🔥 The Conflict Nobody Warns You About: Focus vs. Life

There is this fundamental tension, and I'm not sure how to properly resolve this. On the one side, we've got the world that massively rewards us for focusing on something, for being better at something. The winner takes most in most markets. So, being hyper-focused is getting rewarded. But, then on the other hand, if you completely neglect other parts in life, the fundamentals completely break away. If we don't also take care of our health, relationships, if we don't also take care of our children, everything that we work for breaks away. So, why then focus in the first place? Maybe that's the reason why the world is rewarding us for all of this additional effort, because it's so hard to put in the additional effort. It's hard to find the free time. I don't have a good answer to this conflict, and it seems like different people answer this extremely differently. Some are working 24/7, others just use the work in order to serve all of those other purposes. Let me know how you think about this entire topic down below in the comments.
