Cafe Drawing

All right. So, I was at the cafe the other day. I was thinking of uh really sketching this place and um just to it's been a long time. So, I to sketching um something I'm observing. So since I had my sketchbook with me that time and I started just sketching directly with a pen. So this particular pen is the Windor Newton uh. 5 mm felt tip pen. It's a drawing pen uh pen that I bought when I was in Singapore last August. I started with the framework. If you notice just now uh first looking at the mapping the uh proportions of what I was saying. So I started doing the this particular area is the where the uh point of sales or the where the cashier is in the preparation area is already started creating the outlines of the people the furniture like I'm directly observing. So, I was recording this with my camera mounted overhead on top of my sketchbook here. And I'm just uh directly uh drawing the edges of these people and their positions and their gestures and how they were seated and just directly and also the elements of course and across the time. So this took me about 45 minutes to create and of course people are moving about and every time I look and if I'm drawing that area I see the people and draw them. So, it's a record of time and with many different people moving about and some of them have already actually left when I was doing this. You could see, you know, I'm now creating all these um the lights fixtures and the ventilate uh on the ceiling. The ceiling here is particularly flat. And you can see I'm finishing up the lines and just putting in some edges that I see and observe. This is actually in perspective. So one vanishing point is ex actually existing and this is the level of where I'm seated. Well, I didn't bring my color pencil, so I didn't I opted to uh just color it at home. So, here I'm just doing the contrasting. So, to make it more three-dimensional and just from what I I've noticed, of course, I'm just this is not following actually the what the actual lighting conditions were and I'm just contrasting the elements here. So I'm using a Prisma color pencils. These are polychrome. They can blend in a bit better than uh wax type of uh color pencil versions. See, here I'm erasing some of the parts here because I thought, you know, it was too dark and didn't want that so much contrast. So this is the finished product. So what do you think?
