The sandbox is a special type of environment that you can create when you want to either have shared development or you want to use it for testing. So within the power platform, we have this process called application life cycle management where you are going to move your solutions that you're creating in the power platform from development to testing to production. And sandbox environments are typically used for either development or testing because in a sandbox environment you can have multiple users and those multiple users can have different security roles within the sandbox. So you can have users who are all makers if you're share in development or you can have users who are makers and some who are just basic users if you're using it for testing. The sandbox environment can have a data versse database backing it. And some interesting things about sandbox environments besides the fact that you can have multiple people in there with multiple security rules is you can fully reset a sandbox environment and wipe it clean.
