ChatGPT's NEW Model Is Coming THIS WEEK.

Well, the rumor mills are churning. There are some very reputable sources that claim that OpenAI, the creator of ChatGBT, is releasing a new model as soon as tomorrow. And if it's as good as promised, it should close the gap for OpenAI and put them back on top as the best AI model out there. So, this all started a few weeks ago when Google released their new Gemini 3, and the internet sort of lost its mind. People love this model right from the start and the benchmarks alone just put Gemini 3 Pro above any other model out there pretty much across the board. Now, benchmarks don't always translate to real world results, but in this case, I know for myself personally, I've barely been using Chat GBT recently because I'm almost exclusively using Gemini just because of how much better it is. And I know I'm not the only one. People seem to love Gemini 3. In fact, ever since Gemini 3 Pro has come out, traffic for chat GPT has only declined. Has declined as much as 6% since then. And that has really worried the CEO of OpenAI, Sam Alman. So much so that he has actually issued a companywide code red telling everyone that we need to close the gap. We need to improve chat GBT and make it better. So, it is now on top and it seems like they claim they have actually done that. There are some very reputable sources that claim that GPT 5. 2 should be released as soon as tomorrow and if not tomorrow, sometime this week and it should close the gap with Gemini 3. Now, if these rumors are true, this could put OpenAI back on top. But one of the questions I have is, is it too little too late? Everyone used to just think of chatbt when they thought of different AI models at least the general public and now more people are downloading and trying out Gemini and we might see that they have sort of lost their foothold at the top sort of that mental monopoly that most consumers have when they think of AI but I think the bigger risk here is what if OpenAI has actually rushed this and doesn't have a product that is ready for the general public because we have seen them do that before. When they first released GPT5 earlier this year, there was major backlash. People really didn't like the model and a lot of us felt that it was actually a step back. And I think this is actually where OpenAI's problems first started because this really upset a lot of people and then Gemini released their model and sort of fix the issue for consumers. And so this is a big I think a tremendous hill now for OpenAI to overcome to sort of regain the confidence as the top leader when it comes to AI chat bots. And I think this really hinges on what improvements are made to the model and even to chat GBT itself. And we don't have a lot of information on exactly what is going to be available with GPT 5. 2 and what improvements there are going to be. We do know that OpenAI was working on making Chat GBT faster, more reliable, and with more customization. However, those are rumors from a few weeks ago about an update that was supposed to happen later this month. And it's not really clear if the update that's coming out this week is just a rush version of that or something entirely different. So, really, all that kind of remains to be seen. Ultimately though, I think any sort of competition is a good thing. So, the fact that these two are battling it out for the top spot, I think is really overall beneficial for the entire AI industry. And they're not the only one. Elon Musk has recently said that Grock 4. 2 or 4. 20 as he calls it is coming out in the next 3 to four weeks. Now, he's also someone who has promised deadlines in the past that haven't been met. So, that really remains to be seen.
