Cambridge University Room Tour (St. John's College)

hey friends and welcome back to the channel so if you're new here my name is ray and i'm a second year cambridge student physics and in this video we're going to be doing a university room tour so i have

my shooting grip ready here so let's go starting off outside the room we go through a double set of doors to reach the room itself as a quick overview we have the door uh bins shoe rack uh table chairs window bed shelf above it a bedside table couch mental piece of food on a fridge uh wardrobe door door tripod and the desk so at the landing we have a coat with some towels a mat a shoe rack a black bin a recycling bin and then we have this table with two chairs the window with some plants on the windowsill uh that's uh basil plants and that's a mince plants i think uh face masks and the view outside today looks pretty good as well if the window is clean that is but we can also open this window to get a better view and it does look pretty nice today after we have the bed with a shelf above it on which there aren't so many books because i mostly read on my kindle on the bedside table we also have a lamp from ikea which was about eight pounds and then some skin cream then we have a couch next to a bedside table with a coffee table a mantle piece behind it on which there are a lot of oranges some bananas uh cereals and squash behind that there's a pin board with a few things pinned on there um and beside the couch there is a fridge on which me and my roommate stole most of our fingers in here with a small freezer compartment at the top behind that we have a wardrobe on which there's a lot of paper for myself ikea box laundry basket and this is my wardrobe in which i stole most of my clothes and then we have a door going to kitchen which i will show in a bit a door go into my roommate's room and then a tripod behind which there's a storage uh door then we have the desk which is pretty difficult to see in this sunlight and a shelf above it i'll probably film a separate desk setup video at some point but i store a lot of my belongings in the desk as well so this is some of my camera stuff and headphones and below that there's a lot of food and then some other supplies here next up we have a kitchen which is shared between just my roommates and i and here we have some cleaning supplies a big a broken fridge which is why we have that fridge uh a stove uh paper towels dishes which we only wash when they need to be washed which is why this is always full and then general kitchen stuff and after that we have a storage room behind this tripod in which we store a lot of uh boxes and suitcases between the two of us so this is almost always full and it's curved around here because there's a staircase behind it which you'll see soon so next to our kitchen we have another door which leads to my roommate's room which is quite messy he's still in bed make of that one you will and then another door leading to the toilet which is shed between the two of us here we have a sink and bath the sink has a shower head attached because there's no shower head above the uh bath some toiletries and a view awesome first year accommodation free hair and then of course we have a toilet watering can beside it if you know know uh toilet paper railing towers and then a mirror for us to shave and a light above it so now i'm going to show you the building i live in by going outside so outside here we have a staircase going up to some more floors and then through here we have the actual building with my room over here and that's basically the building i live in so that's basically the room if you're

interested in knowing how much i pay that's 1 678 per term which uh for free terms of the academic year and because we can stay during the holidays without paying extra it comes to 18 pounds and 65 per day and that's for me and then my roommate has to pay the same amount so you can double that for the whole setup and yeah if you enjoyed the video leave a like if not leave a dislike let me know why and i might catch you next one
