When Should I Hire My First Virtual Assistant?

so in this video we're going to talk about when you should be hiring your first virtual assistant so a virtual assistant is someone that you hire to help you run your business but these are people that work remotely so they're not coming into your office or your home to help you with your business everything's being done pretty much online maybe you talk to him on the phone but more than likely you're talking to them over Skype or some other messaging service and they do their work from their own home wherever that is in the world and you never actually even have to meet them now I've worked with a lot of virtual assistants in the past I've hired them to do all aspects of my drop shipping business everything from listing items to fulfilling orders to doing customer service to the point where they've run pretty much a hundred percent of my drop shipping business for me which has been a huge asset because it is freed up my time and allowed me to expand into new ideas with dropship aim to make this YouTube channel for instance so they're definitely a huge asset but I wasn't always that way in the past I used to be really afraid to hire virtual assistants so when I first started my drop shipping business it took me a few months before I started to really see the traction and really start to see success with it but the whole time I was doing everything by myself and once the store started to scale up and start to do really well I still continued to do everything by myself I had heard of virtual assistants but I always feared that hiring one would one take away money from my pocket and to that the virtual assistant would never be able to do the job as well as I could but then I got to this critical point where I just could not sustain myself and my business any longer where I just couldn't do everything by myself so I was forced pretty much to hire virtual assistant even though I was convinced they were going to not do a good job and everything was fine in fact I got one day where I actually got sick and just couldn't even work on my business and I just said to my VA I said hey you know what even though I haven't trained you yet I can't do anything today can you do as much as you can and they were able to do everything they actually ran that whole aspect of my business that was really an eye-opening moment for me and those are still the two biggest objections that I hear when people first start hiring virtual assistants as I've helped a lot of people hire their first virtual assistants the fear that the person they hire is not going to do a good job and the fear that is going to cost too much money but almost a hundred percent of the time everyone that'll help hire their first virtual assistant they always say the same thing which is that it was worth it and their only regret is not getting started sooner not hiring their first virtual assistant sooner because really you have very little to lose by getting started so let me ask you this how much is your time worth because here in the United States most people you can find a job that pays you at least fifteen dollars an hour which means that you should not be doing any tasks that pay that are worth less than $15 an hour and a lot of these jobs you these tasks that we do for our drop shipping business we can outsource to a virtual assistant in the Philippines for as little as $2 an hour which means that you shouldn't be doing those tasks yourself it's just not worth your time now $2 an hour you can't get that from every website the website that I use to hire virtual assistants for 2 bucks an hour is online jobs I'll have a link to them underneath this video this isn't sponsored by them but I am an affiliate for them and I rave about them a lot because it really is the best resource that I have found for hiring the best and most competent virtual assistants at the most affordable price there are other websites you can hire virtual assistants from but with those websites the cost per hour or the salary is always much higher then you're going to find on online jobs they do charge a monthly fee but you only need to sign up for one month find all the virtual assistants you want to hire and then cancel your membership that's totally fine to do and by using that model it ends up actually costing you less because you are hiring them for a much right so you might be wondering what this has to do with the title of this video which is when should you hire your first virtual assistant but what I see a lot of times is that people feel like they have to wait longer than they really have to hire their first virtual assistant they think they have to be mentally prepared for it that they have to understand that hiring a virtual assistant is worth it for the price and that hiring a virtual assistant is
