Snowy Study with Me + Punting in Cambridge

hey friends and welcome back to the study with me Vlog in which I try and give different insights into I work and study so today I was planning on getting to work straight after breakfast but it turned out it was snowing on the day I decided to film this so I figured I'd go outside and take some videos of the snow because unfortunately it's becoming increasingly rare in the UK so I might as well document it

and soon after the snow began to turnning to rain so I figured I would go inside and finally have my breakfast whilst getting some admin tasks done on my iPad before watching some videos anding taking my multiv vitamin pills I only recently started take an extra vitamin D supplement because according to NHS website those with dark skin including South Asians may not be getting enough vitamin D from sunlight so they should be taking at least a 10 microgram supplement throughout the year and that all people should be taking supplements during the winter due to there being less daylight hours and more people spending more time indoors to stay warm and whatnot Apparently one of the things vitamin D helps to combat is tiredness and muscle pain which is great for me because in me I can stay awake for longer and be more

productive so I finally sat down to start studying this time I was watching one of the Math's lectures and filling in the lecture handout on my iPad often I find it helpful to watch lectures at a variable speed and that involves speeding up the lecture when it's covering content I'm already comfortable with and slowing it down when I start to feel a bit confused I think that during your study sessions being able to notice feelings of confusion surprise or even enjoyment can be really helpful in giving you some Direction when you fail to understand something to level of detail you're happy with a glimmer of confusion or surprise can be an indication that you need to devote more time to that topic or ask a friend or a teacher or even do a quick Google search similarly noticing that you're enjoying the learning process can be a great motivator for helping you power through and continue to work on the thing you're working on you can even take a bit further and learn a bit extra about the topic and use that as an example for telling yourself that what you learn learning isn't actually boring it's quite interesting and useful developing this emotional awareness and turning these vague feelings into useful and actionable all points can help you tackle the most important parts of the topic especially more so than being a Mindless zombie going through lectures and whatnot often you see me doing this by stopping the lecture and having a thing to myself or looking something up or loading up a Wikipedia page which can be quite useful and helping you understand where what you're learning fits into a wider picture afterwards my
