Fructose is the sugar found in fruit, but also high fructose corn syrup. And it's metabolized differently than glucose. It goes right to your liver where it causes a lot of fatty liver and therefore insulin resistance and therefore higher insulin levels which tends to cause weight gain. If you're eating fruit, try to avoid the ones that are known to be high in fructose. And this would include things like grapes, watermelons, and mangoes. and choose lower fructose fruits such as uh citrus fruits, berries, and kiwis. The less insulin you have, the less you're going to gain
