if you're frustrated with your low ebay selling limits then you're going to want to check out this video because i'm going to show you the fastest way to double your limits what's up everyone paul here from dropshippingtitans. com where i teach regular people just like you how to start their own successful drop shipping stores and let's face it selling limits on ebay suck you just started selling on ebay you're all excited you started listing your first products then all of a sudden ebay tells you nope you can't list any more products because you've hit your selling limit what are you supposed to do with only a limit of 10 items but as you're going to see that is just the starting point almost every big seller you see on ebay they all started with really low limits including myself but over time those limits increase now my limits are over a million dollars a month so the question is how do you get from where you are to the point where i am now and that's what i want to show you right now

to understand how to increase your selling limits you first need to understand why ebay puts these limits on our accounts in the first place they're not just trying to be jerks here they actually have a really solid reason for doing this they have a reputation to maintain they want to make sure that when people shop on their website that those buyers will be confident that any item they purchase they will actually receive they'll actually receive the correct item and they're going to have great customer service so they don't want a new seller like one of us coming on their platform selling a bunch of items to a bunch of different buyers and then messing it all up and driving customers away from using ebay they want to get you to do the right thing so that you can gain their trust and to ensure that you do the least amount of damage as possible if you do happen to mess up they do put these limits on your account that way if something goes wrong hey you've only driven away two or three at most 10 customers on ebay instead of hundreds of them if you just come out the gate selling to hundreds of customers and that's why the limits exist but if you gain ebay's trust they will see hey you're a good seller you're doing a good job we're going to raise your limits we're going to allow you to sell more items because we trust you now so how do you

gain ebay's trust and get them to double your limits well it's actually really simple all you need to do is go under this video and smash the like button okay joking aside guys it's actually very simple to gain their trust all you need to do is sell a bunch of items fulfill the orders and provide good customer service so let's say your limit is 10 items well you should list up 10 awesome items sell them ship them out to your customers and upload the tracking numbers and provide good customer service and then ebay will trust you and they're going to raise your limits and you want to make sure that those 10 items are really good ones so that they sell really fast so my advice to you as a new seller is do some product research see what items are already selling while on ebay and in particular look for really cheap items because the cheaper they are the more likely someone is to impulse buy it and purchase it really quickly and to purchase it from someone who doesn't have a lot of feedback which is probably the position that you're in right now so you sell those items and i would even sell them at a really cheap price in fact as cheap as you can go at this point you are not interested in making a profit our goal right now is to get you to sell as much as you can so that you can then max out your limits and call up ebay and get them to double your limits and the fastest way to do that is to sell cheap items that people want at a really competitive price so if you

do that for a month then ebay should increase your limits remember here ebay wants you to sell more items the more items you sell the more money ebay makes and the fastest way for you to sell more is for them to increase your limits in fact oftentimes when you get a limit increase they will actually double your limits now i know what a lot of you are probably thinking you're probably thinking but paul i want to start making profit right away but paul doubling from 10 is still only going to give me a limit of 20 and that's not very much but look this is the way that the law of compounding effect works right if you are able to double your limit every single month for a year and you start with a limit of only 10 at the end of the year you are going to end up with a limit of over 20 000 items now of course that's much larger limit than you're ever going to need and you should also realize that a lot of times ebay even increases your limit even more than double so they especially do this in the beginning as a new seller so just keep that in mind it doesn't always have to be a double sometimes they actually give you a little bit more than that

okay so now that you've actually done the groundwork how do you actually get ebay to give you the limit does it happen automatically well sometimes it does sometimes they'll send you an email that says hey you've actually received a limit increase even though you didn't even ask for one but if they don't do that what you can do is every single month go into your ebay account and request the higher limit so here i am on ebay. com and if i hover over the top right where it says my ebay and go to selling this will of course bring me to the ebay seller hub and then you can scroll down to where it has your limits so here are the limits on this account and now is a good time to explain the difference between the two types of selling limits that are on your account you see here on top it says 100 more items underneath that it says 5 000 whichever one i hit first as soon as i hit that i'm capped out for the month so i could list up 100 items that cost two dollars each and i'm fine or i can list up one item that costs five thousand dollars and i'm fine but i couldn't list anything more than that it's an either or in this case whichever one you hit first and it's really important to pay attention to these to both of them because sometimes you might hit the limit for one of them but not on the other one so for my accounts what i found was that after after some time after selling a lot i always hit the monetary limits well before i hit the quantity limits so for me it's more important for my accounts that i get an increase on the monetary limits and i kind of use that as leverage when i ask for my increases i always tell the ebay rep look don't increase my quantity limit i don't need that to be increased but please increase my monetary limit and that always works with them okay but let's now kind of go back so i can show you how to request a limit increase so all you need to do is click this button and then it will walk you through exactly what you need to do to request a higher limit usually what they're going to do is they're going to call you up so that you can request the limit over the phone now one tip i have for you here is always request your limit increase at the end of the month because your limits reset on the first of every month so if you do it at the end of the month it shows that you've sold and listed a whole bunch of items it looks really good ebay sees that you're maxing out your limit so it's a really good time to ask for that limit increase and the

final thing that you need to know is that in general ebay is only going to give you a limit increase once every 30 days so don't try to call too often because you'll probably just get denied in most cases so what do you do if you've hit your limit for the month and it's not time for limit increase yet well here's a little hack for you let's say you have 10 items listed up for sale because you have a quantity limit of 10. and let's say one item sells and now you can't relist that item you can't bring that quantity back up to one because you've maxed out your limit well what i suggest you do is you delete one of the other items so now you have space to bring this item back up to a quantity of one you always want to make sure that any item you sell you bring that quantity back up to one because there's a great chance it's going to sell again and you should do that even if that means you have to delete another item from your store that hasn't been selling well at all so now that you know how to double your limits on ebay then you might want to check out this video right here where i explain how i was able to quit my job as a lawyer at only 30 years old thanks to ebay drop shipping so click on that video i'll see you there in just one second
