Segment 1 (00:00 - 05:00)

Robots doing our home maintenance tasks might seem like years away, but in your backyard, it doesn't have to be. Even today, there are all kinds of robots you can use to automate the maintenance of your pool and yard that I think a lot of people don't know about. Today, I'm going to show you guys the newest inard maintenance tech from a company called MOA. Starting with what I think is the coolest thing, this robot lawn mower. I've always wanted a nice grassy lawn, but I didn't want to have to spend time or pay someone to mow it each week. At my Palm Springs house, I have turf, but I would much prefer real grass. Now, in 2026, you can have a robot do it for you. So, this right here is the Mova Lidax 3000, and this is like the top of the line with robot lawnmowers. And full disclosure, MOA is sponsoring this video. It's really rare for me to agree to do a sponsored video that's all about the product. I only do it for products that I think are super cool, like this one. I really want to thank MOA because them sponsoring a video like this makes it possible for me to make so many other videos that end up not being sponsored. I very rarely do a video that's all about a product. For me, it has to be a really cool product. And a robot lawn mower. I just thought that was such a cool product. I love to see that this technology is actually usable now. So, I agreed to this one because after trying it out, I actually thought it was a fantastic product. So, I'll show you all the cool features of it. So, one of the pros of this robot lawn mower is it's way easier to set up than past robot lawnmowers where you would have to put this wire on the ground and have an antenna. This one, because it has lidar, it's much easier. Liar is really the game changer here because robot lawnmowers have been around, but nobody used them because they were super annoying to set up. You had to lay down all these wires, put up an antenna, be precise. It's able to do centimeter level navigation even in complex layouts or harsh lighting conditions like at night. And it has all-wheel drive. As you can see, the tires are pretty rugged. So, if you have a backyard that has hills, it's no problem. It can do a max of an 80% slope, and it can deal with more rugged or uneven terrain. This is something that some of the other robot lawnmowers are not going to be able to do. So, let's see how long it takes me to set it up in my friend's backyard. Scan this here. And so, like any smart home product, we are going to connect it to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Then, it also has us set up a pin. And we're ready to start mapping the backyard. So, pretty simple to get the app up and running. And it does have a charging dock, so it can go here automatically when it's done and charge itself back up. So, now we are going to create a map of the garden. So, we're just going to click start mapping. So, the first map you actually make yourself by remote controlling it. And then after that, you can have it make its own autoboundary map using LAR. So, I'm first just going through and making a really simple basic map. I'm not even doing the whole backyard. I'm showing like a quick rough map. So, this is pretty easy and honestly kind of fun remote controlling it. It feels sort of like a toy. And I didn't make this absolutely perfect cuz I knew that the LAR would probably do a better job than me. And it took about 5 minutes. I made a path back to the dock and we were ready to go. And you can see within the app the map that you're creating. And you can actually make multiple maps. So, if you have a front and backyard, you can create separate map for that and have a path for it to go from each. Okay. We just created a zone. For first mowing, it's recommended to do 5 cm. So, we'll go ahead and do that. I'm just going to go ahead and click start. And it's going to go from the path to the zone, obviously, without mowing yet. Position itself, and then it'll start mowing. Positioning itself. All right. And it's doing it. So, obviously, for the sake of this being a bit more entertaining to watch, I did speed up the footage of it mowing cuz it would be a little bit boring. But, in general, I thought it mowed at a good, pretty quick pace. What I think is really cool about this is how quiet it is. A normal lawn mower is quite loud. And this, you know, it sounds like a little machine, but it is so much quieter. Like, if you shut the door in your house, you really wouldn't hear it. Just the fact that it's electric and doesn't have some kind of engine makes it way quieter. Even when it's cutting the grass, like I'll leave this background audio in, it is not loud at all. Like, I could still hang out here and not be annoyed. So, not only will you love it, but your neighbors will love this thing, too. So, the way it actually cuts the grass is using these high-owered dual discs to cut them. It spans 15. 8 in. And here's what it looks like. As you can see, each of them has six blades. And each area is cut twice for more consistent results. And it also has auto floating discs. So, if it detects turf, it won't cut it. And it's just doing a simple back and forth pattern that I think looks really neat when it's all finished. You can kind of see the lines in the grass. And it's perfectly straight line. I feel like in these shots, you can really see a bit of the before and after. And I had it going to 5 cm. You can cut the grass even shorter than this, but it does recommend for the first time cutting it to do 5 cm rather than shorter. And then you can always go through again and cut it a little bit shorter if you want. But the reason you just do 5 cm the first time is you don't want the clippings to be too long. So here's what it looks like if you do 5 cm. I think that's a really good height. It looks great. It looks clean, not too short. And then we go over here. This is the area that we didn't mow yet. See how it's like a lot

Segment 2 (05:00 - 10:00)

longer? But all this area is looking great. And I just love how it does it so quietly. It's not like a loud annoying lawn mower. So, it did a great job mowing the section that I created, but like I mentioned before, it can create its own autoboundary map. So, I wanted to show you guys this. So, I'm having it explore the boundaries on its own right now. It'll probably do a better job at it than I did. So, love this. Yeah, look at it going all the way up to the edge. So, this time we're going to do the whole yard. And I basically just hit go and it's doing everything on its own. Having a LAR sensor rather than just a camera is a gamecher because it can see things in 3D. So it knows not to get these plants. And this is a pretty basic backyard setup for a robot lawn mower, but I've seen videos of it in some more advanced terrain. And the lighter really makes it so it knows what's around it. Okay, so I'm really dying to try out the shapes. So in the area that we have not yet mowed, let's add some shapes. Let's do a little heart maybe. Oh my god, that's so funny. Put it kind of like over here. Oh, wait. No, a star. Let's do a star. Okay, so we're going to put a little star over here. Let's actually cut a little bit shorter. We'll do 4 cm. Here's a look at the before. It's been about a week since this lawn was mowed. And it does look a little grown, a little uneven, not terrible, but we're just going to cut it down to 4 cm for a nice clean look. Another really important feature is this robot lawnmower has obstacle detection for over 300 items. So that includes sprinklers, wildlife, pet waste, and it also has added in anti- theft protection. You can go in and look through one of the cameras, and you can even talk through a microphone. It has location tracking. It has an extra added storage spot for an air tag. It actually has an alarm and it does have the pin, so if someone tries to steal it, they're not going to be able to even use it. And even when it's not mowing, you can still have it patrol the yard for extra home security. It also has precision edge cutting, so it's able to get really close to the edge, like up to 1. 2 in. You're going to have like a nice clean look. You don't have to go in with other tools. It can handle the whole area. This is something that with a typical lawnmower, you need a whole other tool to get the edge. With this robot lawnmower, it can just do it all. So, you don't need multiple tools and you don't have to do it yourself. And here, you can really see the before and after where it mowed. It looks so much cleaner. And then it's going over the area at the end where it was mowing the star more precisely. It's a little bright so you can't really tell that there's a star on camera, but I think if you did this in some darker grass, you could see it. Or even just longer grass and have it cut a lot shorter. Did in fact create a star over here. It's kind of hard to see it though in the daylight. And this is going to turn out better if you do it where the grass color is a little more even. Here it's not as even. I probably should have done it over there. So you can't tell quite as much. So that's one little tip if you really want to see it. Actually might have it just go through and cut all of this. But yeah, pretty cool that you can do different shapes. That's just kind of fun. Maybe if you're having a party or something, you can put some shapes in there. Just I don't know, why not? It's kind of fun. So I just created a zone in the app where the star was and targeted that area for it to mow and it did it in like 5 minutes. So say you put a shape there for a party or something like that and then the next day you wanted it gone. Super easy to do this. Or if you just want to touch up one area of your yard. This yard is probably like 40 ft x 15 ft that we're mowing, but it can actually go up to 230 ft. So, here is a look at the before like we saw earlier and the after. It looks so clean and nice. So, here we just did the backyard, but what if you also wanted to do your front yard? Well, it actually has dual map management, so you can do both. You don't need two separate robots for your front and backyard. You can just create two separate maps. And then you can also create a path so that it can go from the front to the backyard. It has all-wheel drive, so it can go on concrete and stuff like that. Like it doesn't just have to be on grass. That's one of the benefits of this one. And in the MOA home app, you can create custom settings for each zone. So maybe you need one area mode twice a week, but another area you just want it mode Wednesday at 10:00 a. m., you can set that. There's like all these different customizations you can do within the app. You can also create no-go zones, but it has really good obstacle detection, so you don't really need to worry about like if you left something like a hose, for example, in the yard, it's going to detect that and go around it. Overall, I found this robot lawn mower really easy to use. I like that the setup was pretty seamless. Didn't have to lay down a bunch of wires, and I just loved how quiet it was. Those gas lawnmowers are super loud and annoying. I want everyone to have one of these so I don't have to listen to it. So, let's check out the pool cleaner that Mofa came out with. They have two new ones. They sent me the Diver A10. It's a cordless robotic pool cleaner, but they also have another one, the X10. It can actually skim the surface of a pool. It's a little more expensive, but that's pretty cool cuz there's not very many out there that are able to actually skim the surface. But let's take a closer look at the A10. This is more of an entrylevel robotic pool cleaner. It's normally $800, but right now it's on sale for $550. And this is the perfect pool cleaner if you live in a windy area like my house in

Segment 3 (10:00 - 14:00)

Palm Springs and there is stuff getting on the bottom of your pool, but it also has some other features I'll show you. This setup is even easier than the lawn mower. You really just connect to Wi-Fi, update the firmware, and you can put it in the pool. There's a bunch of different cleaning modes. You can do complete clean, you can do just the floor. I like to do just the floor where I live because it gets windy. Leaves get into the pool and sometimes just the floor needs to be like vacuumed. You could do just the walls if you want. For the sake of putting it to the test, I did put some extra stuff in my pool for it to clean up. Got a bunch of dirt. It actually kills me to do this right now. But I wanted to simulate the aftermath of a really windy day because out here in the desert, sand can definitely get in your pool and it's hard to clean out. So, let's just go ahead and do a complete clean because now it kind of needs it. Put the robot in the water. We'll let it do its thing. We don't have to do any kind of mapping. It just knows what to do. So, it's able to get around, climb up the walls and everything because it's using a lot of suction power, 6,000 GPH to be exact, enough to kind of lift itself out of the pool and clean the pool tiles. And that's one of the coolest features is that it's able to scrub at the water line. I really like that it cleans the water line. So, where my pool tiles are, if you're not regularly scrubbing that area, it does end up getting this kind of like residue. And over time, some of these have really gotten some like staining. But the water line, that is where any oils, any sunscreen, any kind of algae, if your pool isn't getting cleaned regularly, that's where it's hanging out and it is going to like get onto the tile right there. If you have that regularly scrubbed, it'll look a lot better. It actually goes quite high. It goes 5 cm above the water line. So, it's really making sure it's cleaning that whole area. It does two scrubbing passes to make sure it gets anything on that water line off. The nice thing about it having this strong suction power is it's able to even climb stairs. So, most pools have stairs or they have a shelf and it can get up there and clean these as well. I cleaned my parents pool with the A10 as well. So, some of these shots are from their pool. That's why it looks a little different, but it's cool to see it underwater in action. And just like the robot lawn mower, it's super quiet. When it's under the water, you don't hear it at all when you're above water. Actually, I'll leave some background audio in here so you guys can hear it. So, I can be chilling by the pool or in the pool like I am right now, and you really don't even notice it. It integrates AI with six precise sensors to navigate the pool with accuracy. And it also has obstacle detection, so larger objects it's going to go around. It has three different cleaning patterns, SN, and a star pattern to get like full cleaning accuracy. The most satisfying part though is seeing it pick up the sand. A lot of times what'll happen, even if you have a pool cleaner where I live, it can be windy and the day after the pool cleaner comes, there's already stuff at the bottom of the pool. The pool cleaner is great for balancing the chemicals and everything, but they're not coming daily clean up anything at the bottom of the pool. So, that's why it's nice to just be able to throw one of these vacuums in and have it just clean it up every day. This is exactly what happened at my parents house. It was super windy the day after the pool cleaner came, so I put it in their pool to clean, too. There's some leaves on the ground. It has a run time of 240 minutes and can clean 180 square meters of pool area. So, you really don't have to worry about it not being able to clean your whole pool. It's going to be able to do it really no problem. That's like 4 hours of cleaning time if you're doing the floor and 3 hours walls and water line. And it goes over the same area several times in one cleaning session to get all the leaves and sand. So, by the end of the cleaning, all the leaves and sand was gone out of this pool. Sometimes it'll clean a section then go to the other end of the pool. Sometimes it'll stay in one area and clean. It just depends on what cleaning mode that you have on. But say you just want to get the floor clean. If it's a windy day though, I like to do just a floor cleaning because usually it doesn't really need the walls scrubbed. It just need whatever's on the floor off of there. These pool robot vacuums are awesome if you have a lot of trees near your pool, so you're always having leaves fallen. You know, skimming the top is not that difficult to do yourself, but getting things off the bottom manually, that is like almost impossible without one of these. Check this out. So, it got all the leaves. All the leaves out. The filter is 3. 5 L. So, you can see there's quite a bit we could still put in there. And then also has this ultra fine mesh filter which is going to get those fine little pieces of dirt, sand, things like that. And if you have a tanning ledge, there is a mode for that too where it will just go do like the little tanning ledge. So, that's a look at some of MOA's backyard technology. I'll link these products below. And thank you guys for watching. I'll see you in the next video. Bye.
