FOOTBALL PROJECT #8: New API!!

So, hello and welcome back. I've been hearing you that some of you, not all of you, which is so weird, can't have access to the data. They are the ones Some of you are limited to all seasons, and the point of this is you can actually use whatever we build. So, new API, folks. But, before we do anything drastic, I need to know that this works with you. So, the new API is called www. football-data. org. We have used this API before. There is no reason to use it now is because I didn't find it. But, you know, there are millions of APIs, so we're going to use this if it works for all of you. So, you guys need to test it first, so I know if I should do something or not. So, this is what we're going to do. We I publish this video, you test it, and let me know in the comments, those of you that didn't work, if it is working now. And if it's working, we will go through the whole thing again just to set the table. So, we'll do everything in one video because, my god, we would be here till tomorrow. So, how you work this out. football-data. org. You need to create an account. Once you create an account, the first page is going to be your API key. Then, I want you to try these calls. So, this is API football data. This is the version for the competition the La Liga is PD, which means Primera División, first league in Spanish. And the matches, and then season 2025. And then I want you to go through the matches list and see if you can see the matches for this season. If you can, you let me know in the comments, and then on the next video, I will actually show you. We will do the same thing, why not? I mean, we're doing this for practicing to get data from API. So, this is a new API, we'll do it, but I will do it in one video. So, we will get the matches, the standings, and the teams. I've already tested and everything is working for me. You need to check that it works for you. And then, if it works for you, we'll do that video, and then we will, you know, finalize the report. So, I will put all the details on the description box in the video. Just let me know if everything works. And next week, we will change the API if it's working for everybody. What am I Like, what am I saying? But, this is what it is working with data. This is real life. Sometimes you go down a rabbit hole, it doesn't work, you need to change, and you just need to change and start over. So, let's do it. Let's start over.
