the number of inbound posts that are also receiving tags. From the overview, we can get a quick view of a dedicated period of time. How many outbound posts were published that were tagged? How many sent messages From an inbound perspective, what types of messages that were tagged were received? As well as from that publish piece, what was the overall performance of those tagged posts? So, if we're curious to understand over a dedicated period of time, how did certain tags perform? How are things looking from a campaign perspective? We're able to leverage that from the tag performance report. Depending on what we're looking to measure, having tag collection set up allows us to easily organize our tags so that if we just wanted to focus on a certain set of tags, we can filter for those and see what those look like as opposed to viewing all the tags there. From the trends view, we can start to see from both publish and inbounds where we were posting with these tags or what were those trends from an outbound perspective. We can then see from a received message volume how many messages were received from an inbound perspective. Were there any spikes that we would consider an emergency or something higher volume than usual? Was there a campaign that we posted on a specific day where we saw a high return in owned comments? I'm going to quickly clear my filters here. But from the tags view, this will give us the metrics associated with each of the tags posts both for outbound and inbounds. So, if we wanted to see for a specific set of publishing tags, I'll choose SPT pets here. We can see not only what were those outbound posts that we published with those tags that drew engagement, views, and impressions. We can also see what our sent messages were, what our received messages were. You can click on the used with tags view, and this will showcase for a specific tag, how many other tags were applied to posts with those tags. We can see for the 76 published posts with Sprout Pets as the tag that 28 of those posts also received the retail pet tags too. We can then filter this by engagement rate, for example, to see of these cross tags performance, which ones were generating the highest return on engagements when they're tagged with the Sprout Pets tag as well. So, when you're going through the smart inbox, highly recommend leveraging tags to qualify the types of messages that you're receiving from an inbound perspective, as well as using tags to capture your outbound post. Whether that's for campaign reporting, whether that's if you want to track a specific type of content to see how it's performing. All that data will then roll through into the tag performance report where we can start to see those associated metrics. So, highly recommend leveraging tags and the tag performance report.
