Automate Workflows: Send a Gift When a Meeting is Booked

one of the most common plays that we get asked about at Soso is how do I send a gift to someone after they book a meeting or a meeting actually occurs and both are possible it just depends on your data sources so um I'll walk through that process I'm going to do it with a let's do a $10 gift card so we're going to do Starbucks G do door Dash let's do GrubHub as well and then we'll throw in a charity Choice as well so the recipient will be able to choose between these different options and on the next step I am going to give it a name so this is our meeting Booker followup coffee SL M cool so the offer is going to expire in 30 days you can set that time frame to whatever you'd like it to be up to a year we are going to automate this and I actually don't want to require approval before because I'm just going to trigger it based off of Salesforce data so I will add an integration here I'm going to look at Salesforce data and I'm G Fields so I want opportunities to be my trigger and Soso actually has a pretty nice setup where um our stages start with zero of meeting booked so if I want to automate when a meeting has been booked I would say when the stage is z- meeting booked send a gift or I can do discovery which means a meeting occurred and I want to follow up after the meeting occurred so since this one is for booking a meeting I'm looking for an opportunity stage is z- meeting booked you can add additional logic too so maybe if you wanted to combine this with some other data that's totally possible I don't want to I'm just going to send a $10 gift card to anyone who books a meeting um on the next step we are going to choose who we're going to send it to so the contact we're going to pull in information from the contact in sales force and just map that out here first name last name email and the account is actually going to have the company name so we'll do account name we go to the next step I want the delivery confirmations to come to myself so this is going to tell me when it's triggered who it goes to if there's an error things like that uh and then we can also add Salesforce campaign tracking so if I'm like all right well I want to see the success of this campaign I'm G to create the meeting Booker campaign it's going to start today and it's going to end at the end of the quarter so let's do that campaign type is Direct Mail we create campaign now we're going to automatically spin up a Salesforce campaign that corresponds to this meeting Booker campaign and then we'll track additional details back to that campaign like how much you spent and the pipeline that closed one as a result of it you'll be able to see if this increases your close one rate things like that um once this is set up you hit Next Step uh and you are going to be able to basically just activate it so I'm going to charge this to the sales budget since we're improving their conversion rates go to the next step so once you're here you're able to set up the email theme choose the messaging that's going to go alongside it I want to do for contacts we're GNA do hi first name insert the field cool we're super excited to meet enjoy a coffee on us and let's get ready to chat about how to improve your pipeline generation and then you could actually sign it off as the contact owner too so it appears like it's coming from them um and then let's apply an email theme I'm going to do party link theme here's a gift for you and then I click create activate it and we are live and ready to go uh let me know if you have any questions
