How to Fix: "Upload for the day exceeded the limit" in the eBay File Exchange

hey what's up everyone paul here from dropshipping titans comm back with another video about the ebay file exchange and if you use regularly either because you upload files directly into the ebay file exchange or you use a software that does it like autodesk which is a software I use for my drop shipping business then you might eventually run into a problem where eBay is going to tell you that you've hit your limit for the day of how much you can use the file exchange and in this video I'm going to show you how to fix that so this error right here it's called upload for the day exceeded the limit that error is going to appear to you in one of two different places if you're using the file exchange then when you come into the upload results you'll see it here or when you download the file and see why it didn't work or if you're using Auto DES for your drop shipping business then when you click on the Chrome extension on the top right here is a little bell icon and if you click that is the error log it's going to tell you anytime that auto DS is unable to communicate with eBay and it's going to tell you why now the most common reason is because you weren't locked into eBay but if you are a larger seller than another error that might pop up will say upload for the day exceeded the limit see when you first start using the file exchange eBay limits you to 5,000 kind of calls per day and what that means is you might upload one file but if that file contains 5,000 different items and you want to change the price on all 5,000 items that just maxed you out for the day so for some people they're going to hit this limit very fast every day so what do you do hit this limit you just call a bay up and ask them to increase it for you and eBay is very generous they will increase your file exchange limit pretty much no questions asked so underneath this video I will have the phone number for eBay I'll also have a link to Autodesk if you want to check that out and now I'm going to call eBay and you can listen as I ask for an increase for my file exchange so you can do the same thing if it ever happens to you hi welcome to eBay just so you know we may record and listen to this call thanks for being one of our most valued customers a concierge expert will be happy to help you but first in a few words tell me how I can help you file exchange okay let me pass you to an eBay teammate who can help thanks for calling eBay my me can I get your name please yes it's Paul Lipsky that's what's going on today I'm hoping I can increase the number of times I can use the file exchange each day okay yeah we can take a look at this on the dot-com site yes on ebay. com do you have variation listings yes we do okay what kind of limit are you looking for well what is it out right now 5,000 yes if we could do 50 that'd be more than enough perfect okay I've got that face great thank you so much no problem at all you have a wonderful day okay youtube bye so there you go a pretty painless process now this was an excerpt from my course eBay dropshipping Titans and the video I haven't there is a little bit longer because she did ask a couple of more questions that aren't terribly important but those ones are inside the main course if any of my students want to check it out or if you are interested in my eBay dropshipping course in general I will have that linked up down below otherwise guys thanks so much for watching feel free to give the video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it and subscribe to the channel for more content about eBay and Amazon and see you in the next video bye for now
