Google requires all ads, assets, and destinations to meet specific technical requirements. Ads must be clear, functional, and lead to content that is relevant and easy to interact with. Videos that are age gated, subject to IP claims or YouTube content restrictions are not allowed. Georestricted video. Videos not available in a country that the ad targets are not allowed. Video content changed. Videos that changed after the ad unit was created are not allowed. Unacceptable video format. Uploading videos in a format that is not supported in Google Ads or YouTube is not allowed. Unacceptable scripts. You cannot use scripts to circumvent restrictions, modify platform features, or make excessive request volumes. This includes failing to comply with best practices such as reading data for over 1 million entities or editing over 100,000 entities daily.
