black magic design creating revolutionary solutions for film post production and television yeah can I tan in here you can try hello this is Haley in Indiana we're covering NAB 2024 for no film school and I'm excited to introduce you to morit Mel who is the head of sales at dop choice so talk to us what is new at NAB yeah the new snapex you all already saw them at the uh they have the new uh thank you okay snap shape oh cool and uh they uh allow the new Astra to tilt down so it's very nice and uh shows the full benefit of the new lights and here we have our new air glow which is a inflatable book light works with every 2x1 panel how do you inflate it uh just Pump It Up with a standard pump that you use for your uh stand up pedal or something else wow it's easy to pump it's set up in 5 minutes and it's just stands on the light that means you don't have an extra stand you can move it around in your setting and um yeah you're good to go in 5 minutes and it's very lightweight you can carry it around and yeah that's it and I hear and I see you have magic cloth on it which is the best diffusion on the market yes it is it comes with three diffusions magic glove half grid and full uh quarter grid so you can change it and use however you want it I love magic cloth so much you guys this is the best okay so this is airglow yeah should be open it I would love to here thank you whoa so it's up and back oh wow so is it kind of like a double break or something like or water falling like the light where you're getting the double bounce ex exactly you have a very soft light especially for interview situations or uh portrait yeah can I tan in here you can try I put my cats it's like the cats would love it yeah because it's like the sun anyway but probably they will break it yeah exactly yeah they would definitely yeah a this is so fun wow yeah you have an ultra bounce back here so this bounce very nice you can also insert an hard silver for more bounds or you can have an muslin to uh have a very soft light in it wow all right can we get a closeup on morat and I'll look at the light the difference of quality of light when we come off okay great perfect so we're looking at more all right so that's with the magic cloth removed but just it bouncing up into the ultra bounce and out and then let's attach that here wow look how beautiful that is I mean the eyl light's amazing too obviously and stuff let's always do interviews in front of these lights hay you look good in front of all of the modifications that's amazing beautiful yeah it's very easy and um maybe we can uh hold it show you how to mount it yes please wow and so you have the cream sauce Vortex 8 yes okay cool yeah but it also works with every other two by one panel with the Aries uh with the uh light panels light gear everything you just is this available now it is available now outside of the US and uh around June is it's available in the US okay Co yeah so it sits on the light it just uh goes over here and two straps and you're done so it's uh you can Al mount it upsides down when the light is hanging down you uh you can uh do this what brightness is this what luminance is this at right now at the moment it's on 100% okay cool but yeah it depends on the light you use uh how much output you have yes I'm wondering I have a shoot on Saturday can I beg Stefan to use it I might I'm going to ask him you're not the first person asking that let's decide that later okay good I love that it's going to be a no but I'll ask does it cost to buy oh yeah what is the retail uh the retail price list price is around 12250 so that's around,00 us which is pretty amazing because it keeps everything like slim together and the softness that you normally get by having a lot of gak around exactly yeah it's flexible it's light and uh we had one uh gaffer over earlier he said oh it's good for traveling because you can just check the bag with everything and you always have a 2X one light at the set but uh and uh to have an uh book light is always a hassle and it weighs nothing because it's just air exactly amazing that's so cool wow that's awesome and then um can we talk about the light Bridge situation you have here as well so I'm a big fan of the light Bridge number two okay it's my favorite thing sorry in the world so yeah so uh the light Bridge uh gives you the mirror as a reflection for with the light and we added the snap Bridge around so you have an ultra bound side to extend the uh reflecting material or you can use it the other way around you

have a black blackout around so you can concentrate the light on the small uh mirrow here and then you have day gray and blue and all that we just add this one it's new we have multiple muslin colors to give you a light colored uh reflection uh which just improves your shoots and fantastic I think quite nice and so this is just like yeah obviously it's a different modification because like you do get a lot of spill around these which you can use to enhance like your actual shoe rather than just have it like bounce into whatever environment you're shooting in which is cool I love that That's so exciting I'm a big fan of light Bridge so I love that you're working with literally everyone yeah we excited to you're like a company that adapts to everything out on the market and so your audience is always like everyone so this is great I love that That's so exciting what else do we have sir we have the uh adapters for the x21 panel from AR should we go around yeah let's do it so this is our existing OCTA 5 with rabbit GE system probably everyone had seen that but we adapted our rabbit ear system with new adapters for the x21 so you're good to go here with your existing equipment just at the adapters and uh you are set for the future very cool wow I mean the amount of products you have now are like amazing you're just so accessible and accommodating to everything like it's awesome we try to have something for everyone you succeed I think yeah we also have the airglow that we saw earlier in a one by one session uh situation for Vortex 4 and also other smaller lights it's over at the cream sauce booth and there should be coming something bigger as well maybe in syar okay yeah a few months away one month yeah I think June yeah oh my God all right coming around debuting a larger one we're excited about it that's awesome wow well dop choice is a fantastic company we love what you guys are doing on a personal level you're awesome so thank you so much Mars we really appreciate the time such a pleasure always thank you bye
