I just found this magical AI app that does something I have never seen before. And I'm not hyping this up when I say that the first time I tried this, my jaw literally dropped. So, the app I want to show you is called To-Doist. I'll have a link for this in the description down below, but this video is not sponsored by them in any way. Now, this is a pretty standard to-do list app, but they just added this killer new feature. Now, when you open up a new task, you'll see this button right here. And this is ramble. And this will turn your brain dumps into structured to-do list items. Check out how it works. So, I'll start out by pressing the ramble button. And then I'll just start saying all the different things that are on my mind. Take out the trash. Walk the dogs. Put gas in my truck. Also, make sure to buy groceries. So, you see in real time it's adding those tasks. I'm not pressing a button between each thing. It automatically is able to parse out different tasks as I'm rambling and is able to add them to my to-do list. And it's using AI to do this. It's not using the built-in dictation. So, it's going to be a lot more accurate. It also means you can do things like whisper. So, I can say something like, "Don't forget to buy that cream for my rash. " So, even if you're in a loud environment or you can't speak too loudly for whatever reason, it's still going to understand you and you're going to be able to brain dump all your ideas. Also, it supports adding your tasks to different projects or giving them priorities or due dates or different things like that. So, for instance, if I come in here and say, "I'm working on a YouTube video about Ramble. It's due on Friday. Also, I need to add some items to the grocery list like bananas and oranges. " You can see right here that I told it to add bananas and oranges to the grocery list. So, it did that and it even added my YouTube video about Ramble to my YouTube videos project even though I didn't expressly tell it to. It was intelligent enough to know that. And it assigned it a due date which is in 4 days. So, that functionality I find works really well if you expressly tell it which project to add it to. And sometimes it works if you say something like, "I'm working on a YouTube video. " And it sees that you have a YouTube videos project. That is a functionality that I would like to see improved. After all, if I'm telling it I want to buy oranges, it should know that goes on the grocery list. It doesn't really belong anywhere else. But so far, it's a pretty good start. I also love that you could just you can literally just ramble into this. Even if you make mistakes, you can go back and fix them. Or if it makes mistakes, you can fix them. So, I'll show you an example of how I've been trying this out. I can do stuff like, okay, I'm working on a video about Ramble, and I also have a new goal that I want to do a onearmed pull-up. Let's go ahead and add that video to my YouTube project. And we'll add the one-armed pull-ups to my goals project. I need to also book a tire rotation for this Thursday. And someone told me about this really good movie called Free Solo. Oh, shoot. The tire rotation is actually on Friday. And the movie I was thinking of is actually called Skyscraper. All right, that's it. And you see it automatically closes itself after it realizes or after it hears something that indicates that you no longer have anything else to ramble about. That's pretty cool. But to get the most out of Ramble, I have two additional tips. First, make it easy to access. I add it to my action button so I can launch it from anywhere. You could also add it as a widget on your lock screen or in the control center. In addition to that, I found this way to sort of hack ramble. I haven't seen this in any of the official documentation. And I don't think you're really supposed to do this and it doesn't always work, but let me show you a couple examples of what I mean. So, start a new ramble. Draft an email to Susan. Draft the email in the comment section telling her that we got her proposal. Thank her for it, but it's not enough money and we'll need more to actually finalize the deal. Actually, write the email to her. Sign it from Paul and make it formal. And now if I go ahead and open it up, you can see it actually drafted the email for me. There is some formatting issues there, but otherwise it actually took my ideas and turned it into an entire email that I can then copy, just change those formatting problems and actually send it off to Susan. Here's another cool example. I'll come in here and say, I want to add a movie to my movie watch list. It's that movie about Alex and he climbs a mountain all by himself.

change it to the name of the actual movie. And you see it understood what movie I was talking about and accurately changed it to the name of that movie. And one more example, or maybe a couple more. Having a little fun with this. List all of the ingredients I would need to make hummus and add each ingredient to my grocery list. list five movies that are about the apocalypse and add them to my watch list. Yeah, pretty cool stuff. Now, I never want to be one of those people who overhypes new AI tools. This is, after all, just a task management app, but it's really the implementation of this that amazes me. You see, traditionally, for an app like this to work, you'd hit record, hit stop on the recording. The AI would then transcribe your voice. Then a second AI would have to read that transcription before it could actually do anything. But Ramble understands your audio directly. So by skipping the middleman, the transcription step, Ramble is able to turn your spoken thoughts into structured tasks instantly. And that's what makes this feel like magic. That's what got me so excited about this. I would love to see more apps adapt something like this because this would kill in an app like Notion or it'd be great in something like Gemini or ChatgBT if they could add something like a ramble button where you could just list off a bunch of tasks or ideas and have it start taking action on each of them before you even stop recording. That would be amazing. Now, To-Doist has three different plans. There's a beginner plan which is free and Ramble is available on it. However, there is a usage cap for that. So, if you want unlimited access to Ramble, you will need one of their paid subscriptions, but that starts at just $5 a month. Either way, I'll have a link for this down below in the description where you can sign up. And also, if you do sign up for their pro plan, I was able to get a trial of it for an entire week for free to test it out and try out Ramble with unlimited usage to be able to see if it's actually useful for me, which for me it definitely was. So, definitely try it out. I'll have a link for it in the description down below. And if you made it this far in the video, do me a quick favor, give it a thumbs up, and subscribe to the channel. I'm always looking for new cool AI tools just like this one. So, if you enjoyed this video, that's what this channel is all about, and you'll definitely want to make sure you subscribe.
