Cointreau - will it carbonate? The extra loud squeaky one

It's a while since I've carbonated beverage and I just so happen to have a bottle of Cointreau here. I'm very posh. But the day calls for a very different type of carbonation. You see, the SodaStream has been retired temporarily because one of the bottles disintegrated and instead I'll be using Drinkmate. Hold on, I'll just unsnap that. It says Drinkmate. Lovely. Let's put the Cointreau into the bottle. Ah, [sighs] the sound of a seal breaking. In it goes. Sacrilege to some, but joy to others. — [snorts] — Uh, so far very few things have failed to carbonate spectacularly. However, note that because I don't have a small bottle, this isn't all the way up, but that's okay. So this clicks on like this, right? And then it magnetically attaches into the unit like this. This is my favorite carbonator at the moment. Swings down and it won't fart, but we can listen and see what noises it makes. That'll do. Triple fartulation. It sounds like torture to me. Then you swing it up and you can take it straight out. And then you can do terrible things like this. Shake it, shake it, shake it like a Polaroid picture. Um, but you shouldn't shake Polaroid pictures. You probably shouldn't shake this either, but anyway, I've done it. So we'll just have to pay the consequences. Then on this one cuz it's like, you know how SodaStream say you shouldn't SodaStream anything but water. Well, Drinkmate say SodaStream whatever you want. You want to stick white wine in this, you do it because you can release the pressure in a controlled manner. There's the slow release, which looks pretty promising, and there's a turbo release, it's the blue button. Oh. This is a loud video. My apologies. Oh, look at that. And at any time if it's getting too busy with the fizzy, you can click the lid down. That's good, isn't it? This has seen much white wine. I think this is looking promising. Uh-huh. That extra space looks advantageous. That is it and you can't take the top off until it's depressurized. They've put a lot of thought into this. Ooh. Let's pour some. Uh, I'll just pour myself a huge glass of Cointreau, shall I? Oh, you know what? It doesn't look that fizzy, does it? Is it fizzy though? Mmm. — [snorts] — Oh, always burping out my nose. It's fizzy. Is it good? Mmm. Mmm. Hell yeah. A fizzy Cointreau. That is yet another party starter.
